• Manon (7/5): Simple and practical - Beautiful terrasse with many plants and volcano view. Confortable bed, hot shower, cosy sofa area. No window in my bedroom, in the kitchen and living room. Smell of a cave in my bedroom.

• Megan (10/5): - We really loved our stay in this hotel. It was clean and pretty. The personal was nice. Even if the bathroom are shared, it really wasn’t a problem at all during our visit. The balcony is so cute. There is a lot of flowers and you can see the volcanos. The hotel is well located. In our room there was a fan, which we appreciated a lot! If you want to drink water at the hotel, there is filtered water in the living room!
• Kirsty (9/5): Very welcoming and homely - Such a lovely little homestay - the owners were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and showed us around. The central communal area is lovely, with plants growing everywhere making it feel like a little jungle stay inside the city! The rooftop was also fantastic - we spent a couple of evenings chilling up there, watching Fuego erupt in the distance. The room had no windows so was quite dark and hot, but there was a fan. There are curtains over the doors, so we left our door ajar with curtains pulled across in the mornings :)

• Joanna (9/5): Comfortable, clean and welcoming place in Antigua with great roof top terrace. - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa de Leon. It felt really homely and cosy with the plants and little ornaments around, lovely roof top terrace and only 5 rooms in total. The Wi-Fi was super reliable, we could stream videos without any issues. The kitchen is well equipped, and the whole property was really clean. It felt calm, comfortable and welcoming all throughout our stay. We were happy with all aspects of our stay.

• Iris (9/5): Super Unterkunft - Die Unterkunft ist echt gemütlich und sehr liebvoll gestaltet mit all den Pflanzen im Haus. Die 2 Damen sind auch sehr freundlich gewesen. Unser Zimmer war direkt an der Straßenseite, wo es nachts sehr laut werden konnte, aber so ist das eben mit den Häusern in Guatemala. Es gab auch Warmwasser 😊

Wir durften unser Gepäck während einer Wanderung in der Unterkunft lassen, das war sehr freundlich. Die Preise für extra-Dinge waren etwas teuer. Eine Ladung Wäsche hat 75 Q (8,50€) gekostet und ebenso nach der Wanderung zu Duschen und die Küche zu nutzen.

Staff were very friendly despite language barrier Our internal room had quite an unpleasant smell, and the kitchen was very cramped if more than one person was trying to use it. Hot water was inconsistent

• Nieman (10/5): Beautiful and small hotel with an unbeatable rooftop - Sandra was a very gracious and kind host. The space is beautiful, especially the rooftop. Great location in a slightly quieter corner of town, incredible deal for the price. No complaints! I would happily stay again.

Ho alloggiato in una struttura diversa rispetto quella prenotata, informazione che ho saputo solo all'arrivo nella struttura (mi sembra che la struttura prenotata fosse più bella)

• Karen (9/5): Great value stay for budget travelers! - Casa de Leon was a wonderful find in Antigua, which tends to be more pricey for accommodations. The hostel only had 6 private rooms, which made it quieter compared to larger hostels. It had a shared kitchen, two sets of showers/bathrooms, and a nice rooftop for hanging out. The WiFi was also super fast! As others have noted, the rooms are small and have no windows and no ventilation. However, we didn’t mind so much because it helped us to sleep (we run cold at night!) and we only stayed for two nights.

On nous a même laissé une petite chambre après le check out afin d’attendre le taxi. J’étais malade et la dame m’a proposé d’aller me chercher des médicaments. Ma valise s’est cassée et elle m’a proposé d’aller en acheter une avec moi. De la pure gentillesse.. Je recommande vivement !

• Jay (9/5): Superb - Great comfortable and budget option in Antigua! We should have stayed here the other times we were in Antigua while in Guatemala. The room is was big with a good mattress and hardly anyone else staying there. When we arrived they said there was no room at the current accommodation so they took us 3 minutes walk down the road to another accommodation which I think is classed as the same place? Either way we didn’t mind because the place they took us was really nice and same price

They stored our bags while on the volcano hike and also did laundry for us. 8min walk to the central plaza. Clean and well equipped kitchen for cooking. Great rooftop terrace for watching Fuego erupt. Cool rooms with fans.
• Deleviaje (9/5): Cozy place near the Central Park - The place is quite close to the Central Park (5-8 min walk), and there is a San Martin Coffee Shop like two blocks away. The roof terrace is beautiful to watch the sunrise with a coffee and see the volcanoes. The staff is super friendly, definitely I will come again.

They can arrange trips, shuttles, give you infos about what to do. Nice terrace and a kitchen in the house too. My room was big and I felt comfortable there. Quiet location and good bed.

When we went to do the volcanoe hike, they let us leave our things and check in early upon our return from the hike! All the staff are incredibly friendly as well. Recommend to everyone! Nothing

The beds were very comfortable and we slept so well. Great lounge area, and rooftop patio. The kitchen is well equiped to cook your own food if you want. The place has 2x toilets and 2x showers which is a great ratio for a small number of rooms. We will definitely be back.

• Maria (9/5): A great stay in this casa - I had a great stay, came back for one night after my visit to the lake. It's a small and cosy spot, had everything I needed with a great wifi and friendly staff. Slept super well in my room, the place is a tiny walk away from the busy area so it's quiet at night. It's still super close to everything. Shared shower and bathroom worked well, there are only 5 rooms and 2 toilers + showers - super smooth. You can hear everything from the main area into your room, but it didn't bother me as nights were quiet. Some of the room have a little bit stuffy smell, but slept well regardless. And you can leave the window or door open a bit, it's super safe.

• Kate (10/5): Definitely book your Antigua stay here!! - We LOVED our stay at Casa De Leon. The room was super comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook any kind of meal, the design of the space and lovely plants everywhere, and the rooftop terrace where you can clearly see Volcan Aqua and Fuego! The hosts were very lovely too. We would love to come and stay again!
• Amy (10/5): Great place - Everything was great about this place. The rooms were really comfortable, the bathrooms were always clean and the kitchen was there to use when needed. The ladies who worked there were so nice and friendly. There was even a nice rooftop area you could chill on. The only thing is that the room was really damp, but they had taken steps to reduce it by putting a dehumidifier in the room.

The house is lovely and full of plants. The mattress is really comfortable, we had a small room but the living room and the terrace give you all the space you need.
• Bate (10/5): Beautiful home and people with stunning flora. - We had the most lovely time at Casa de Leon. Nimsi and Sandra were the most accommodating hosts. They were attentive to our every need. They allowed us to leave our luggage whist we went on the volcano hike. They were so helpful and caring. We loved all of the beautiful plants in the living room. The terrace was our favourite place to relax. We could sit and listen to the sounds of Antigua whilst watching the volcano erupt! It was so beautiful. Would definitely recommend.
• Ross (10/5): Amazing value - Incredible value for money, great location, easy check in & payment. We stayed for 6 nights in total, they kept our bags for us while we did the Acatenango hike & had our room ready for us when we returned. The hosts are so helpful & friendly although limited english it is easy to communicate. The bathrooms are great there is 2 showers & 2 toilets, both showers are some of the best weve had in any accomodation. The wifi is also very strong. There is no windows in the room but you get a small fan/air con unit which helps a lot. Kitchen area also nice, a bit small but has everything you would need. They also have filtered water & a beautiful rooftop with views of Fuego when its clear! Overall this is an amazing place to stay in Antigua. Nothing!
