Que las puertas tuvieran agujeros en las cerraduras, y que el cuarto del altillo estuviera cerrado. Er was geen Stofzuiger aanwezig om tijdens een langer verblijf te kunnen schoonmaken. Door alle steentjes komt er behoorlijk wat stof binnen.

Muy pocos detalles: Sin plancha para la ropa, ni batidora, tampoco había filtros para poder usar la cafetera, poco menaje, aceite, vinagre, azúcar, una botella de agua…) básicos que en pequeñas cantidades te salvan el momento. Sólo un juego de llaves….

La casa podía resultar algo fría si vas en época con mal tiempo. Por lo general en Fuerteventura siempre hace buen tiempo, pero a nosotros nos coincidió con el temporal y echamos en falta algún radiador
• Marylène (5/5): Maison sans âme et mal équipée en général - Le calme du quartier (mais presque tous les quartiers de Lajares sont calmes…) 6 transats autour de la piscine, et piscine entretenue. Literie confortable. Grande maison, grandes pièces, mais sans âme. Cuisine très mal équipée : il y a un grand four, certes, mais aucuns plats, donc il ne sert à rien. Nous avons bataillé durant tout le séjour avec le peu de vaisselle : pour 6 personnes: 6 verres, 5 petites cueilleres, 6 fourchettes, 6 couteaux qui ne coupent pas, etc…. Et il en est de même pour les ustensiles peu présents, pas de saladiers, pas de plats, et autres. Comment cuisiner pour 6 personnes avec une poêle ridiculement petite ? Juste la taille pour 2 œufs au plat. A l’extérieur, une grande table en fer forgé , mais pas de chaises… Pas de lampes de chevet dans la suite parentale, et une seule dans les 2 autres chambres. Impossible de lire le soir. Éclairage général de chaque pièce de très mauvaise qualité. L’équipement est pire qu’un mobile home dans un camping ! Vraiment dommage… Après réclamation, quelques plats et couverts nous ont été apportés, mais nous avons découvert le sac sur le rebord d’une fenêtre le matin de notre départ…. Dernière chose: porte principale sans poignée extérieure, à fermeture automatique. Et 1 seul jeu de clé. Autant dire qu’il faut éviter les courants d’air si on ne veut pas se retrouver dehors !! D’ailleurs plusieurs avertissements à ce sujet collés à l’intérieur de la maison, avec les risques financiers de remplacement de la serrure. Compliqué à gérer pour une famille de 6 personnes, surtout dans une région ventée !

• Kęsik (10/5): - Dom był duży, przestronny i wygodny. Wszystko czego nam brakowało właściciel nam dostarczył. Spędziliśmy tam dłuższy czas i bardzo dobrze będę je wspominać. Lajares to super miasteczko, wiele fajnych knajpek i sklepów.
• Magdalena (7/5): Overall stay was ok but not sure we will be rushing back. - The property was very specious and a good size pool that was checked and cleaned several times a week. The location of the villas is very good only a short drive into the middle of Lajares to shops and restaurants. It’s great to have a washing machine and a drying rack. The WiFi is not the best and often stopped working, so had to turn the router on & off. We’re lucky not to have noisy neighbours as the villas are very close to each other and you hear & see everything/ everyone. We stayed in a villa number 12, which seemed to have some problems with the water pump and we ended up having no water for short periods several times during our stay. At first it was just the pump fuse ( the property management responded quickly via WhatsApp) but after that it had nothing to do with the fuse. A really disappointing was the fact that the villa’s description says towels included but it’s absolutely pointless as the towels were not functional at all. First of all they smelled disgusting and even more so when being used / getting wet and secondly they were thin and cheap material that didn’t absorb anything. We ended up washing them on the first day and even after that they remained extremely smelly and it was impossible to use them. It was very off putting. I’m sure if given the choice people would happily pay extra to have a clean and decent towels. The general cleaning wasn’t great, one could clearly see that the floors have not been mopped for some time. Unfortunately, we also found the beds very hard and the pillows extremely high/ thick which might suit some people but it’d have been good to have at least a couple of pillows slightly softer, to have a choice. Some windows have got insect nets but some don’t, so you do end up with mosquito bites.

• Alejandro (8/5): Muy bien, recomendado. - Cuando llegamos a la hora programada (15:00), aún estaban las limpiadoras trabajando, así que tuvimos que esperar alrededor de una hora antes de poder entrar. Además, la nevera no enfriaba correctamente y temimos que se estropeara la comida. Por lo demás, todo muy bien: el lugar es tranquilo, amplio y cómodo. Repetiría sin problema.

Lo único que no me gustó ha sido que en las habitaciones habían insectos, en especial mosquitos, literal en la noche te podías encontrar 5 en el techo y otros más por las paredes, salimos picados por todos lados. Si lo llego a saber compro el aparato anti-mosquitos 🤣

Los calderos y la nevera no se pudieron utilizar hasta que realizaron la limpieza correctamente. Solo funcionaba una de las tres máquinas de AA. El protector del colchón no es agradable para dormir. Hay muchos detalles de mantenimiento que poner al día.

Necesita de algún sistema para combatir el calor (ventiladores y/o aire acondicionado) además de mosquiteras en las ventanas de todas las estancias. También, el material del sofá del salón era inadecuado en ese sentido (plástico). La cocina y la alcoba tenía una iluminación muy pobre.

Y su personal, sobre todo Amalia, un 10 siempre pendiente de todo. Por poner solo un pero, faltaba un escalón en la piscina, pero se podía entrar y salir de la piscina.

• Linda (8/5): A fantastic family holiday - We have stayed at these villas on 3 trips now and love the location. We enjoyed the private pool and were able to make trips to lots of beaches, villages and towns across the island. It was perfect for our family. Not all the villas have air conditioning it would be nice to have mosquito nets on the windows as the breeze is very pleasant in the evening. The outdoor grills are great but without utensils in the kitchen for them a bit disappointing.
• Richard (6/5): Good location and helpful staff. Very average accommodation that could be great. - Very spacious and good location. Very bare with little charm. Lacking in kitchen utensils and general decorations. There was no wifi in our villa. Staff were nice though.
• Neil (5/5): Familiar villa, stayed in this complex before. The villa needs some TLC - The villa is spacious with a good sized pool, three large bedrooms, one with en-suite. Plenty of storage space in all of the bedrooms. The outside space is good with a table for eating on the patio. The pool is secure for young children with a gated fence surrounding it. We have stayed several times at these villas during the course of the last ten years. For various reasons we hadn’t been back since 2019. The villa that we stayed in, number 10, felt somewhat ‘run down’ The sofas are the same as when we first visited and are well past their best, with the arms having collapsed internally, covered in cigarette burns and generally dirty. The kitchen door handle was falling off, meaning that we had to leave it locked during our stay, inconvenient as it is the primary entrance to the villa. The pool was dirty and only cleaned on our penultimate day, the tv was way past it’s best with damaged speakers making it almost impossible to watch, the privacy fencing has been removed from all of the villas making sitting around the pool a very public activity. Lastly there were two loud birthday parties going on into the night upon our arrival, even though the rules state no parties (the estate offices were approx 100 yards from our villa, but the parties were allowed to continue.

• Jason (8/5): Good location and good place to explore from, nice villa and pool - The Villa was in a good location, nice and quiet most of the time. Great size very spacious, lovely garden and pool. Having the garage to keep the car cool was a bonus. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was brilliant. Lajares has a lovely feel to it relaxed and friendly, good mix of nationalities, nice places to eat and shop. A lovely lady came to clean and gives us fresh linen, and the pool was cleaned. The coordinates we were sent took to Villa number 8, we found Villa 2 and 3 but not Villa 1. We had been travelling since the early hours so were tired, it was hot and the number we called the lady did not speak good English. It took us at least 45 minutes to find the Villa. The Villa behind our property had a party the last weekend we were there, at least 20 people. This continued over 2 days with loud music from early evening until the early hours and then started at 8 am the next day. The sofas were very uncomfortable. The outside area could do with more shaded areas. The kitchen was not well equipped, we love to cook when in the Canaries as the produce is so good, we had to buy several basic items which I would expect to be provided eg roasting tin, sharp knives, mugs, wine glasses.
