- Ronald (8/5): - Second time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Folks on site are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Each room has an ice maker, you are greeted with homemade treats in the room. They have a fridge and microwave. Mismatched towel as character and the oversized bath towel is awesome. The hotel is older and they are in the process V of fixing things up. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. I will stay here as my first choice anytime I’m passing through the area.
- Linda (4/5): Not what I expected. - This place was no where near what was described on line or the picture shown. It was dirty, unkempt, and uncomfortable. The pillows were very uncomfortable. There was only one door lock and it was flimsy, leading to me feeling unsafe.

Along with this thought it said it served breakfast but it didnt and theirs a hot tub but never explained where it was or how to access it. For how much charged for the rooms i would expect some form of breakfast or at least mentioning in booking that breakfast is not included.

Family owned. Would stay here again when passing through. Out of town by a mile or two so just be aware of this.

Rustic charm that the owner should think about keeping the style and feel to the room when time to renovate.

You can forgive the aging basins and cupboards as they were clean and "period" pieces that will probably be updated over time. Nice staff, a good location, spacious.
- BETHANY (10/5): - So cute!!! Quiet, clean, no musty smell, the ac wasn't loud, it was great!! There were even chocolates on the pillows! We got in late and didn't have to talk to a person. Checked out without talking to a person. It was lovely. We were delighted.

- Brenda (8/5): - The owner asked me if I would accept Room 13. I am not superstitious so I went to the room and was impressed by the newly-renovated features. It has a rustic cabin decor and was really clean. Bed was super comfortable. Negatives: toilet was too low to the floor which is challenging for those us who have knee problems. No blow dryer. Overall grreat value and helpful staff.

Light fixtures needed some work. The real disappointment was that the hot tub was not in operation, a soak would have been really nice after a day hiking in the rainy woods.

- Jena (2/5): Worst motel stay ever!!! - The mattress and box springs must have been 30 years old. It was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. You could actually feel the springs it was so bad. When we opened the door to the room, all you could smell was flowery carpet fresh which gave me a migraine headache. The calking around the tub was moldy and needed to be cleaned and replaced. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone, and we will never stay there again.

- Keith (10/5): - The property was quaint, little building right off the highway. Very reasonable price, staff was very pleasant. Dont let the outside of the building fool you, the rooms are beautiful. There is firewood on site, comfy bed, my wife and I LOVED IT! She wants to come back soon.
- Carol (10/5): - We have stayed here several times in the original rooms and now the renovated ones. It's a great place to stay, reasonable price yet clean, charming and comfortable. Don't stay here if you're looking for thick carpets and unnecessary luxury. Do stay here if you want a place that suits the northern Idaho environment and a place to relax. There's picnic tables under the trees with grocery stores and restaurants nearby.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - The staff were friendly, but the condition of the motel was not good. Our bathroom door and window couldn't close. There was very little light so we had to use flashlights to see things in our suitcases. There were bugs/beetles crawling around the bathroom. There was a dog barking constantly right behind the motel until late at night.
- Paul (8/5): Cute and clean - What a cute little room, like an old wood cabin. Room has everything you need and though it’s a little dated, you can tell they make an effort to keep it clean, and it’s quite comfortable. Check-in was fast and we had a question regarding our dog - the woman (owner?) at the front desk knew the vet’s number by heart. Not far from Bonner’s downtown area (5 min drive), and right across the street from a big grocery store (Super 1). We’re just passing through but this place has been great and we’d stay here again.
- Caroline (6/5): - We were happy to have a clean comfortable bed after a long day at a family reunion. Knowing we were checking into a motel, we knew about what to expect, and the room was fairly clean and comfortable. Our arrival time was so late that the staff made provisions for us to receive our room key and that was extremely thoughtful!
- Cynthia (6/5): - I was disappointed in my room, first thing I noticed when I walked it was the smell. It smelt musty. The windows were open and I left them open all night, but the smell remains. The bathroom leaves alot to be desired. Shower needs to be replaced!!!! Bathroom door is funky, doesn't open all the way, it hits the sink. Toilet seat either needs to be replaced or something, it doesn't sit straight on the the toilet. The carpet looked pretty new, but it felt damp and the motel didn't have a pool. It's just an old Motel. Oh yes the front door needs to have a new jam or something done to it, because it didn't look very safe to me (I put a chair under the door knob for more safety, thats not good).

- Karl (10/5): - This property is immaculate. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Thevrooms were like cabins with lots of beautiful wood features. I love this area and this little motel was a super great find at an amazing price. I normally stay at the casino because of the amenities offered there but i can say this was worth the savings.

- Linda (8/5): Nice stay - The beds were comfortable, has a small fridge and microwave. The freezer section was too icy to fit in our ice pack. Big coffee maker, but only 1 small pkt of regular to make. Nice location next to a restaurant, since no breakfast is provided. Nice TV. Dim lighting. Has good wifi. This entire area is expensive. In other areas, the high price we paid would have gotten us deluxe accomodations. They are in the process of remodeling rooms.
- Jody (8/5): Wrong room but turn out ok. - Gentleman at check in was nice and let me see the room I booked, and the upgraded room which was the room in the picture on Hotels.com of what I thought I booked. The room that is shown is not the room you get. I upgraded to the room in the picture which was another 30$. Obviously Hotels.com should correct the picture. Nice and quiet. Very clean and basic.
- Avery (2/5): Sketchy. At least I didn't see riff-raff around... - SUPER Sketchy! Windows were open, including the one that didn't have a screen in it, when I got there, very hard to close and lock. Carpet was damp. Heater didn't work - froze all night. I did not feel safe, which I barely slept because of that and that I was freezing. Looks like a dive from the outside. Stay only if you're desperate, which apparently I was. Not worth the price.

- Charlynn (10/5): - Owner very friendly and accommodating. Had a last minute issue and part or our party could not make it for the date scheduled. Owner advised if he could re-sell the room, would not charge me for it even though I was past the cancellation deadline for a refund AND had booked through expedia. He re-sold the room in less than 30 min (after 5pm) and called me to let me know! Very much appreciated!!! We will be back up to stay again... =)
- Lynda Jeanette (4/5): - We had the bedroom kitchenette combo. It needs a serious remodel. There is plenty of room but it is falling apart and ill equipped
