Price was reasonable for - Convenient location, clean, comfortable bed, easy to park, breakfast included. Parking costs $20 extra, even though you aren’t in downtown and you park yourself. Breakfast was included but wasn’t that good, not many healthy choices. But there is a Starbucks just across the parking lot where you can get better coffee. Since we were on the second floor we tried taking the closest stairwell and the door at the bottom was locked! Not sure what we would have done in the event of a fire.

- Jakub (9/5): Modern and clean stay with easy road access - This hotel is a great choice if you are traveling by car because it is very easy to access. The property feels new and is kept very clean. We found the staff to be incredibly nice and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was quite okay and provided a decent start to the day, even if it was nothing spectacular. The location is a bit removed from the main city center, so it is not the most central option for those wanting to explore on foot. Our minor issue was the parking fee. It turned out to be higher than what was advertised on Booking.com. This was a bit frustrating discrepancy to find upon arrival.

- Trisha (1/5): - It was close to the event that I was going to. Check-in was 45 minutes late to get a room, with a reservation!. Room was still dirty from previous tenants. There was a parking fee that we didn't know about and also a $50 fee for security when we got there that wasn't mentioned and if we didn't pay it we couldn't stay. all these things should be mentioned when you book the hotel in advance. Shower at hotel needed repairs. Had Teflon tape on the shower head and the dripping water hitting the metal drain was obnoxious and anxiety inducing.

Then when we were told it was ready we got up stairs the cleaning ladies were still cleaning our room but the front desk told us it was ready. That was not a good start to our stay. - 37mrst (2/5): Employee unprofessional/discriminatory behavior - Some of the staff is very unprofessional. One of the Hispanic workers (Claudis) spoke disrespectfully to guest during breakfast. The worker behaved very poorly during breakfast. She was very aggressive! No establishment should allow their workers to speak with customers in that manner. The worker spoke about Black patron/guests in Spanish to other workers. She began to have conversation out loud with other hospitality staff about the guest in general. If she’s not happy with her job, she needs to find employment elsewhere. This establishment is based on customer service. Customer Service keeps her salary paid. I have watched as they allowed their kids to run around and eat breakfast. The staff is allowed to eat breakfast. However ,they treat the guest as if they’re not welcome to breakfast. The same rude woman allowed staff to come in afterwards to get their plates and she had nothing to say to them. I’m very appalled of her behavior/actions in a public setting. That type of behavior should not be accepted in work environment.. This situation definitely could have escalated to a very serious matter especially with the discriminatory behavior of the worker. Everyone should be treated with respect/ equally. Claudia you’re definitely being called out for your actions and should be reprimanded. We as gas can complain about majority of the staff, not speaking English, making it very difficult for us to communicate about our needs.

My room was very comfortable and I really appreciated that the breakfast included a gluten free muffin, as that's not always the case. I will happily return to this hotel! Nothing. I have no complaints about my stay, this location, or the staff.

- Marissa (10/5): Overnight outing with my daughter - Indoor pool. Although it was a bit chilly, nice facilities. The room was clean and the staff were exceptionally hospitable.

- Chuck (10/5): - this is a good hotel if you are needing something next to Baylor Med hospital. It is a little expensive and they charge for parking in a normal parking lot next to the hotel. The free breakfast was excellent however. When I checked in there was no remote for the tv. The next day I asked again and they stated they would bring one while I was at the hospital. They never did. Not a huge issue but they need to pay attention to small things like that.

The elevator maybe requires a key to go up and after 11 you need a key card to enter. These are seemingly obvious things but would have been nice if it was mentioned at check in. Some of the pillows are also a bit flat. Overall we had a great stay.

- Leana (9/5): Great stay - tasty breakfast! - I loved the breakfast and the spacious dining area on the 2nd floor. It was nice to not be crammed down in the lobby and have space to spread out. The made to order pancakes were a nice touch. Having fresh eggs and fresh fruit was so nice! The room had a nice desk at which to work, we really appreciated that and how comfortable the set-up was. The pillows on the bed in the room were terrible, so thin. I'm allergic to feather pillows and when they brought us different pillows upon request the guy couldn't speak/didn't speak English and couldn't confirm that they didn't have feathers in them. They were marginally thicker at least, but overall this is a great hotel with absolutely awful pillows. There was also no TV remote in our room, but eventually our second night we got one.

- Brandiok (4/5): ehh stay somewhere else - The room was a good size, and the kitchenette was nice. However, there were noticeable paint spots on the window shades. The shower was stained, though it appeared clean, and the elevators were very slow. While I could overlook these minor issues, the real concern was the sketchy environment around the parking lot. I made sure to remove everything from my car to avoid any potential break-ins, and my travel companion and I stuck together whenever we went outside for safety. To top it off, the interaction with the desk clerk was less than pleasant, which added to the unease we felt with the questionable individuals lingering near the back door and parking lot. The room itself wasn't the dealbreaker (full-length mirror would be nice)—it just didn’t meet Marriott’s usual standards (in my opinion). It was the location and the poor interaction with the one staff member that made me regret my choice.
- 538kisham (10/5): Great Choice for a Convention Center Visit - Recently stayed at the Element Dallas Downtown East. This is a great option if you need to be near the convention center, but don’t want to pay convention center prices. It’s about a ten minute ride and Lyft cost around $8-10 each way (if you choose the cheapest option). There is a Starbucks, Chipotle and McDonald’s within walking distance. The closest grocery store is a Supermercado, and I was able to get fresh fruit and Gatorade. The room was great. There was a full kitchen, though I only used the refrigerator. I appreciated the filtered sink water which saved me from having to purchase bottled water for my daughter’s water bottle every day. The bed was super comfy. The shower was fine, but I would have preferred a little more pressure and hotter water. There was no noise from surrounding rooms. Breakfast had a lot of options- hot food, yogurt bar, cereals and breads. On weekends there was a made to order pancake station. There was always fresh water in the lobby. One evening I came back to a cute little tea station. Overall, a good stay and I would choose again if in town for another tournament.

- Leslie (2/5): - As a frequent traveler familiar with the Westin brand, I had high expectations for my stay at Element by Westin. Unfortunately, the experience fell noticeably short of the standards typically associated with the Westin name. From the outset, it was clear that this property lacks the refinement and attention to detail that one expects from a Westin. While the pricing remains consistent with Westin’s premium positioning, the execution feels more budget-conscious than brand-consistent. The accommodations were underwhelming—despite requesting a king-size bed, I was placed in a cramped room with two smaller beds. This not only diminished comfort but also contributed to a sense of disorganization. The in-room amenities further reinforced this disparity. The absence of basic features such as blackout curtains, combined with subpar shower products, gave the impression of cost-cutting rather than comfort. These elements, while small individually, collectively undermine the guest experience and do not reflect the quality and care associated with the Westin name. Overall, Element by Westin feels like a concept that relies heavily on brand recognition without delivering the substance behind it. The label might say Westin, but the experience does not. For the price point, guests are right to expect more in terms of comfort, quality, and attention to detail.

- Janie (10/5): Element hotel stay - Our stay was great. Friendly staff, clean rooms with a beautiful view of the sky lines. Stayed here to attend a Mavericks basketball game. Would consider staying here again. There is only one thing we were not satisfied with. We were looking forward to the indoor pool. My husband and daughter went in and quickly got out. Water was freezing. We figured the pool was heated or at least warm. A hot tub or heated pool would have made the stay a 10.

Coming from Chicago, all I ever ask for is a warm and welcoming atmosphere—and they delivered beyond expectations. Aaliyah, Haneysa, D, Maddie, and Tamara truly went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made my stay unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, they made sure every detail was perfect, always greeting me with a smile and offering help whenever needed. A huge shoutout to this amazing team! They embody what true customer service should be. If you're looking for a place where you’ll feel valued and cared for, this is it. Thank you all for making my stay so special—I’ll definitely be back!
