That room had either cat or dog food spilled on floor between nightstand and a lot behind head of bed. Our dog ate some before we noticed. Told front desk attendant. We were very tired so we blocked off the area so dog could not eat more. Asked next morning about a discount due to inconveniences and was told because we booked via booking.com they could do nothing. Wasn't booking.com's fault. It was hotel cleaning and maintenance.

Maria (7/5): Location was great for our purposes. - It served its purpose for our reason for being there. A few minor issues. 1. The desk chair in our room could not be adjusted. 2. Bottled water dispenser on the main floor wasn’t working. 3. Fire pit outside for roasting s’mores wasn’t working and yet you sold us the fixings for making s’mores knowing we couldn’t make them. 4. Could not adjust the shower head unless you were 6 feet tall.

I have had problems at hotels with having a service animal and the hotel trying to charge me were rude because I had service dog and they were accommodating and great about it. Stonehill was one of the best stays I've had at a hotel ten out of ten.

CHRISWPCO (10/5): Always satisfied with the Stone Hill in Lawrence. - The StoneHill in Lawrence is a very pleasant place to stay. Located away from the interstate, so it is very quiet but near stores and restaurants. The public areas are spacious and clean. It pretty much covers all the bases with a pool, fitness room, bar, sitting areas, and breakfast. The beds are really, really comfortable with pillow-top mattresses and good quality bedding. I recommend it.

677marenb (10/5): Great facility and hotel staff - This was our 1st stay. The hotel looks to be new. The lobby is sprawling, with lots of tables and seating. The lobby has hot and cold drink options including 4 flavored syrups, hot chocolate and popular tea bag brands, available around the clock. Beds were very comfortable. Nice fitness room. Laurie and Ryan were the desk clerks during our stay. Busy with a full hotel, they made us feel we were important enough to give us their full attention in the most congenial way. A great stay!

D9367ULdavidl (4/5): Not impressed - I very rarely rate hotels, but this one needs it. I'm also irritated that Wyndham didn't ask this Gold member for a review, so I'll do it here. This is obviously a fairly new hotel and trying to be a nice one, but we were not impressed. - The shower was a near-useless ceiling mounted thing with minimal water pressure. It was marginally good for getting the top of your head wet, but not much else. I was glad to get home and take an actual shower. - The bathroom door was a loud sliding door that left gaps around the sides of the door. It seemed like a very tacky way to do the bathroom thing. - The breakfast area was very large and impressive, with lots of counter space. But the actual breakfast was a pretty minimal assortment of things you'd find in a cheaper hotel and was very lightly maintained. I'd be much happier a place that focused on doing the basics right.

laurahD8053RG (6/5): Average stay - StoneHill is away from the hustle and bustle enough that it was fairly quiet. The rooms were nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was just above "continental" breakfast quality, but they did have eggs and sausage and (hard) biscuits and gravy. There were 2 things that irked me a bit. The towels were extremely rough and scratchy. Also, the remotes were not your normal TV remotes, so it took some extra work to figure out how to access a roku or chromecast device. Overall it was not enough to keep me away, but a few things they could improve upon.

I didn't like the rain shower head. Not adjustable nor reachable and water pressure was low.

Lobby and corridor floor were not very clean. They advertised a bar with a happy hour. This was shut down because of the excuse that they couldn’t get the bartender to work! Ran out of breakfast items on multiple days (including coffee). Their excuse was that the food manager was too busy doing other tasks. Food selection and variety was very weak.
brianandsusanb2026 (2/5): This Hotel is Unsafe Lipstick on a Pig - After getting hit in the head by the closet bar that fell on my head because it had no center support and was being held up by the ironing board, the cafe/bar that was closed our entire three-day stay (they claim they have difficulty having employees eligible to serve alcohol show up to work), a toilet paper ring that fell off the wall, and a generally complacent staff (we can't do anything about a discount or refund; just get in contact with whomever you booked with), I can't in good conscience skip this review. With a knot on my head, I enjoyed the zero privacy in the bathroom because the barn-style door was short by at least an inch, giving anyone a view of whomever was unfortunate enough to walk by the door :-). This is what you get when Wyndam remodels an old Best Western and puts a pretty facade on the place.. This place is lipstick on a pig. I strongly advise staying elswhere.
Frank (9/5): Excellent value. - Location was in close proximity to I-70. Very clean and quiet. Lots of space in public areas. Very well maintained. Breakfast was marginal in quality.

A5353SAdanm (8/5): New years eve stay - Staff was helpful and friendly. Check in and check out were fast and easy. Hotel was nice and seemed pretty clean. Room was decent but bathroom door and issues and needs to be repaired, closet door smashed my wife's finger but staff gave her some bandages. Not much of a view kind of out of town but good location for us. Decent breakfast and decent stay overall. Will probably stay there again at some point.
Anita (5/5): We had stayed here previous three weeks prior and everything was awesome. - Breakfast is great and has a lot of choices. Our room faced the North and when we opened the door it was freezing. After two hours, it still was not warm and we had the thermometers on 80. Sometime during the night, it finally warmed up. Before that, it was really miserable as it was very cold and windy.
kiloii (4/5): Go elsewhere - Really nice hotel, rooms and beds. BUT I will never return. Most disfunctional facility I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. Motel 6 has better quality. I was overcharged and let me tell you the hassls of contacting and talking to someone to correct. Never again will I be there. Bar closed because busy?? Really!!

Linda (10/5): Have come here several times over the years. - Easy access to pike. Nice neighborhood- good view. Clean but doesn’t smell like soap
