• Ange (10/5): Great place and reasonably priced - We liked th location, it is close to Albert Dock and the Cavern Club and shops. The Ivy is round the corner, close to loads of bars and restaurants. Staff were really welcoming. The sat nav took us down a not so nice street(Moor Street) to get to the accommodation, which had homeless in tents, not a good first impression. We wondered where we had booked!

The waiting time for lifts was quiet long sometimes if a lot of people were using them. Pizza we ordered at a hotel was not very good(didn't expect much but still). But other than that it was great and would for sure stay here again.

• Sophie (9/5): Fantastic hotel, fantastic location. I will absolutely be back. - My first thought was how clean it was! Amazing! The staff were so unbelievably friendly, the decor of the hotel is amazing and it feels really homely. The 1 bed apartment was such a good size, a really comfy bed too and had all utensils and equipment you would need. The only issue was people coming back in loud at night shouting down the corridors - however this is at no fault of the hotel!

Cooking utensils and crockery - not that we used them, iron and iron board which was great and a hair dryer so less for me to pack in my bag no issues at all

Room was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend, parking on site was good and safe, friendly and helpful staff. If I had to pick at anything would be that car park spaces were quite tight and access to car park could be smoother i.e having a way to access without having to ring reception for shutter to be lifted (maybe a number plate recognition or buzzer) but wouldn't put me off in future and would still use again.

Just needed a dust or wipe with a wet cloth. Sensor lights in hallways difficult to activate and corridor pitch black. Scary as loan female. Would be better if sensor at least lit the whole hall rather than sections. Can't see if anyone is there. Had to stop and wave and wait in pitch black half way up hallway. Hotel very nice otherwise.

• Nutchanok (10/5): Perfect - We got upgraded the room from 1 bedroom with sofa to 2 bedroom with sofa and it was excellent. We stayed at the hotel during our visit to liverpool game, the staffs were super nice, the hotel was clean, and in the good location. Near the tube (with lift access) which makes it easy for traveling with luggages. Also. It was near the bus station to Anfield Stadium and near the liverpool one which has lots of shopping stores and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The building is secure, you have to use your key to enter in the evening and they have security checking your room number. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we had a pizza one evening which was really nice and reasonably priced. The staff very kindly decorated the room for me with decorations I sent, this was for my partners birthday and was such a lovely touch. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, also liked that housekeeping doesn’t come in and you can just request anything you need. Nothing.

• logan (5/5): Shame about the rather dangerous/faulty shower and lack of follow up. - Location, staff, concept of aparthotels Arrived into the room after 3pm check in, and the bathroom shower was wet. Then, we realised, after returning to the room at approx 11pm, from a night out that there was water dripping from the ceiling light over the shower. Following morning, we decided not to use the shower for our own safety as the water was still dripping into more of a continuous flow from the ceiling light over the shower fitting in room 506. We reported this the lovely staff on reception who encouraged us to send the video to the app scanner. We did but just received a generic reply and no follow-up. Shame. We will not recommend a stay here to friends/family.

• Bigaulwan (4/5): Not Good! - Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. I visited with my daughter to celebrate her 18th birthday, so we were hoping for a special experience. Upon arriving at 4:15pm, our room was still not ready, and after waiting 15 minutes we were assigned a disabled-access room, which wasn’t ideal for our booking. Although we decided to make the best of the situation, the poor customer service from staff throughout our stay was the most disappointing aspect. Overall, there are much better hotels in the area offering a far better experience for a similar price.

• Peter (8/5): Good central location...but - Convenience of location in relation to tourist attractions. Provided an easy way to return, regroup and go again. Essential with having a 2 year old. When arrived we were informed the room we booked was not ready, despite paying for early check-in. We were given an alternative room, however this had 2 single beds pushed together with no connection so they moved apart easily. Felt like I was sleeping separate to my wife. Provided a cot that was broken, brought another that was also broken. The third brought was finally suitable for use.

• Lorraine (10/5): Fabulous - We've stayed in a variety of hotels during our years visiting our student daughter, but this is our favourite. Credit to housekeeping for the outstanding cleansiness and immaculate room, kitchen, and bathroom. It is roomier than other hotel rooms we have stayed in Liverpool and the location is ideal, with carparking next door. We have decided we will now use Staycity for future visits. Nothing
