• Valentine (9/5): Maison paisible dans laquelle séjournait si vous aimez les randonnées et la nature ! - Très jolie chambre dans un écrin de nature, paisible. La literie était très bonne. La salle commune était vraiment sympathique, avec de la vaisselle à disposition. Le guide donné par Nathan nous a aidé lors de nos deux semaines de vacances, c’est devenu une référence. D’ailleurs, Nathan était vraiment accueillant et agréable, nous avons reçu un verre de vin de Madère à l’arrivée. En point d’amélioration, je conseillerais une VMC pour éviter l’humidité dans la chambre. Dommage que nous aillons pas eu Nathan lors de notre départ.

Nathan ci ha accolti con una gentilezza rara: vino tipico, spiegazioni dettagliate sull’isola, consigli sinceri su cosa vedere e dove mangiare. Si vede che ama il suo lavoro e che tiene davvero ai suoi ospiti. La casa è in una posizione ideale per i trekking più belli, come il Pico do Areeiro e il Caldeirão Verde. Un servizio che abbiamo apprezzato molto è stato il pick‑up al termine del PR1: è a pagamento, ma davvero comodo. Un alloggio che consigliamo di cuore.

• Ksenia (10/5): Wir hatten eine unglaublich schöne Zeit bei Os Manos, die wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden:) - Wir haben uns bei Os Manos von Sekunde eins an super wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt. Nathan hat uns vom Flughafen abgeholt und uns sofort unsere Sorge genommen, dass wir ohne Mietwagen auf einiges verzichten müssen. Der angebotene Fahrservice ist so viel mehr als nur ein Transport von A nach B, es ist vor allem ein wertvoller zwischenmenschlicher Austausch und wir haben viel mehr dadurch sehen können, als wir erwartet haben. Nathan bringt einen zu seinen liebsten Viewpoints und teilt sein Wissen über die Insel. Wir hatten immer tolle Gespräche auf den Fahrten und haben uns von Nathan auch gerne Inspiration für die nächsten Tage geholt. Dadurch hatten wir während unseres 9-tägigen Aufenthalts ein super abwechslungsreiches Programm und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. In der Unterkunft war es problemlos möglich, sich selbst zu versorgen und sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt zum Wandern und mithilfe der wertvollen Tipps von Nathan und seiner Familie findet man auch wundervolle Routen abseits der Menschenmassen. Man merkt einfach, dass sehr viel Liebe und Mühe in Os Manos einfließt und der persönliche Austausch mit den Gästen eine große Rolle spielt. Wir sind absolut zufrieden, werden noch lange von unserem Aufenthalt schwärmen und bedanken uns riesig! Wir haben uns wie ein Teil der Familie gefühlt:) /

• Sergey (10/5): Amazing stay at Casa Os Manos - The location was ideal for all of the north-east Madeira attractions (hikes, beaches). It was quiet and clean. Nathan was very welcoming and gave very good recommendations. We were even greated with a glass of Madeira wine! Everything was good, but make sure you take the right road on Google Maps to get to the place (one of the roads is not made for regular cars)

La chambre etait propre et les espaces communs spacieux L'hôtel est éloigné du centre ville lorsqu'on est à pied. La salle de bain est étroite, même pour une personne. C'est bruyant, on entend tout dans les autres chambres et à l'accueil.

Billardtisch zur freien Verfügung. Genügend Platz im Gemeinschafts-Kühlschrank. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Alle Räume und auch das Zimmer waren ziemlich kühl. Zimmer sehr ringhörig, wir hatten Mühe einzuschlafen, weil der Zimmernachbar laut geschnarcht har. Gemeinschaftsküche sehr spärlich eingerichtet, nur 1 Kochfeld und wenig Geschirr und Besteck. Wenn nur jemand der Gäste kochen will kann man improvisieren, wenn aber 2-3 weitere Gäste Kochen wollen wird es beinahe unmöglich.

• Maëlle (10/5): Super séjour passé dans cette maison d’hôtes, je recommande fortement - L’établissement est vraiment très bien situé, à moins de 5 minutes de la ville de Santana. Les hôtes sont extrêmement gentils et à l’écoute de nos besoins. Nathan lors de mon arrivé m’a partagé un document génial sur les best places à faire durant mon séjour et sur des restaurants à faire sur l’île. L’établissement dispose d’une cuisine à partager ce qui facilite la gestion des repas dans la semaine Les chambres sont équipés de leurs propres salles de bains et sont très confortable. Merci à Nathan et Tim, pour l’accueil et pour la partie de billard, je reviendrais prendre ma revanche 🤣 -

• Ellen (9/5): Uitmuntend - Heerlijke locatie in de rust. Vanuit hier zijn alle wandelroutes goed bereikbaar. Personeel is super behulpzaam. Shoot out to Nathan en zijn familie Toen wij er zaten was het weer heel slecht en was het heel vochtig in de kamer. Niet per se iets waar iets aan gedaan had kunnen worden.

I didn’t like that person who was working there was in shared living room watching the game, in my opinion, it shouldn’t be like that, room should be there for guests. • Hofje Margo (9/5): - Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het hotel ligt wat afgelegen met mooi uitzicht. Het was heel schoon en er waren faciliteiten om eigen maaltijden te bereiden. Nathan reageerde heel snel en was heel behulpzaam. Hij rijdt je overal naartoe voor een klein prijsje. We waren er in januari en hebben het koud gehad in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Op de kamer konden we wel gebruik maken van een elektrische verwarming. Al met al zeker een aanrader.

• FLORIE (7/5): Escapade de 4 jours au nord est de l' île ! - - la salle commune avec billard et des livres sur l'île - le verre de bienvenue et l'accueil de notre hôte (il nous a partagé sa maps avec tous les centres d'intérêts de l'île) - bonne réactivité et écoute de notre hôte - équipement pour cuisiner (plaque,micro onde et frigo partagé) Nous mettons cette remarque en négatif mais cela est dû à la période de notre voyage (Noël). Tout les restaurants étaient fermés aux alentours nous avons donc passé pas mal de temps à nous préparer à manger dans une maison humide et froide. Notre hôte a été réactif suite à notre demande de mettre le chauffage mais la région étant très humide a rendu la mission difficile.

• Konrad (10/5): - Cudowne miejsce! Począwszy od lokalizacji bo Os Manos znajduje się we wspaniałym zaciszu Santany. Do dyspozycji gości świetny ogród, w wyposażeniu części wpólnych takich jak aneks kuchenny - wszystkie niezbędne rzeczy. Przywitanie - nie spotkaliśmy się wcześniej ani nie spodziewaliśmy tak miłego przywitania ze strony gospodarza. Nathan zadbał o nas, podzielił się z nami ciekawostkami oraz miejscami, które warto zobaczyć w okolicy. Polecił nam dobre jedzenie i sklepy w pobliżu. To było bardzo miłe, zwłaszcza, że nasze poprzednie noclegi na Maderze były na zasadzie "weź kluczyk ze skrzynki przy zameldowaniu i odłóż go z powrotem przy wymeldowaniu". Miejsce z duszą i przyjemnym klimatem.

Taking amazing care of the guests (shared tips, guidance, experince, welcome glass of Madeira wine, ... simply outstanding service) and manages the accomodation with great care, continuously improving the experience far beyond the expectations. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished and cozy, with comfortable bed. The value you are getting for the price is top of the league. If we would visit Madeira again, we would come here again, without slightest hesitation. Nothing to complain, everything was perfect

• Kata (8/5): - Lovely place in a very quiet area where a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The bed was comfortable and the common areas were clean. The hosts were very nice and it was great that the parking spots in front of the building were on levelled ground and not uphill. Beautiful garden behind the building. The bathroom was quite small and the window of our room was looking out at the backside so we didn't have a view unfortunately. The shared kitchen only had one induction plate and didn't have a lot of pots/pans/knives so guests occasionally had to wait their turn to cook.

• Lindner (9/5): Die Gastfreundlichkeit von Nathan hat meinen Besuch besonders gemacht. - Os Manos liegt am Rand von Santana und mitten im Grünen. Ich kam aus Funchal und kam hier richtig runter. Besonders toll waren die Gastgeber. Da ich allein unterwegs war und mit dem Bus aus Funchal kam wurde ich von Nathan persönlich an der Bushaltestelle abgeholt. Auch für andere Orte, die ich nicht zu Fuß erreichen konnte, hat Nathan mir einen Fahrservice für einen guten Service angeboten und tolle Tipps für Wanderrungen mit mir geteilt. Die Natur rund um Santana ist toll, aber im Dorf merkt man, dass es viele Tagestouristen gibt. Die Restaurants sind teurer als in Funchal. Die Natur rund um Santana lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Restaurants würde ich eher weniger empfehlen.

• Olha (8/5): - Great remote location with a beautiful garden. There was a place to park the car. There is a kitchen downstairs where you can cook something for yourself. There is also a fridge where you can leave your groceries. The young gentleman who checked us in recommended places with beautiful views. We had a rented car so getting to the place was no problem. The cleanliness of the bathroom was so-so. There was some dirt and cobwebs on the ceiling. And instead of a duvet cover, you get a sheet and a blanket. For some people, that won't be a problem. But for me, it's like when you're on a train somewhere in a sleeping car.

• Aarda (9/5): Prachtige locatie met plezierige eigenaren - Nathan was erg behulpzaam en stuurde direct links door zodat wij vanaf het begin konden genieten in Santana. Mooi gesprek gehad op de eerste dag over Jezus. Kortom zeer plezierige eigenaren. Daarnaast een prachtig uitzicht en een mooie locatie om levada's te lopen en Santana te bezoeken. Aanbevolen! Niets veel tegen alleen was het jammer dat er geen breakfast kon worden geserveerd.

• Christophe (10/5): Une super adresse à recommander! - Endroit très reposant dans un cadre nature. Le logement était spacieux, les pièces de vie commune très chaleureuses et l’accueil exceptionnel. Absolument rien!

• Beate (8/5): - Wer eine ruhige und einfachere Unterkunft etwas außerhalb von Santana sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Jeder Gast wird mit einem Gläschen Madeira-Wein begrüßt. Tim war so nett und hilfsbereit und aufmerksam und hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, gute Tipps für jeden Geschmack zu geben. Einen so netten Empfang findet man sehr selten. Das Einzelzimmer war etwas klein.
