• Makimoto (8/5): - 困った事も質問すれば管理人の方が丁寧に返信してくださり対応がよかったです。 夜泊まるくらいしか滞在してませんでしたが、過ごしやすかったです。 洗濯機もあり洗剤もあったので、2泊でしたが荷物もすくなくすみました。 洗濯を干すスペースがもう少しあればよかった。 まだ夜寝るには掛け布団がうすく寒かった。なのでエアコンをつけて寝たのですが乾燥するので洗濯を干して加湿したかったのですがなかったので 干したものをかけるとこがあればいいなと思います。

• MAYUMI (7/5): やや快適 - 広かったので、窮屈感はなくて良かった！ トイレが２つあり1階には浴室付きのお風呂2階にはシャワー室もあったので、大人数で過ごすには良いかもしれないです。 バスタオルもフェイスタオルも臭くて使えなかった！！ 翌日合流予定だった主人に捨ててきても良いバスタオルやフェイスタオルを持ってきてもらった。 お風呂の栓が壊れてて栓を抜いても浴室の残り湯が流れなくて困った。残り湯に手を突っ込み栓を無理矢理引っ張って抜いてようやく水抜き出来た(~_~;)

• Jessica (9/5): Se siente como estar en casa - Ya me había hospedado la última vez que habia ido y cuando fui me habia encantado demasiado porque tenía muchas cosas cerca, es muy tranquilo y amplio. Pero de nuevo, es un gran lugar y se siente como una segunda casa ✨️. La última vez que habia ido estaba muy bien equipado la casa y esta vez habia menos utensilios de cocina.

• Cuang (4/5): If the beds/pillows were better, then i can live with all the other shortcomings of this property. - Location was good, a bit of a walk to Ikebukuro station (15mins), a shorter 10mins walk to Kanemecho Station on the Fukutoshin/Yurakucho line. (but if you have to change train in Ikebukuro station onto this line then , you might as well walk the full 15min, as it will take you longer than 5mins to get to the the differnent line) A couple of supermarket nearby, nearest one about 2mins walk, coin laundry (around the corner) which turned out to the be the saving grace of this property, and it was really cheap to use 300yen for a cold wash,400 hot wash (7kg) , 100yen for 15mins Dryer (7kg), 10kg wash and dry 60mins cycle for 1000yen. Sushi place right across the house, and a variety of restaurants, chain stores as well as local shops near Kanemecho station. nearest convienient store about 5-7mins away either toward Kanamecho station or Ikebukuro station. All in all a great location, probably not for younger children or elderly due to the distance to the train station, Taxi to the ikebukuro station about 1000yen, a bit less to Kanamecho depending on traffic. overall clean property working microwave, toaster oven, kettle (did not try the rice cooker), induction stove/rangehood works. fridge is working condition. toilets works excellent and quite clean. bathroom is clean, but venting/drying function broken. washing machine working hair drying working laundry detergen provided dish washing detergen provided very steep stairs - but very typical in Japanese home, eldery and children beware House faces a pedestrian street, no vehicle access. so Taxi would be stopping on the main street about 1mins away from property. Older property that was renovated which i knew before arriving, however the property is overdue for large maintenance projects or a complete change of all the furnitures. 1. Out of the 5 chairs provided all were falling apart and wobbling, luckily with my trusty swiss multi tool i was able to partially screw the bolts back, making 4 chairs somewhat safe to sit on. its a health hazard to provide such furnitures for guests. 2. many cupboard doors were coming of their hinges or already removed due to disrepair. Sagging shelf 3. out of the 2 vanity sinks, 1 mixer tap is loose from its mounting, the second sink just sits loosely on the vanity cupboard, dont drain very well. 4. this was mentioned in other review, out of the 4 cooking pots, 1 was still in useable conditions, the others were scratched beyond useable. no drying rack for dishes 5. this was also mentioned in previous review -airconditioners filters were packed with dust causing the aircon to choke and not work well, cleaned them myself and the aircon working fine after that. night temp was low 2/3C 6. Bathroom dryer didnt work, the host did offer to send someone to have come have look (only in a few day after issue reported and only for a look not a fix), since we were not sure where we be on the suggested date, this was not agree upon and we ended up using the nearby coin laundry to do all our laundry. 7. out of the 4 "beds" 2 were on bed frames 2 were on some thin wooden pallet. 3 out of the 4 mattresses had no mattress tops, so you are sleep on coil springs. no way to get a comfortable sleep. 8. paper thin pillows, need to do some origami and fold them to get the right height. 9. vacuum cleaner a bit worst for wear 10. some of the window would not lock so the house cannot be fully secured, some of the fly screen wont close properly. 11. lack any wardobe to hang clothing. (should at least provide a hanging rack for jackets)
• jacqueline (8/5): Great value for price, big apartment with lots of space - Very big space - 2 bedrooms with many beds upstairs and nice living room/ kitchen downstairs. The bathing room is fantastic with room heating and a big, deep bathtub. The host was very quick to answer by WhatsApp when I had questions and gave comprehensive answers which solved my problem - which was about heating and hot water. Very cold in the winter , but fine once we heated it up. 10 minutes walk from nearest metro station but a nice walk on a pedestrian walkway with lots of greenery and flowers.

• Esther (1/5): Un HORROR - Un horror. Nada que ver con las imágenes ofertadas. Falta de mantenimiento y limpieza hasta el punto de tener que abandonar la vivienda. El anfitrión aún así se niega a hacerme el reembolso de lo que pagué porque no admiten cancelación pese a no cumplir con los requisitos que debe tener una vivienda por la que pagas para pasar unos agradables días con tu familia. Tuve que buscar a la mañana siguiente otra vivienda que reuniera unos requisitos adecuados. Voy a publicar algunas fotos de cómo me encontré la vivienda. A la mañana siguiente el anfitrión solucionó parte de lis problemas de limpieza . El resto de problemas no se solucionaron Falta absoluta de mantenimiento y limpieza . Si pudiera pondría más fotos pero no me deja la aplicación

I've tried Villa Ikebukuro Altair and Vega but both times they have been extremely cramped/small for the amount of people they allow to stay there. This time, the bathroom had very poor ventilation as well. Also 12m walk from station adds up.

• Hazique (10/5): Great place to stay! - The location is close to the nearby bus stop, supermarket, 24hr laundry space, abundance of vending machines, and subway line. Check out time is a bit too early for us whole family but I guess that's the regulation in Japan that we have to abide by.

• Janice (7/5): Good stay. - It fits our family of 4 nicely. The kitchen was well equip with plates and bowls. There is a microwaves that we can used to heat up food. The property is located at a quiet neighbourhood. Which let us have a good rest after a full day walking. The property was nicely decorated. We got an issue when we checked in. The lock cannot be open when we put in the pin which they have provided. When we called property management they just repeated the pin number to us. We spend more than 45 minutes outside the house trying to get the key out from the lock. Some of the items need to be replace. The clothes rack was spoilt. The aircon/ heater in the living room can only blow less than 1 meter. Unless you are sitting below the aircon, the rest of the living room is cold. The bed was rather small, and hard. We use the Kanamecho station instead of the Ikebukuro station which we find it to the place. We go by the main street then turn right to reach the property.

However we found the Kanamencho station to be more accessible. Perhaps in future this alternative route can be shared with incoming tenants
• Tove (1/5): Terrible and yet expensive place - The only nice thing was the washing machine. The entire villa 3 was extremely dirty. The place had a terrible smell. One of the duvets was too small. The host claimed it had normal size and that the others were exceptionally kong. The small duvet could not fit an adult height 163 cm. Thete is a steep staircase, which is not mentioned in the description of the villa. One aircon did not work properly. It was impossible to stay warm in the house. The standard was more like a low-budget accommodation. We had booked 5 nights but left as soon as possible, which was after 2 nights. Refund denied
• Arnold (8/5): Great spot for our family to stay while exploring Tokyo. - Great location on quiet street but easily accessible. Very clean and modern space. Easy self check in and check out. 3 toilet rooms and separate shower/bathroom was great for our family of 4 (adults). The living space was quite cool when we arrived and we were not able to get it up to a warm temperature for the 2 days we were there in December (2-12C outside temp at the time). Not a problem for us necessarily as we are from Canada and don't mind it a bit cooler. I imagine it could be an issue for others and that's why I mention it. The sleeping area had a separate heater unit and had no issue warming the bedroom. There are steep and winding stairs to the living area which may be an issue if you have any mobility issues. Again, this was not an issue that negatively affected us.
• Ibrahim (6/5): Not happy - Spacious Location is far from station if you are carrying luggage. Furniture are old, you can feel the spring while sleeping on the bed. House was not clean properly. The drying rack provided already broken. No place to hang coat. As owner should know the place rent out is for 6 people.

• Mae (10/5): Overall great stay - The place was accessible through bus. Amenities were complete, there was a washing machine, kitchen appliances like microwave, refrigerator, toaster, rice cooker, coffee maker (we didn't use the coffee maker so not sure but I think you'd need to bring your own filter, sorry didn't check if there was a washable one). There were cups, plates, utensils, pans, bath towels, hand towels, toothbrush soap, shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing and laundry soap were also available. Place was near Maruetsu (supermarket), Muji and drugstore. Convenience stores are also within walking distance. You can walk get some air in the park in front of the place. Property was a bit off from the station but very accessible through bus. Unfortunately the bus would only travel until 10pm so if you are planning to stay out later than 10, be prepared to walk. Should be just 11 mins walk according to Google maps but since we had a toddler, who did not like walking, it could be a bit of a challenge. What I specifically did not like was receiving scam messages saying my booking was not confirmed which was a source of stress for me. This was before the schedule stay so it really got me worried. Booking.com should make sure to strengthen their security as this could really make me rethink using the platform again.

Having a bottom flow and a second floor made it very easy for kids go to bead first and we could stay chafing/planning next day. No complaints

An acceptable distance of walk from JR station for 15-20 mins but for this prcie, you cannot expect much. It is hard to find a decent house in metro Toyko area with such price. Cleanliness of the facility can be improved because hairs were found on floor when checked-in. There was one bed disappeared and not matching the advertised photo, which the mattress was laid down on the floor.

Before check in, they have send us the details of location, and how to check-in instruction, very attentive and professional. Provided complete household appliances and kitchen utensils. Walking distance 10-12 mins, we always take bus from Ikebukuro station and walk 1 mins again, very convenient. We feel like very cold inside the apartment, even we on the warmer, especially in dining & kitchen area. The pillow are too soft, if able to provide more pillow or bedsheet will be better.

• Z (9/5): Its wonderful house fully equip with basic necessities. - Its easy to access just need a code and unlock the key box. Got all the basic needs in the house and also the condition was great. Nice clean shower, a lot of comfortable bed, homey feeling and clean. The neighborhood also calm n friendly (except for my child that keep on running around and crying :D). The distance its a bit far from train station. The nearest we can get by walking is Ikebukuro Station (exit C6) (850-900m)- need the escalator as we brought our childs stroller with us. Kanamecho Station (550-600m) was nearer but didn't have escalator with it.

It takes 15 mins walk from Ikebukuro Station or 8 mins walk to Kanamecho Metro Station or 2 mins walk to bus station. Ikebukuro station is a convenient station. You can go to other tourist spots easily. The CS staff are very helpful, efficient, and effective. They usually reply to the email within an hour. Their messages are useful and very polite. The last day has been raining heavily, and there were flooding in front of the house. Our shoes were wet. Other than that, everything is okay.

• Michelle (10/5): Perfect location - We really liked the location. It gives the local vibe and not the touristy type, which we really like. The nearest subway station is like a 10-minute walk, which is fine with us. The house/villa is great as well! It was hard to find at the start, but it was not a big deal. Water kettle and rags would be nice to have. .

• Colin (1/5): appalling for the cost - it was clean, staff were friendly but couldn’t help everything else, no comfort what so ever, plastic hard chair and a table and old TV. internet was shocking 1mbps connection, the staff said it slows down at certain times. if the ISP throttles the internet like that they need to change. considering there is no entertainment or comfort the internet should at least work. location is well out of the way. this please is not recommended.
• Panadda (7/5): good for transportation and easy to find food - the place is in town convenient for transportation and food the equipment in the kitchen is very old and not enough to cook such as pan and pot are very small and very old.
• Cynthia (8/5): Good and cozy apartment in quiet location - The size of the house, the utensils, the shower, the beds and living area were good. The hosts are very responsive and allowed us to store the luggage while we roamed Tokyo. There are few coin laundries nearby. Very nice bathroom. There's not enough hangers to wash, the location was a bit far away from Ikebukuro station (16-20 min) or Kanamecho station (10-12min). Toilet downstair was smelling like someone smoking inside.

• Luisa (9/5): Superb - Super centric, amazing location and incredible prize value. Staff is super friendly and willing to help, no matter the hour. House is also fully stocked so no worry if you forget to bring essentials. House has some obvious wear and tear and some things arent as obvious if you dont know how to use them, but staff will help you out very fast.
