Guest Reviews
- Nicola (8/5): -
- Aniva (10/5): Absolutely Stunning - Location was breathtaking , so unreal! Manage to get a few good family photos with a beautiful view as our background! Never got sick of waking up to such stunning views of the mountains and lake. Super! Kids loved there stay they utilized every room in the house and it felt like home.
- Aaron (10/5): Great place to stay - Great location, great views, great family place to stay, a home away from home Nothing to dislike
- Kris (10/5): A wonderful house to enjoy with friends. - Beautiful location and stunning house. Beds were brilliant, rooms nice and airy and overall the house was warm and cozy, despite the sub-zero temps outside. Fantastic water pressure and the kitchen and living area were spacious and lovely. Has a lived-in feel that makes you feel quickly at ease, rather than a stark and modern new build with no character. We had all we need in terms of making a nice meal - cutlery, pots and pans were all there. Nice big fridge. Spa was amazing on a nice clear night! Also, we had a blocked sink on the Sunday (it happens, no biggie) and after leaving a voice message, I was called back and a plumber came around and fixed it immediately. On a Sunday! Great service.
It's also really easy to walk down to a public walkway and take a stroll towards Jack's Point. Picturesque on a clear winter's day. This is only a very minor niggle, but there was Sky Now on the TV menu, which we were excited about (to watch some rugby). But while it would play for 10 minutes, an error message would pop up, saying there was another user. Kept doing it when we would go out to try again. As I say, though, this is minor as we weren't there to watch Sky Sport!
The only other minor criticism was that the wood supplied for the fire was one night's worth.... and we were there for three. It wasn't a huge problem - we just found the closest supermarket and bought more.
- Cameron (7/5): Enjoyable - Spa was great No TV
- Mellor (9/5): Lovely home and location. - Lovely home that was perfect for a family holiday which included adults and children. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds.
It is conveniently located, close to the attractions of Queenstown but away from the busyness.
Easy drive to Queenstown city centre, Arrowtown and Glenorchy and equally convenient to the Frankton shops and restaurants.
Hot tub was a hit. You do get some road noise but it didn't cause us too much disturbance.
A few extra towels for hot tub would be helpful.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - The location and views were excellent.
- Paul (10/5): Wish we stayed longer - Beautiful house, great views, lots of room, comfortable, lovely hot tub.
- Leo (7/5): Good - Supplies & facilities provided were good. We like the hot tub too! Only 1 common toilet/bathroom is not quite enough. The house looks a bit old and there’s old house smell inside the rooms.
- Jasmine (8/5): Very good -
- Bailey (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, 18 minutes out of the city, had a very homely atmosphere and beautiful views of the lake. Nothing
- Bryce (9/5): Superb -
- Priyanka (9/5): Superb -
- Diane (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (8/5): Great location dated house and facilities - Great location and views to die for. Easy communication though we had no real issues whilst staying here Quite a dated home that needs some TLC. Showers ran hot and cold when they were both on at the same time.
TVs were quite old and surprised there wasn't any sky tv for what you pay per night
- Randy (10/5): Highly recommended to families with a separate family room upstairs and a balcony to die for - No location did not disappoint, view of lake wakatipu and a a walking trail a minute away. Just like staying in a Tuscany. a villa with a view and character
- Dawn (10/5): We loved the sunny position and incredible view - The view was exceptional and the house was tastefully decorated and roomy with all facilities. Very little but unfortunately the tv wasn’t working for most of our stay.
- Ciappara (5/5): Lovely property and views, but spoilt by being unable to shower. - The villa had loads of character and was very well set out. The views were lovely. There was no water pressure in the shower - it was terrible. Spoilt the whole experience. We have to return with other family shortly, but being unable to take a shower has meant we will not stay here again. Also no response to our messages when requesting to extend check out till 12. It would have been courtesy to at least respond.
- Tania (10/5): We had an amazing 5 nights staying here and would recommend highly - View, beds, garden, amount of room Nothing, I loved everything
- Lisa (10/5): This was perfect for our family of 6 - It was homely and spacious. Beautiful views from the kitchen & dining. Great outdoor area for entertaining. Loved the hidden upstairs lounge. We made use of the table tennis in the garage. Took us a bit to get use to the driveway but figured this is typically Queenstown. Fireplace was a perfect addition to making it feel more homely. Well maintained and clean. It was nice to have the option of the heaters in each room. Location from town centre was about 15 mins but that didn’t bother us coming from Perth where down the road is 15mins. We were not far from the Remarkables & Frankton shopping centres, so everything was close by. Loved this home and would stay again! Worth every penny! Suggestion only - Maybe upgrade the vacuum? There 6 of us in the house. I like to vacuum daily and found the vacuum didn’t clean too well (unless I’m fussy lol). I even changed the bag and cleaned the filter but it didn’t make to much of a difference
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ngawai (10/5): AMAZING & RELAXING - Everything amazing property had everything Far from town itself but that’s about it
- Pearl (10/5): Absolutely loved our week in this beautiful home. Had everything we needed and was very comfy and cosy - Beautiful house with stunning views. Beds were a lil harder than our liking
- Yosef (10/5): Exceptional -
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (8/5): Very good -
