• Josh (9/5): A great place to stay with a couple of caveats that may effect some people's experience. - Great location a walkable distance to everything you want to see in Kanazawa. Very clean and comfortable space with everything to make it feel like home. Great amenities for children if you happen to have any with your group. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, a bit scary to navigate when carrying luggage. I banged up the back of my feet a bit on them. Some confusing messaging on the listing where it says "The property is adults-only, providing a tranquil environment.", but the property has many toys, a baby gate, and pictures of children in the property. The guest welcome packae makes it clear that children are welcome in the property. While it was stated in the listing that quiet hours are from 16:00 to 23:00, the extent of this was not made quite clear enough. There is a restaurant below the bedroom and the guest info provided on check-in makes it clear that any significant movements [ahem] in the bedroom are heard by all in the restaurant, and they tend to complain to frequently that a cell phone has been placed in the bedroom that the owner uses to call you if they receive a complaint.

The host is timely and lovely, the location is fantastic (at walking distance from all primary touristic attractions) and the apartment is incredibily clean and spacious. Also, lovely decorated! Nothing, we had an amazing time
• Madeleine (10/5): Perfect home away from home - The perfect home away from home for myself, husband and toddler. Everything a family needs - very comfy beds, great kitchen and living room, plus things for a toddler including toys, high chair, kids toilet seat. Loved staying here and also cooked for ourselves quite a bit (which was a nice break from eating out at restaurants). Nothing, it was perfect.

• Michelle (10/5): comfortable space, great vibe. - This property is great. Lots of room and a lovely layout. You have to be careful not to make too much noise in the bedroom at night as it is above a restaurant and they call a phone if you make too much noise. This was a bit tough with kids - so if you have really rowdy children, be warned!
• Sze Ling Maggie (10/5): - A little nice gem in the heart of Kanazawa. It's hard to believe the building was over 100 years old. Great job on the renovation. The entire suite was great for family and perhaps a group of friends. Hugh and well stocked kitchen on 1st floor, large tatami bedroom and a cozy living room on the 2nd floor. The suite was clean and extremely functional, just like staying at someone's home. Love that there were two toilets, one on each floor. A bathroom with tub was also found on 2nd floor so we basically hung out on the 2nd floor after meal. Couple things to know before you book this suite: there's a small and steep stairway. Might not be a good option for someone who's 6 feet+ with bad knees; The tatami bedroom is right above a small french restaurant, so visitors are asked to keep noise low (including foot steps) at night while in the bedroom. Not an issue for us and we truly enjoy our stay there. Parking: there's a small paid parking lot right across the house. it was 200 or 300 yen for 20 mins, and max 700 yen for 24 hours. Pay by cash or card (via QR code)

• Katja (10/5): Cool place for a family stay - This is a really cool space, we felt immediately at home. Great kitchen with all amenities and a big table/workspace when you come in; upstairs a cozy living room with lots of books and the bedroom with tatami mats. Highly recommended!

• Vered (10/5): 2 nights in Kanazawa - Lovely 2 floors apartment, very comfortable and spars, so nicely decorated and very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay there. The only lack is that the stairs to the upper floor are narrow and steep. The owner is nice and helpful, he offered us to send our luggage. He is always available for phone calls ( no WhatsApp). You can also reach him by mail.
