• Spencer (10/5): - Everything was great, really nice spacious cabin with a fully equipped kitchen that allowed us to cook meals in, barbecue, hot tub and such a quiet and serene location. Plenty of space to walk around, we wouldn't have needed to leave all week for walks in nature and somewhere quiet. It isn't far from shops or activities too and there is plenty of information on both plus a on-site shop for essentials and some local items! -

• ti4m4rie (9/5): Beautiful chilled break - Its a beautiful place. Lodge was perfect and everything you need for a chilled break away fron normal life. Hot tub was amazing. The lodges are very close together. You just need to be aware when using the hot tub and walking about in the lodge. There are some privacy issues.

• Sarah (10/5): An extremely peaceful break with beautiful surroundings and great accommodation would definitely revisit. - The property was really well equipped even down to miniature bottles of toilet toiletries, tea and coffee et cetera. The interior was very spacious and comfortable. We added an additional night onto our stay at very short notice which was accommodated by the owners at a very busy time of the year. This was very much appreciated. There wasn’t anything that we disliked about the property, if anything, perhaps the decking could do with a bit of a spruce up.

The hot tub was a fabulous treat after a day of exploring the beautiful countryside and neighbouring towns/villages. The reclining sofa is an extra touch of luxury, perfect for making the most of the log burner. We felt welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. It would be helpful to have a reading lamp near the sofa.

Could have done with providing a bit of butter for the bread, at night there was something living under the lodge which was scratching and chewing which kept us up both nights as it was very loud and sounded like it was in the room and at times quite scary.

Very impressed with cake , bread . Milk , washing up liquid , logs everything to start our weekend . In the kitchen there was fresh bread, cake and milk in the fridge. The log fire and the spa were wonderful additions to the perfect lodge. We have already planned to return. • Jemma (10/5): Relaxing getaway with the dog - An amazing place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, a gorgeous fully equipped lodge, with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, and sitting outside was so peaceful and relaxing. So many things to do and places to visit, we needed more time. Whoever made the lemon drizzle cake needs to get themselves on Bake Off, as that was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Loved taking my camera for a little walk with all the lovely birds and animals. The service wasn’t great as a business woman I’m dreadful at looking at my phone to make sure all is ok even on holiday. Probably a good thing I couldn’t check. It also meant to could check up on family too!

• Clair (9/5): Loved the peace and quiet and large accomodation oh yes and dog friendly - Hot tub, large space indoors and outdoors, attention to nature outside, fishing lakes, locality, Large bath sheet plus extra towel each for hot tub, Frying pan (although states on bottom suitable for all hobs) wasn't suitable for hob, would be good to have a broom and dustpan and brush as well as a hoover for the floors, not enough coat hangers

The home made bread and cake as a free extra was a lovely touch and delicious. The hot tubs being checked daily was also very good and efficient. The owners were more then hospitable. Signal wasn't great but we didn't expect any different being in a secluded area . Location was beautiful

Central for most of the local attractions , although with the weather we had and the peacefulness around the site we would have been just as happy to stay lazing around the lakes and using the hot tub. Lots of cobwebs around the room ceilings that I had to clean as my youngest daughter found them scary. The cleanliness of the cabin was good but the cobwebs are definitely an oversight.

• Sean (10/5): Great weekend break - Fantastic facilities, warm welcome with delicious cake, bread, milk etc. Deluxe lodge was exceptional, will 100% be back and have already shared with friends and family. Beautiful surroundings, fishing lakes, lots of wildlife to watch from the warmth of the lodge or hot tub. Thank you for a lovely weekend
• Sandra (9/5): Had a wonderful time. Will definitely try and arrange another trip in the not too distant future. - We all loved the hot tub. The location was peaceful but near to places of interest so not too remote. It was perfect. My husband enjoyed fishing in the lakes. Not too many places to walk unless we drove somewhere first. Would have been nice to walk to a nearby public house and be able to have a drink and walk back.

• Jade (10/5): Lovely & quiet. Very relaxing & peaceful stay. - Clean & beautifully presented. We loved the log burner it made it so cosy. Nothing.
• Adrian (10/5): Loved it - Had the most peaceful break in a very long time.Loved the facilities hot tub log burner and all the little extras that were left for our arrival fresh bread/cake /milk/coffee/tea it was really lovely. We also had jacuzzi tub in the log cabin. The only little problem for us was that we had 2 dogs and if there had been a little picket fence the dogs could have gone outside without leads on. On saying that there was cabins with fenced off bits, and when we return the next time we would ask for those particular cabins. just some fencing for dogs to sit out on deck without leads but it was really beautiful to stay at the cabins and if you have dogs just ask for one that is fenced i
• Amelie (10/5): Peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable, we will be back! - The lodge exceeded my expectations. The location is so peaceful. The surroundings were beautifully maintained. The accommodation is spotless and has everything you need. Communication before arrival is great. You know exactly what to expect and what you should bring. We will definitely be going there again! Nothing!
