- Verified traveler (6/5): - The property is perfectly located, 5 minutes to the Old Town. I stayed in the room with a balcony, which was great to have, however on the street directly next to the building, there was construction happening, pretty much all day- so sitting out on the balcony was not tranquil. The room was clean, but bedding is old and cheap. There was no shower gel- I had to go and buy some. I stayed there in August, it was hot, the apartment got very warm if the windows were shut (and also let a lot of bugs in when you had the windows open). The apartment is directly next to a main road that seemed to be used to drop people off/pick people up at all hours of the day and night- if you are a light sleeper, this might be hard for you. There is a big gap between the curtains and the windows, letting a lot of light in, especially in the morning (again, if you are a light sleeper, this might not be good). All of these things are manageable, however the apartment smelt- I cannot put my finger on exactly what it is, it was a nutty, overpowering kind of smell (mould or excessive smoking previously), that hits you every time you enter the flat. I would open all the windows and doors and get the fan going, and this worked (or I just got used to the smell). On return, all of my clothes, bags, etc. absolutely stink- even the clean ones, everything had to be washed thoroughly to get it out. All in all, this was OK but I probably wouldn’t stay again.
