Guest Reviews
- David (10/5): -
- Michał (9/5): Good stay - Perfect loaction - literally in the French Quarter.
Lots of bars, restaurants nearby
The room was really spacious
Rather comfortable beds.
Kitchen equipped with the most necessary stuff. Whole facility needs a little renovation (nothing urgent but in middle perspective definitely yes)

- Connie (8/5): Very nice stay Staff were helpful and friendly. - Close to many attractions and restaurants. The pool is really small and in an awkward area to feel comfortable using it. It is in a lovely courtyard.
- Roquel (9/5): Will be back again. - Location, friendly staff and great ambiance. They didn’t provide daily maid service.
- toree (8/5): Great location, quiet & helpful staff! - Close to everything! Loved Sunday brunch! We had to switch rooms- liked the larger size of second room- it’s the one I thought I had originally booked!
- Roi (10/5): -
- Tammy (8/5): The staff was nice but they don’t communicate with each other. One would tell me one thing and another staff would say - I love the location. Upon arrival the apartment had a smell. The microwave didn’t work and there was no other location to warm up food.
- jardomag (10/5): -
- Ann (9/5): Great value for quiet location in the French Quarter. - Very good location and great kitchen! The 2nd bedroom mattress was hard.
- Tom (8/5): Great location and friendly staff! - The location and staff were great. The units were comfortable. The water pressure was disappointing. Not sure if this is an issue with the whole complex or our specific unit (312). It made getting ready take awhile for three people.
- Svetlana (10/5): My daughter and I loved this hotel. It was more like a small apartment. Perfect for our vacation and we were able to wa - Proximity to restaurants and sight seeing
- adrian (9/5): - Staff.Location Nothing

- Henry (9/5): -
- Lessie (10/5): - The staff was exceptionally warm and helpful.
- Cathy (10/5): Loved everything and will stay again! - Location was great. We were able to walk to almost everything. Lots of good restaurants and bars close by and close to Bourbon and Royal Streets so that was nice. The courtyards were very nice and so appreciated that smoking was allowed there so we didn't have to stand out on the street. Our suite was beautiful, clean and comfortable. All of the staff were amazing and so nice. Will definitely stay here again! No complaints

- Abhishek (10/5): -
- Raymond (10/5): Total gem in perfect French Quarter location - The location is amazing - close walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, but secluded enough for a quiet night sleep. The 1 BR apartment was a perfect size, with a totally furnished kitchen.
- Francesca (10/5): -
- Tim und Christine (8/5): Tolle Lage - Tolle Lage und großes Apartment Die Couch war sehr unbequem. Es war alles eher älter...
- Joseph (9/5): We experienced some of the best hospitality — attentive, friendly, and supported by 24/7 service - The location was incredibly strategic and wonderfully calm, nestled right in the heart of the New Orleans French Quarter. It offered the perfect balance of charm, convenience, and atmosphere. Truly perfect. I cannot think of anything.
- Hannah (7/5): Nice hotel but poor service - Great location. Just away from Bourbon street but no noise. Great little apartment for us with our baby. Perfectly clean and a well stocked kitchen provided washing up liquid, coffee, salt and pepper etc which really helps you to get settled. Huge comfy bed. The staff were a bit useless. We asked for a baby cot at booking, called the day of arrival to confirm, spoke to the front desk to say we didn't have one in the room and by 7pm we had to go down and collect one as still no one had brought one. The wifi didn't work for the last 2 days of our stay which was pretty frustrating. No housekeeping provided during a 5 day stay and when we asked them to empty the bins (as they instructed us to) no one did.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Steps away from great bars and restaurants - Close to everything Nothing …we really enjoyed our stay
- Stephen (9/5): A lovely accommodation on the edge of the French quarter with everything you need for a break in New Orleans . - We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our needs . Fridge freezer , washing machine drier , dishwasher , hob etc were all made use of . The location is perfect on the edge of the French Quarter . Sunday breakfast and Tuesday cheese and wine were nice touches . The architecture and style are lovely eg the pool courtyard . There was some noise from an outside generator that made it difficult to sleep in one of the bedrooms .
- michelle (9/5): The staff was lovely, locations was perfect . The room was a great size - Quarterhouse was in a perfect location. Right in the French quarters , near canel street and not far from the water front The sofa bed wasn’t the best
- ozan (4/5): - Location is central. Staff is super helpful and kind. Hotel has a “vibe” Both rooms we stayed at were not so clean and very old. We needed to change our room because there was a cockroach in the room. We were staying with a one year old who wants to be on the floor all the time so we immediately asked them to change our room. We got a smaller room without washer-dryer which had an off smell.
- sherrie (10/5): - Location No onsite parking
- Barbara (10/5): Wonderful - The room was adorable. Good location. We were able to walk to our favorite places! The Sunday brunch which was included was nice. The man in charge was delightful! And we went on the included walking tour too. Tim was a great guide!
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Ruth (8/5): Nice place, staff great, perfect location. - Good size and great location. A real bonus to have a washing machine and drier. There was nothing I didn’t like.
- Jennifer (10/5): So happy we found this hotel! - The check in process was fast. The room was so spacious and clean. They provided enough rations of in-room coffee. Very close to everything in french quarter. You couldn't hear any noise from other rooms. Kitchen stocked well with plates, cups, utensils. Front desk staff so helpful and friendly with activity suggestions. Parking was $38/day off site but payable directly to the hotel. No negatives.
- Annie (8/5): Great place for a stay in the French Quarter - Location is excellent, rooms were large and comfortable. Noisy in the atrium at night, despite signs saying no noise.
- Marie (8/5): -
- risako (8/5): - Location The bedroom was right next to the alleyway, and you can hear everything.. like drunk people taking care of business kinda everything
- Brock (7/5): Good spot but loud at night - Good location Extremely loud at night
- DINESH CHOWDARY (8/5): - Location, Decor Food
- Richard (8/5): Really a great place and a very good value. - The room was basically an apartment - laundry, full kitchen. Location is prefect, right next to the Mahogany Jazz Club and quieter being a few streets from Bourbon St. Bed was soft, maybe an old mattress.
- Terri-Lynn (6/5): - Clean beautiful rooms.
However very very noisy ... if overlooking street windows non existent.. might as well patched a tent and save a ton of. Money. Didn't sleep.. also lady at front desk wouldn't give us extra coffee. Really. ... and gave a hard time wirh toilet paper. Didn't believe we didn't have an extra roll.. ??? Not a cheap hotel. Wouldn't stay there unless guaranteed no where near front of hotel. Ruined vacation. Screaming music cars beeping. Street sweeping garbage pick up. Cabs ubers beeping went on all night. Like being on bourbon st. Without the fun.. they need to replace the windows.. totally not sealed. Staff. Unfriendly unhelpful... noisy. Windows thin old unsealed. Could hear full conversations on street level while being up several floors like you were right in the conversation..BRUTAL
- John (10/5): -
- Sophia (4/5): - Location is fantastic, right next of tons of things to do. Tubs are amazing in the penthouse, they have jets, the girls were a huge fan. The beds in the room are comfortable and the rooms/penthouse themselves have a very unique and cool aesthetics. Kitchen in the penthouse was very spacious and had all the amenities one could need. The pull-out couch beds were ATROCIOUS. Do not expect to have a good nights sleep on them. For the sake of your backs when booking rooms do not have any folks use the pull out couch beds. We also had to switch rooms halfway through our stay for unclear reasons (seems to be an overbooking issue), we were told we need to switch rooms in advance prior to arriving, however it was after we had already booked the room which we were told was open for the length of our stay at the time of booking.
- Wesner (10/5): - Location and character
- Stacy (10/5): The property was wonderful!! - The property was beautiful. It had a lot of character, was clean, and very comfortable. The location and price were perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and have already recommended to others. Parking was not horrible but not quite as convenient as I would have preferred.
- John&Karen (10/5): Great, will stay many more times in the future. - We are a frequent visitor to New Orleans, my wife is born and raised there. We live a short 5 hour drive and have been to nearly all Jazz Fests and many Mardi Gras and more. This was a happy surprise. Very little.
- Rebecca (10/5): Best place we have stayed so far! - The staff was friendly. The location was perfect for everything we planned on doing. The rooms were nice, clean and very spacious for 6 people. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. It was a fantastic stay.
- Olga (10/5): -
- Sylvia (10/5): Perfect weekend with besties! - Location, location, location!
Attentive staff, spacious room with full equipped kitchen, complementary coffee.
Plus: they offered a free breakfast on Sundays🙌 Everything was good
- Yana (9/5): - Great location, nice apartment. There was no cleaning during the stay, very loud at night.
- Ferraiuolo1981 (8/5): New Orleans - Posizione centralissima a pochi minuti a piedi dalle principali attrazioni della città
- Julia (8/5): Gorgeous stay but noisy. - The property was gorgeous! Our room was huge and very comfortable. And the space was super clean. Also shout out to Lawrence at the front desk he was super helpful and super nice. The only issue we had was we could hear everything happening on the street. Which is understandable because the hotel is in the middle of quarter. Also the breakfast was less than impressive.
- cedric (8/5): -
- Teresa (10/5): Wonderful. - The location was great. Customerservice was great. Parking
- Mark (7/5): -
- Sylvain (7/5): -
- Valérie (8/5): -
- James (9/5): -
- Jared (9/5): -
- Terri (10/5): lovely little courtyard and pool - great set up great location nothing
- Trentani (5/5): - Il divano letto scomodissimo e neanche preparato al mio arrivo
- Derrick (10/5): Great stay - Everything Nothing
- John (10/5): The room is great and the staff is always amazing. Wont stay anywhere else. - Location and Great staff. Nothing

- Kelly (10/5): I had an unexpectedly wonderful time in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, my new favorite place! - I was very happy with my first stay in New Orleans. I wanted to stay somewhere that felt like home — a place where I could make my own breakfast and really experience the culture of the French Quarter — and this stay checked every box. One suggestion I have is that it would have been helpful to have the option to order groceries ahead of time and have them delivered to the room before arrival. An online ordering option could save guests time and make the stay even more convenient.
It was a bit difficult to find a nearby grocery store, and I ended up going to Walgreens to pick up a few essentials. Having a grocery delivery option would definitely enhance the overall experience.
- Victor (10/5): -
- Ruth (10/5): Great location, nice hotel and lovely staff. - We had Room 404. Small apartment.
£180 a night during Mardi Gras which seems very reasonable.
Double bedroom and living area with a comfortable metal frame sofa bed. The very comfortable.
Kitchenette with coffee machine, hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, fridge, freezer, lots of crockery and cutlery.
En-suite bathroom via living area and bedroom with large shower. Lots of towels. Hairdryer. Spare loo rolls.
Large flatscreen TVs in both the living area and bedroom.
Iron and ironing board.
Bedroom had a small wardrobe with hangers and loads of drawers in the dresser and bedside cabinets.
Ideal location- minutes from everything. Streetcars 4 mins away on Canal Street.
Bourbon Street 4 mins away.
Meet up point for walking tours 10 min walk
Mississippi Boat 12 mins away
Nearest Walgreens 3 mins away
The hotel staff very very nice too :-) Nothing!!! It was great.
I know some people have complained about the lack of housekeeping, but we found this preferable. And you can always ask for new towels, bin emptying, etc.
There wasn’t a kettle in the kitchenette but I’m sure one could be provided if asked for.
Also there wasn’t any noise disturbance at all!
And this was during Mardi Gras!
- RONALD (8/5): We had a great time, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff was excellent. - The location and the staff were both exceptional! It’s a perfect place to explore New Orleans from and the staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There isn’t a cleaning service available. They will bring fresh towels and linens and grab the trash if you call and ask, but there isn’t a formal cleaning service even upon request.
- Kent (7/5): Great value and location - Great value and location. The room was clean and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen is nice to have. Our room was dark. There was only one window and the AC units were right outside it.
- Gerald (9/5): - Great location nice suite with dining table couch very secured helpful staff
- Michael (10/5): NOLA During Carnival Season - Quarter House staff were always friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and filled with charm. It is an old hotel with a number of quirks, so if you want new and shiny, this is not thr place for you.The room was extremely quiet despite parades being just a few blocks away. The location is convenient to so many places, especially the parades on Canal and Royal Street. Loved this second stay.and will always check to see if there is an opening when visiting New Orleans! It's important to get clear directions from the front desk how to get to your room. I thought we did, but it took us a few tries to get there. It was a little frustrating after flight delays and such, but the room was worth it! Hotel staff made it up to us. It was hard to tell if the room would have one bathroom or two. Our group could have used two for sure, so make sure to clarify ahead of time as some rooms have one and others have two. We used the lobby bathroom as our number two. It was always clean and a short journey away....

- Dr_Ronnie_Pace (4/5): Everything was good except and until... - It was a basically comfortable and clean place to stay in a very old part of the French Quarter. The beds were comfortable and they were not real tall, but not like you fall into the bed, either. The pillows were the best! Thick and fluffy instead of thin and fluffy. I was worried that I would be cold in the room as it is New Orleans, but the days I stayed it was between 25 and 35° everyday for the week. Still, while the covers on the bed were adequate enough, they did have extra covers and blankets in the closet. That was nice. The kitchen was great! Full size refrigerator, full size sink, dishwasher, nice counters and cabinets and completely furnished with plates, cups, saucers, and silverware. There were no cooking pots or anything like that available, but I had brought my own just in case. The TVs are not very big and seem a little outdated, but there was one in the living room and in the bedroom, both easily seen from wherever you were in either rooms. The bathroom was nice although the shower wasn't very strong and the water pressure was weak. It took forever for the hot water to show up. But once it did, it seemed fine. The toilet was of adequate height so you didn't feel like you fell into the toilet when you sat down. Some people think that's important.
For the most part, the staff were nice, The check-in was easy, parking was easy enough for that area as one cannot expect it to be simple. It's the French Quarter in New Orleans. Parking was much cheaper than other hotels. I paid around $35 a day compared to $65 a day of other hotels for the same level of concierge parking.
The proximity to really good restaurants and food is great! Even for a handicapped individual. Here's where the hotel lost a good review...
The very first day, I found a worm on my knee. Sitting on the couch, I felt something very light and wet fall onto my bare knee. I looked at it and it was a live, very small worm. Google identified it as a Indian meal moth worm. Obviously, these are very common and households and hotels, but they quickly grow into moths and fly everywhere. See the pictures below. There's really not anything anybody can do about it. They could sweep the ceiling, fog the room, etc, but it's not like they could get rid of it quickly. Kind of gross. Again, is it a New Orleans thing? I don't know. The reviews do talk about bed bugs, but I did not find any evidence of this as I did bring a blue light to make sure I did not have those in my room. But it is a pest and it was disappointing. Yes, I contacted hotel staff. They said they would take care of it. I never saw any indication of that.
The cable TV didn't work. They promised the amenities of TV and they don't have anything to watch. Nothing.. If the cable TV is out, there is no TV at all. My entire stay had no TV. So, I purchased a fire stick for $20 from Amazon and had it there in one day. So, why not just go outside and experience the French Quarter? I was there for a conference, and I'm from New Orleans so I'm very familiar with all the touristy things that I'm really not that interested in. Even still, there's always that time you just want to lay back in bed or on the couch in the living room and just chill out or rest. Sometimes TV is a really nice option and one that I typically expect from any hotel I stay at. Of course, they were pleasant with I'm sorry and will try to get it done by tomorrow... And the next day... And the next day... And I do realize that it's not always their fault, but there should be a backup plan.
If your handicapped, it's going to be very tight.
- Knud (9/5): Very central - Very central and near to the buzz at French quarter. Our apartment was huge. The cleaning was lacking when we got the apartment, and cockroaches were under the bed and in the kitchen - both dead and alive ones. The staff should learn to smile and say hello to the guests.
- Susan (7/5): Pleasant stay in a good location. - The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The 2 bed/2 bath apartment with kitchen was spacious and appropriately appointed. While the apartment was clean, it was slightly shabby and could use some updating. Both of the toilets would not fill automatically, and you had to jiggle the handle. The carpet was dingy and needed replaced.
