donna (6/5): - It was clean and good check in. I found my room very small with a tiny shower. I have an open window at night which was very noisy and bright lights shining in the room. The bed was hard and not comfortable.
Francis (8/5): - Lovely room and bed but old building with beams and I’m 6 foot 2 and had to stoop a bit. Quirks of an ancient building. Located in the heart of Bridgnorth and great views of the river only a few steps away.
Gemma (8/5): Great stay, great location, good value, fab staff. - We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food smelt nice. Breakfast was lovely, good choice, very fresh and good quality ingredients. Beds were extremely comfortable and pillows were great.
Gurdeep (4/5): - Staff were polite and provided a good service. The reception and bar area was okay, however, the room we had was in a poor state, in desperate need of a full renovation. The bathroom was tiny with no sink, that was in the room behind the door. The shower was terrible, in bad condition and no water pressure. From pictures online, I think there may be other rooms that are newer, but room 14 is not one of them. In its current state it’s not worth paying for.
donna (10/5): Best of 2025 - I want to say thank you to Louisa and her team at the Falcon for making us so welcome. I feel we found a Gem in both the accommodation and the staff at the Falcon. I stayed in the Stables which is a small apartment and certainly worth the extra money. (treat yourself its very spacious) We had an excellent breakfast I had perfect poached eggs and my colleague had very fluffy pancakes which they gave him a double portion. Cant wait to return :)

Parking is behind the hotel. Ensure you have carpark postcode as we didnt have email confirmation of our booking, so carpark was awkward to find in one way system. Had a lovely stay though. Lovely weather, lovely town.

Alison (6/5): Drain Smell - The staff at The Falcon are extremely helpful and friendly. The Indian restaurant good value. Breakfast was average. However we left after our first night (two nights booked) because the smell in our room unbearable (drains) which they had tried to mask with air freshener which made it worse. The bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen and again the smell coming up through the plug holes was awful. The room was large but bed was uncomfortable and had a feather duvet which for allergy suffers was a no go.

Lisa (10/5): Great Central Hotel with amazing Restaurant - Really nice modern hotel and Restaurant. Very easy to find in lower town and an ideal base. Free parking at the back, just behind a sweet courtyard for outside dining/drinking. We were greeted by Jonathan who was really friendly and attentive and showed us to our room. We were staying overnight as we were attending an event at the Rugby club just down the road. We'd heard good things about the Thalio Asion Street food restaurant in the hotel, we checked out the menu and boy it didn't dissapoint! Superb food and service. Lovely breakfast to order was included. Bar and restaurant were lovely and finely decorated for a cosy drink. Our double room with sofa was spacious and clean. A great overall experience. Would highly recommend the Falcon and Thalio restaurant and would definitely visit again when in the area.
Lisa (6/5): Overpriced for a very basic room and breakfast - We stayed at the Falcon for one night. The Hotel is tastefully decorated, but our room was very small. The bed was shorter and narrower than a standard double and the furniture small in order to squeeze it into the available space. I thought the room was overpriced. At breakfast the staff were pleasant but the food was very basic and the selection very limited.

Laura (6/5): - Hotel is lovely. Unfortunately needs some adjustment. There is no curtains, so you are awake as soon as its light. Would obv be worse in the summer when its light at 5am. We had a room on the front of the hotel, there is a drain cover that bangs each time a car goes over. Something that should be looked at. Also the room was very dark were the mirror was, we had to move the light so we could get ready. I asked on arrival the bar closure time. The kind receptionist said 10.30. The email that was sent to us 2 days prior to check in says 12. Apart from that. Lovely

Liam (2/5): Toilets like a diesel generator - I assume Room 15 is the worst in the hotel. The big issue is the macerator toilet. Running either tap for 10 seconds causes a noise like Diesel generator for a few seconds. Flushing the toilet has the same noise longer & louder, like being in a bus garage more than a hotel room. To be fair we saw the funny side, but this room should not be priced as it was. Also black mould in the shower.

It Resturant was a pop up street food Thai which was amazing and very busy for a Wednesday evening. Had a few cocktails at the bar which were very pleasant. Overall this is a little gem of a place 👍

Hotel itself was good, bathroom was a little tied, room itself was reasonable size and had all the facilities required. Breakfast was again reasonable given the COVID issues. Location was very good and handy for all amenities. The decor was excellent and made for a comfortable pre evening drink with reasonable bar prices.parking was just behind the hotel and was inclusive in the price

We had booked B and B and needed to go to an adjacent hotel/ pub which was not 4 star standard. We were unable to use wireless in our room, which was an apartment. Some surface cleaning I think however no washing up of cups / china we had used and did not have bins emptied.
John (10/5): - The hotel room was wonderful, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Shower water pressure variable and interesting but not a problem. Staff I saw were friendly and informative, efficient and helpful. Sign in easy and quick. Only problem is that the restaurant/bar not open due to the pandemic; finding a meal in the evening was not easy and breakfast in the morning in the pub next door was noisy, definitely not social distanced and not very efficient. But would definitely stay there again and with the hotel fully open it will be a wonderful place to stay.
