Guest Reviews
- Arthur (10/5): Loved It - Lovely friendly people, comfortable room and great food. If you are staying in one of the attic rooms, just be aware that the shower may be hand held as there isn't room for a normal shower due to the slope of the roof. Great view of the castle though!
- Diane (10/5): Would recommend staying here. - Very friendly team, clean, large comfortable room and bathroom. A little dated but well looked after. Had food in the bar which was tasty, freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Breakfast also very good.

- Elise (10/5): - What a wonderful find! We loved staying here and used the hotel as home base while exploring the east and north coasts. Sharon is a wonderful host and the food was also excellent, loved the breakfasts AND our dinners. The little bar is cozy and welcoming, we even enjoyed a wood fire.
- Norbert (8/5): - We got the room with a magnificent view on the train bridge and river, and had dinner, breakfast and a little walk to the castle. We saw an osprey in the vicinity. Little options for walking close by. The lady of the house was very friendly. It turned out to be complicated to get the shower started, a little instruction would be nice

- Marie (10/5): - Loved the relaxed atmosphere. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was excellent. Chose this hotel as a base to explore areas of the nc500 that we didn't have time to see when doing the route and we couldn't have picked a better place. Would highly recommend and we can't wait to go back! Huge thanks to Sheryl, Angus and the staff at the Invershin for being great hosts. X
- Verified traveler (10/5): Brilliant little place - I was there working but I could see why the place attracts so many walkers, fishermen and bike riders, the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Great stay, thanks to all the staff.
