• Dace (10/5): - Highly recommended! This is a small, family-run hotel. The owners are very warm and kind people. The hotel owner is friendly and always helpful. Excellent location — close to the sea, shops, cafés, and with good transport connections around the island. The rooms are clean and tidy, with everything you need for cooking: a stove and kitchen utensils. Shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, and a toothbrush are provided. Guests are welcomed warmly — they even pick you up from the airport and greet you with fresh fruit! Everything was absolutely positive!💝 A great choice!

• MARIO (7/5): Agradable y limpio, pero un poco ruidoso - Tamaño de la habitación y limpieza. Amabilidad empleados. Nuevo y limpio. Está pegado a la carretera principal, por lo que es ruidoso y se hace complicado dormir. Además del ruido de otros vecinos (tabiques finos y se oye todo) y la música del club de enfrente.
• Grace (10/5): - The room was spacious and clean, the staff were friendly and very helpful, and greeting us with a fresh coconut was a very nice touch on a hot day! The location is perfect, right on the beach and surrounded by restaurants, shops and a couple of bars.
• Aleksandar (10/5): Cosy place, great location - My family and I stayed at the Bulin Residence for 10 days. We absolutely loved the location - across the street from a beautiful beach that felt almost like a private beach, close to a couple of 7-11s, and an amazing outdoor gym right on the beach! The apartment itself is meters off the main road, but very quiet nevertheles. Everything was clean and we alway felt like we are at home. The family that runs the place, puts a personal touch and we felt so cosy and welcome! This is a peacefull and warm budget friendly place that we would recommend to anyone.!
• RENE- JACK (7/5): Séjour reflétant l'image de la résidence sur Booking... - La résidence propose le transport Aéroport-lieu de séjour tant pour l'aller que pour le retour pour 500 baths par trajet (100 à 200 baths moins cher que les taxis). Le lieu de séjour (chambre A4) était prévu pour 3 personnes avec un petit coin "évier" et une table avec une bouilloire électrique, assiettes et couverts, une poële et une casserole, une plaque chauffante. Cette "kitchinette" ne permet pas de cuisiner des plats complets (viande, légumes, etc) mais est suffisant pour se faire des boissons chaudes ou un en-cas comme des nouilles instantanées ou un plat préparé. La TV offre les chaînes thai. Je ne l'ai pas utilisée, préférant l'internet sur mon PC et smartphone. La connexion internet (routeur installé sur ma terrasse) était excellente. Pour le petit déjeuner, il y a un street-food directement sur la gauche à la sortie de la résidence sur la route principale et pour les autres repas (midi et soir) il y a un très bon resto thai pas cher (entre 150 et 200 baths) sur la droite à 50 mètres. Il y a aussi un 7-Eleven , toujours sur la droite, à 100 mètres.. Dans l'ensemble, bon séjour correspondant à la description générale sur Booking.. Le bruit de la route principale, très fréquentée en journée et le soir jusque 22/23h, mais on ne sait rien y faire... Sinon, la résidence et ses occupants sont très calmes. Aucun incident , ni dérangement à signaler. Pour traverser la route et se rendre sur la plage, il est préférable de faire 80 mètres sur la gauche et d'emprunter le passage piéton gardé et protégé par des agents de sécurité de l'hôtel 5* "Outrigger". Sinon, c'est à vos risques et périls !!!
• Eleni (10/5): - I loved staying with them and getting to know them. They are lovely, honest, hard working people and their property is well maintained, clean and spacious. If I could change a few things. Do not allow smoking in the balconies. The rest of us who don’t smoke suffocate with windows open and no one came to Thailand to stay with windows closed. Parking bikes outside people’s entrances is another issue. There were times I didn’t have access to my property especially as I needed to bring my bicycle in because bikes were parked outside. Not to mention the noise and general disturbance from continuous parking in and out as it was right outside the balcony etc. having said that, I would happily return and would be even happier to see some changes taking into account the above. See you soon.

• CORINNE (6/5): Nous étions de passage, la plage de Lamai est magnifique. - Etablissement à côté de la plage, bon restaurant juste à côté (nous étions de passage). Personnel très agréable et serviable Etablissement trop proche de la route très bruyante et un peu excentré. Les lits étaient durs et la climatisation très bruyante et sans climatisation il fait trop chaud pour dormir.

• Anna (8/5): Lovely calm base to enjoy Lamai from. - Lovely welcome in the storm and dragon fruit as a welcome gift was a lovely touch. Very clean and spick and span. Owners kindly looked after luggage after I checked out and brought me to the airport. Nothing really - bed and mattress definitely on the firmer side.

• michele (1/5): Nice but bad manager - The room is bright and big but take care of the position! If it close to the main street you will not sleep all night long. Ask for room on the back. The staff and manager was very rude! She didnt want to change the room and put me in a less noisy one on the back despite there where some still free. After that she didnt talk to me at all for all the vacation.

• Laura (9/5): Cheap and cheerful, I recommend - Nothing bad to say about this place at all! Clean tidy and all the standard amenities you’d need. The host was so friendly and helpful, and they have a cheap laundry service at the property too. Good location, it’s on the quieter side of the island but still plenty to do, lots of restaurants close by and the beach is about a 10 minute walk. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my personal preference but not a complaint!

• Daniel (10/5): Value for money gem 💎 - This place is a value-for-money gem in paradise. We stayed here for a week with our two children. We got a really nice room with a cozy patio, which is very comfortable with two kids. The location is exceptional: lively street with fairly priced restaurants nearby, barber shop just around the corner, 5 minute walk to a free (tip-based) outdoor gym, Lamai Night Market can be reached within 15 minutes by foot (with stroller), beautiful, clean, and kid-friendly beaches nearby, 3 minute walk to 7-eleven. Rooms are clean and the staff welcomed us warm-heartedly. They saw us with two kids and even checked us in 5 hours earlier than planned. Towels could be changed and the floors mopped every other day to remove sand.

We rented a scooter from the landlord, she gave us one with a broken phone mount and then made us pay for it upon return (almost as much as the scooter rental itself). We will not return.

• Kass (7/5): Good - Although basic, it had everything you need It stated that it was none smoking & our neighbour was smoking weed & therefore it made it uncomfortable to sit outside on the balcony. Also no privacy between the balconies. Bed was ok but pillows uncomfortable & they were very hesitant giving us another. TV was useless unless Thai or Russian not that it was a priority but would have been nice when in our room away from the pot smoking neighbour.

Small kitchenette, we had to ask the staff for equipment because there was not a lot, but they always brought it to us and were very kind. Missing quite a lot of stuff for the kitchenette like no sponge, no dish soap and no rags. And the equipment was really the bare minimum.

On our first night there at around 1am I wake up because a huge cockroach was on my face, we turned on the lights and we saw the cockroach walking around in the bed.. it was huuge.. we tried to kill it but it was moving really fast. After a few minutes another one came out and another one and another one.. in total we saw 5 of them.. we were in shock, they were not only big but they could fly short distances… We just couldn’t sleep there.. so we spent the whole night outside checking in booking for another place. In the morning we took our luggage and we were looking for the lady who welcomed us so we can return the key and explain what happened but she was not there. We found a different lady and we tried to explain to her but she didn’t speak English so she called someone (I assume it was the owner of the place) and gave me the phone. When I explained to this man what happened, why we are leaving and that they need to solve this problem for future customers and that we want a refund he started yelling at me.. I asked him to stop yelling and that we have proofs, but he was furious calling us liars and that they never had cockroaches before and that we made this whole thing up.. since he was so rude and he wasn’t even listening to me at all I wished him good day and hung up the phone. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!
• Alessandro (8/5): Peaceful - Very big room! Being cleaned every two days of your stay you can find this stay very comfortable and clean. Air con working good. The room does not have any switch mode so you can leave your battery to charge meanwhile you’re outside Location a little far from the nice spot. Consider to ask a taxi to the host instead using grab because the application accept automatically the drive without letting them to choose if they want or not. You’ll end up losing time. Just ask them to call a taxi, they will be super helpful with you as they did it with us!

• Robertas (10/5): Great and cozy stay in big apartment. - Very close to the beach, many restaurants nearby, great garden views from the balcony. Nice host, apartment was cleaned every second day. Apartment size was also very comfortable as room is really big. We loved staying here, recommend! Poor internet connection, almost all the time we used our personal mobile network as local wifi was unusable.

• Jevgenijs (8/5): Very good - The apartments are good, I stayed there for the second time. They can arrange a taxi to/from airport for you, so you don't need to explain anything. Taxi driver tracks your flight and meets you with a nameplate so it is easy to get there. They meet you and give a key. Good that they have a safety box but for the first time you might have a trouble setting up your code :) The room is big and clean and has all necessary. The room is cleaned up something like once per 3 days, which is enough for me. There are some minuses but for the price you pay this is a good opportunity! The hotel is near the main road so if you are noise sensitive you might have trouble sleeping. Also in my room it seems the window in the bathroom was trembling when the wind was blowing in some direction so that was additional noise. Also the shower head was not really adjustable and it was pouring to the side, not at me :( when you try to change it then turns back to the initial position... so either you take it off fully and orchestrate with your one hand or just stay closer to to side (wall) so that water is actually coming at you... P.S: wifi is not so good and pillows too big.

• Jonathan (9/5): Most excellent accommodation. - The location has almost everything available within walking distance, restaurants for late night dining, hair and nail salons, massage parlors, fresh juice smoothies and vehicle rentals across the way. Laundromat and a 7-11 just a few minutes away.. and lamai beach. The room is bigger than most places available for roughly the same price. With an electric stove top, dishes, toiletries along with blow dryer. A/C works very well, and you also have a regular fan to stay cool. Overall a top choice. Behind the residence, there is construction underway. The noise can be a problem if you wish to sleep later than 9am on most days, but the progress is going smoothly by the looks of it. As of the time of this post, it should not be long before most of the heavy work has been completed.
• Elynn (9/5): Superb - Room was spacious and equipped with utensils for simple cooking. Good location and friendly owners. You can cross the road to get to the beach but it’s not the nicest part of Lamai - however the main Lamai beach is only 10mins walk away. There are many cheap, good local food in the vicinity of the accommodation too Wifi can be a little wonky at times but it might also depend on how many users are connected to it at one point.
• Maria (6/5): Descent place, good value for money. - Good location, value for money is great. The bathroom is very tired, would do great with some update.
• Mirko (9/5): Nice place where to stay also for a long time. Wi-fi was pretty good and the position was perfect - Wi-fi and position The A/C was good but the system was pretty old so sometimes the room was a bit hotter, but nothing too bad (there was also a fan).
