Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): - The stay was convenient and affordable. I would stay again when I need a room.
John,
- Beatriz (6/5): - I like the location of the property. The person that takes care of the property was very helpful. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and washroom, people were smoking inside the building and there was a fowl smell coming into my room throught the vents.
- Aeri (2/5): KEEP THIS IN MIND - The main gate is so hard to find.
I booked a bedroom with a private bath, but they gave me a shared one, which was too dirty to use. I saw millions of curly hair on the bathroom and the bedroom was full of strong curry smell and someone's body odor.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The communication was too rough, there should be a way of email communication
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A small corner tucked away in the edge of China town. The host is very friendly and greeting. In general there are some small problem during check out due to time, but overall it's a great stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not nice - It's so expensive for what the place is, so much noise, unbelievable the washroom, you almost have to poo on the handwasher, and you have not space to take a shower, it was all night with the noise of water, we where afraid that someone could enter in the room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was an inexpensive stay. However, it is quite worn on the interior and the room had a partially finished wall separating our room from a back room. Not a very inviting space.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The bed was amazingly comfy - As with every other incredibly reasonably priced thing in Toronto : the place was small ; but that bed they really didn’t skimp on :)
- Ted (8/5): - Everything was fine. The accommodations are simple but adequate.
- Timothy (8/5): Good inexpensive accommodation in the Toronto anex - I was pleasantly surprised. For the price, it was a good choice. Very clean, bright and plenty of hot water in the shower.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was exactly what I needed quick clean and reasonably priced! It's close to everything and I would definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was safe but the bath room too small to use .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The suite was adequate enough for sleep-in and mattress is not too bad. there is adequate shelving and desk for your storage ends. You ned to be slim and agile to navigate inside the bathroom.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Would never recommend - They wouldnt let me check in my reservation when I got there at 5pm. Check-in is 3pm but another guest wanted to stay longer until 9/10pm. They wanted me to stay at another building outside of the city or wait until after my event. I had no place to get ready for my event at night after I drove all day to get there. I cannot believe they didn't honour my reservation/check in time.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The actual room was comfortable, nice to have private shower. Sometimes it was a little noisy but not terrible. It would have been nice to have had at least a hand towel if not bath towels as.most travellers need to travel light.
Location is excellent for downtown.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location and option for a budget traveler. Hostel like set up.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property didnt even give me a room they just took my money when I was in the cold
- Michael (10/5): Unmatched Value in Heart of Toronto - GREAT value when you consider what you’ll pay for even a one star dive hotel. These apartments are quiet, clean, and close to everything you’ll want to see and do while visiting Toronto.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Had to pick up a key on the sidewalk in a locked container. Booking was for a room in a tiny 3-bedroom apartment on outskirts of Chinatown. Bed was clean and I didn't notice any bedbugs. The rest of the apartment was a bit dirty and the floors were noticeably not swept and the washroom sink had a layer of grime. There was no towel in the room. The room window faces a busy street.
Pros: good neighborhood and close to downtown. Lots of bars and restaurants just a block or two away. Have access to stove, microwave, fridge, a few utensils, and a bathroom shared with one other person. Room had a desk, chair, bed, small side table, and shelf. Public transit routes nearby.
Cons: low security, room window faced a noisy street, could be cleaner.
Overall, check-in and out was smooth, it served the purpose as a place to lay my head, and all went well. Bring your own towel and sandals for the shower floor. Good for a very short stay, someone on a budget, or emergencies.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s cheap. Neighborhood near Chinatown and Kensington.
