Guest Reviews

- Marta (9/5): - Una bella villa libeety Ambiente antico, quindi …niente ascensore
- Silke (10/5): -

- Sandra (8/5): - Lo stile liberty
- Giorgia (9/5): Molto soddisfatta - Bella struttura dal sapore antico, camera spaziosa e bagno comodo, letto abbastanza confortevole. Parcheggio in struttura, personale disponibile ed efficiente. Ci tornerei volentieri.

- Lorenzo (9/5): Colazione super!

Sconto per farsi perdonare dei disagi Già all'ingresso un "odore" nauseabondo proveniente dalla cucina del ristorante e che arrivava fino al secondo piano;
mancanza di ascensore non menzionata nella prenotazione;
presenza di ragni ed altri insetti non identificati in camera anche se prontamente rimossi dal personale;

- Skald (4/5): Disappointing with misleading website. - We visited as part of a walking holiday for 2 nights. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and it was like an unwelcoming Marie Celeste. No one to welcome us other than the cleaner who showed us to our room. The ambiance was not as described on their website - the garden that is mentioned is not part of the hotel but across a busy road next to a cafe - not inviting and very small. The room was basic and set up as twins rather than a double. On a very hot day the air conditioning in the whole hotel was not working - resulting in a very uncomfortable night. The local area is a magnet for youths on motor bikes Erving engines continuously. Breakfast was adequate and we were never asked if we wanted to dine there or shown a menu. On the first day no one was around to put up the large umbrellas at the front - there were no cushions on the seats. This was rectified for the second day. Still no air conditioning and no apology other than saying it was cooler so wasn’t needed - this in early June. A more comfortable night with windows and shutters open - so lots of noise from the bikes and café over the road. No effort to make the place inviting. Two small sachets of shampoo and 2 of shower gel for 2 nights after walking all day - not even a small bar of soap!. As a positive there was some bottles water in the fridge. By far the most disappointing hotel of our holiday.
- Roberto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yvonne (9/5): Would definitely stay here again. Scenic views and helpful staff, home made cakes -
- picasso176 (4/5): Disappointing Tielo - We stayed 2 nights in Villa Lussana as part of a walking holiday with Headwater who booked the accommodation. Maybe it was an "off " period for the establishment but we had an unsatisfactory experience. The views were good from the second floor room but the bathroom was tiny, the bed blanket had an unclean feel, the breakfast limited with tinned fruit and I got an unwashed plate. The accommodation had faded grandeur or put another way needed refurbishment. There was no bar or restaurant so a b&b not a hotel. The only staff person we met was unfriendly.
- Oksana (10/5): Amazing hotel with a stunning view - During the week, our reservation at another hotel got canceled, and we accidentally stumbled upon this one. As a result, we were incredibly impressed and thrilled that we ended up in this hotel. The room had a balcony with a stunning view, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We were genuinely surprised that we were almost the only guests in the hotel, which made it truly unique. There is a restaurant at the hotel, also with an incredible view. We opted for the tasting menu, and the chef and team expertly paired it with a selection of wines from local wineries.
Overall, it was the most amazing experience. We wish the staff all the best, and we will definitely come back again!
- Steveandhelen53 (10/5): A lovely hotel in a pretty village. - This was the best hotel we had in our 8 day cycle tour of the area. We were made welcome and shown to a really smart and quite large bedroom with the most magnificent views of the small town and the surrounding hills, really beautiful.
The room wasn’t fancy but it was comfortable, clean and individual, quite a boutique feel to it. Nice and quietly classy.
There is a very smart restaurant which is part of the hotel, it has a most interesting but quite expensive menu. We ate at a lovely trattoria just down the road which was a lot cheaper.
A decent breakfast, good coffee, croissants, fruit etc in a light and airy dining room.
A most enjoyable two night stay, would highly recommend the accommodation and we’d love to come back one day.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alessandro (9/5): Superb -
- Magdalena (9/5): Superb - Fabulous. Fantastic view. Historic villa arranged with love for detail.
- Douglas (10/5): A hidden gem that is an exceptional value with excellent dining! - Truly a gem of a place! Secluded facility tucked away in the hills of Teolo. Exceptional value with a fantastic restaurant. Very quiet and charming with large air conditioned rooms. Beautiful front patio with a bar made for a perfect pre-dinner happy hour. We were not aware that reservations for the on-site restaurant were required so we almost had to go out somewhere else. Luckily they managed to fit us in! Dinner was excellent, just remember to get a reservation when you check-in to your room.
- Y375FKmikeb (8/5): cycling trip to the region - Marko and Micheala are now running the hotel, the resurant is excellent, and the views from the hotel are stunning. Marko gave my wife and I a very warm welcome, out room was a good size and well appointed. the only down side was that it is need of some TLC. which MArko is getting around to. the brother and sister team have only been in for a few months, and have plans for improvement. well worth a visit.
- SuzandBerg (10/5): Beautiful and charming in every respect - We were on holiday with Headwater Hoiidays in this smashing area and one of the hotels we stayed at was this super place in Teolo. You can catch the bus to Padua from there as well.
An elegant and well appointed place and they are adding more rooms. The dining is exquisite and all rooms are comfortable, charming and have the best views.
If you talk with the young owners, they will help you with anything you might need,
- foxurs1 (8/5): Very comfortable hotel, great location. Pity about the restaurant food which is too fancy and all in Italian - We were on a hiking package and stayed for two nights. The location in the centre of Teolo is great and you can take the bus into Padua. The place is run by young brother and sister. The adjacent restaurant serves a complex taster menu which is not translated into English or other languages. Wines incl. local ones are pricey. Since the hotel is used by walkers and cyclists the nouvelle cuisine is too fanciful and the restaurant was empty even at weekends. Breakfasts are good and the views over the Eugenian Hills stunning.
- N5408ZImichaelh (10/5): Villa Lussana a closely guarded secret - This family owned hotel is beautiful. The rooms with a balcony overlooking the surrounding hills & countryside is breath taking. The food & drink a gastronomique delight & the presentation a work of art. The warmth & level of service to please the customers every whim was so pleasing. The lively tiny village square was entertaining. We would recommend this hotel & the region 100 percent.
- MauriceTangredi (8/5): Friendly owners, great location and views - We stayed overnight at Villa Lussana and really enjoyed the warm and friendly welcome from Letizia and Alessio. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was typical Italian with cereals, juices, cold cuts, cheese and a selection of cakes. Highly recommend this beautiful Hotel, the attentive staff and location.
- 85tanjag (10/5): The best view and friendliest owners - We popped into this hotel quite unexpectedly. Fortunately we could stay with our three children. The rooms are super romantic, but with very good bed and view to the mountains. All that you need is there and hostess recommends places to visit nearby.
- Cerisy2 (10/5): A Real Gem - We stayed for a week at Villa Lussana and really enjoyed the friendly welcome, the comfortable and clean bedroom and, most of all, the wonderful food. Our hosts balanced running a hotel and restaurant with managing a family of two small boys and they do it very well! At times we felt part of the family, which added to our enjoyment. The breakfasts were typical Italian sweet foods - different, but fine - and the evening dinners were some of the best meals we have eaten! Oh to be able to cook like that!
We visited Venice for a Free Walking Tour and a long boat trip. Another day was spent in Padua. For remaining five days we walked in the magnificent hills around the hotel. Some of the walks - well documented in the leaflets in the hotel - were pretty challenging but the views from the tops were stunning and getting back to the village for a beer and ice-cream in the adjoining bar made it all worthwhile!
A wonderful holiday and one we will be repeating.
- Lolii (8/5): Beautiful views - Quirky hotel with beautiful views, unfortunately near to a fairly noisy road, but the views make up for it. Very basic Italian breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open for dinner(Thursday night end of July), but seems to be highly rated. Everyone was friendly especially their dog Scott. Our room was spacious and very nice, we enjoyed our stay here.
- robini (10/5): Warmest welcome we've had in Italy. Superb food. - One of four hotels we stayed in in the Veneto over 8 days. By far the warmest welcome we received (and the others weren't bad) was here despite the fact that the two young owners had two kids under 3 to cope with. We felt like part of the extended family when we stayed here, with lots of smiles. Great location above the village with lovely views to the hills. Superb food served on the terrace if warm (it was) or in a very smart dining room if not. The onion cake with ice-cream, served as a starter on our first night, sounds as if it should be horrid but was honestly the best dish I've eaten in several years - anywhere. Other options were more mainstream but also excellent.
We had the cheapest room in the house, in the attic, which was quirky but fine. Other rooms - where our friends were staying - looked gorgeous. Italian 30s chic.
- rachelh667 (10/5): Fantastic food - We had two nights on our walking tour. The evening meals were sumptuous and the choice included Sicilian specialities. It was great to eat dishes that had been described in the Montebano novels. There was a terrace with great views to relax on once the walk was finished. Breakfast good too. Well worth a visit.
- 683rossc (10/5): Super hotel and fabulous food. - We stayed at the villa Lussana on a cycling holiday arranged by Headwater holidays.
The hotel is lovely.
The evening meals were absolutely superb. Imaginative and full of flavour.
Can't recommend this hotel enough.
- HovePrawn (10/5): Walking holiday - Absolutely beautiful villa tastefully restored (wood floors, dark wood furniture). Rooms very large (ours had views in two directions). Charming hosts and glorious food with a touch of Sicily. Beds very comfortable with proper pillows!
- annerob10 (8/5): Very welcoming couple with great food - Had 2 nights here as part of our walking tour.
Tiziana and Allessio were very welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant.
Allessio is a great chef and many dishes had a great Sicilian twist which was a nice change.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Would definitely stay here again.
- Pa0l0ZZ (10/5): Excellent - Excellent small hotel with nice views. Real, friendly, competent family management. Excellent restaurant. Sicilian chef (great cannoli, the very best!). Unique breakfast with fantastic pies. One small problem: bathrooms too small.
