El internet funcionó todo el tiempo, el departamento está súper lindo decorado, se encuentra en una zona cerca a restaurantes y segura para caminar. Alberto kindly stayed up to welcome us when we arrived at 2:30 am. The area has many restaurants and stores. We could hear traffic noise and loud music from the street below despite being on the 14th floor.

Central for all tourist things in Quito. - This property was a stunning location to have as a base for my partner and I to explore Quito! It is so central and only a short fifteen minute drive to the main historic centre. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a two minute walk that will cater to anyone’s food interests. The property itself was luxury to say the least and it felt as though we were staying in a presidential suite! The owners are a lovely couple and were so hospitable to us, welcoming us into the home with open arms as soon as we arrived. They did not hesitate to help us with our queries on what to do and gave us excellent recommendations that turned out to be immensely beneficial to the activities we took part in. Our bedroom was comfortable and they always gave us our own space wherever we were in the house. The views of the surrounding mountains and city were breathtaking also and it was delightful to sit and look out while we planned what we were going to do each day. 10/10 would recommend this stay to anyone. If I ever return I will refuse to stay anywhere else other than the Penthouse Lodge B & B! Cannot complain about a thing. Everything was absolutely fantastic!

Alberto and Helena were super helpful and able to provide great advices on what to do in the city. The location is great and really easy to be picked up by the tour guides and the neighborhood has many good restaurants around. No major comments as I think our stay was great but I would have loved some more variety on the breakfast and over the weekend the street can be a little loud. Nothing that would impact the experience.

• Matthew (5/5): Not what we paid for, Rooms are not noise proof, Slightly outdated and no Netflix - The Views Were Amazing & The location was Great, The hosts were very kind. The photos that were taken give the accomodation a more premium feel than what you experience in person, The rooms are not sound proof, as we heard our neighbours talking quite abit aswell as the hosts in the hall way. The Curtains and bed board were old and almost broken with cuts and tears that you did not see in the photos. The cupboards to store your clothes had Old bags & Clothing left behind by previouos guests. The Breakfast was quite basic and offered stale bread & a bowl of fruit with coffee. We paid $167 for three nights which is quite expensive and you would think that for $160 your room would atleast have netflix and a new TV. The wifi only works in the bedroom and not in the dining area ( I was not able to do any work on my laptop ) The work desk in the bedroom is too small to hold your laptop. Overall, the accomodation is overpriced and needs to honour the facilitites that are advertised.

• Michelle (10/5): Fantastic stay in Quito! - This B&B was in a perfect location for finding restaurants and other amenities. The view was amazing; you look out over the hillsides of the city and can see the Cotopaxi volcano on a clear day and the TelerefiQ cable car. The bedrooms were spacious. Breakfasts were perfect with fresh fruit and rolls. Elena and Alberto were so friendly and helped us with dinner recommendations and suggestions for museums to visit. They really helped make our visit to Quito so much more meaningful. Alberto even helped me with my efforts to learn Spanish. So very happy we stayed here!

• Elizabeth (10/5): Beautiful views and charming hosts -- close to everything - The owners and the view are the two best reasons to stay here. Big windows overlook the city and on a clear day you have a great view of Cotopaxi. Alberto and Elena are charming. I left feeling like they were a dear Aunt and Uncle (although they're not old enough to actually be that to me). The decor is very attractive and welcoming. Lovely continental breakfast provided in the dining room each morning. Fresh fruit and baked goods, coffee or tea, juice, good butter & jam. There are only two rooms available for guests (which is great). I stayed in the smaller of the two which was fine for just me but when I return with my spouse, I'll want the larger room.
