Guest Reviews
- Jane (8/5): - The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast very good. The walk to the Valley of the Temples is about 20 minutes though there is a bus from close to the hotel
- RT (10/5): Nice stay - The room was nice. Everything was clean. The food for breakfast was great . The view from the balcony was lovely why you ate your delicious breakfast
- Maria (10/5): - Perfect location to visit the temples, excellent restaurants at walking distance. The hosts were very kind and attentive. airt conditioning was a little deficient.
- olivier (10/5): - Very nice room, clean and nicely decorated. Amazing breakfast in the rooftop. The staff was super friendly. It's located very close to the valley of the temple, you can even walk to the entrance. Highly recommended!
- Jason (10/5): - The hosts were great. Parking was ample. We started every morning with a nice breakfast. In the evenings we went up on the roof and took in the scenery with some wine. Two things to note: the wine in the room is not complimentary. Secondly I had to get inventive with hanging towels as our bathroom only had sheers overlooking a busy street (fine in the day but not at night). There are lots of restaurants and 2 supermarkets within walking distance. We also booked a guided tour of the temples close by which I would recommend as well.
- Nadia (10/5): - Beautiful place with the most breathtaking views of the temples! Clean room and comfortable bed and amazing breakfast!
- Patrick (8/5): - The host was wonderful!
- SHINWOOK (10/5): - Very good
- Hector (10/5): Excellent Stay - Everything about it was great, including and especially the location. The hosts could not have been more helpful!
- Terese (8/5): - This property was clean and easy to find, the rooms are basic - great showers. It is close to the temple and has wonderful views of the valley of the temples. The breakfast was lovely and the man who served it was very kind. That said, it is a self check in property. The owner never introduced themselves to us. I would consider this more of an AIRB&B with breakfast rather than a traditional B&B. We saw no staff until breakfast. We usually prefer a little more interaction. This is the reason I did not give five stars. If you don’t mind not having any interaction, it’s a great place to stay.
- Jan (10/5): - The most amazing view from our room. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. I loved our room. It was in a cave and very romantic.
- Ronni (10/5): - Friendly staff, great breakfast, convenient location, near many sites and restaurants
- Russ (10/5): - Great view
- Kenneth (10/5): - We loved the location, the room and the ease of checking in. We enjoyed the terrace as well. The breakfast was excellent. Walking distance to the Valley of the Temples. Highly recommend.
- jon (10/5): - Close to valley of temples
- Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended place - Perfect stay. The host was very reactive and friendly. Great breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. Perfect location also close to the temples.
- Andrew (10/5): - Great stay and food
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Our room was very nice. We had a great view and the view from the common area rooftop patio was fantastic. You can see the temples and the Mediterranean Sea and sunset! The breakfast was delicious and not just the standard fare. There are not a lot of walkable distance restaurants near the place but easily drivable. I greatly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Valley of the Temples.
- james (10/5): - The women that served us breakfast allowed us to store our luggage, while we visited the valley of the temples, after we'd checked out. The breakfast was excellent, and the room was beautiful. It was great!
- MICHAEL (10/5): - Such incredible people!!!
Breakfast is great!
You can walk to the ruins!!
- Alexander (10/5): - We were in Agrigento for only one night. The self check-in process was easy. We were close enough to walk to the entrance of the Valle dei Templi (took a taxi back because we were tired). There are limited dining options within in walking distance, but the one we tried was excellent. When the host learned we were leaving early in the morning, they made sure to prepare breakfast early for us for an amazing meal on the rooftop terrace. Was definitely a highlight for us.
- Ned (10/5): - Delightful breakfast at the top of this excellent B&B! The room was spacious and quiet and we easily got to the Valley of the Temples. Great stay with excellent hosts!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Valle dei Templi - Vincenzo served us breakfast on the terrace overlooking th e Valley of the Temples. He was friendly and accomodating. This was an enjoyable one night stay.
- Yuan (10/5): - Very clean hotel
- James (10/5): - Lovely b&b, nice rooms, nice view of the temples. Quiet and out of the way. No desk; my only personal interaction was with the nice young man who served breakfast out on the terrace. Walking distance for virtually anyone who wants to go to the park and/or museum. Older visitors might want to arrange for taxis to go to the town for dinner or sight-seeing in the modern town up the hill. Enthusiastic recommendation from me!
- Jeff (10/5): - This was an extremely well run family business. It had just been recently renovated, was very clean and comfortably furnished and the breakfast was next level; served on the rooftop patio with delicious selections, a beautiful view and a really friendly ownership group. Highly recommend!
- Raymond (8/5): - Our GPS did not recognise the property so drove past a few times before finding it. Hosts were friendly and helpful and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely. Access to property a bit difficult with stairs and safe needs to be properly secured. Lovely renovation.
- Matt (10/5): - A lovely Hotel, very close to the attractions. The terrace is beautiful. Photo attached
- Brad (8/5): - Loved the rooftop view of the temples at breakfast and in the evening.
- David (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. We arrived before check-in time and the hosts allowed us early access to our room and offered generous assistance and advice. The room was comfortable with a terrace facing the Valley of the Temples and the coast. What a perfect place to stay in Agrigento!!! They also serve a nice and generous breakfast on their fabulous roof terrace!
- Alice (10/5): Great place to stay! - We had a lovely stay at Dimora dei Templi. Our room was very comfortable and we loved sitting on the rooftop terrace overlooking Agrigento. We enjoyed the bottle of red wine that was in our room on the terrace (extra $). Breakfast the next morning was also served on the rooftop terrace. It was lovely with fresh juices, yogurt, coffee, frittata & pastries. All made locally and served by Vincenzo. We enjoyed getting to know Vincenzo. He was a wonderful host. We even got to meet the owner
Francesca. She was so friendly and helpful with information about the museum. gardens and ruins. She even helped with our luggage.
- Adam (10/5): - It was a great b&b. Only reason not higher is AC didn’t work but they tried hard to fix it and then gave us a break on the city taxes and some local apricot jam as an apology. Great place and very nice hosts. Breakfast was lovely and huge. Very convenient for valley of temples.
- Thomas (10/5): - Very nice spot to stay very close to the Valley of the Temples. Staff made this stay outstanding. Room was quite spacious. Be aware that bags are carried up multiple flights of stairs. Location made it possible to check in and easily get in evening visit to the Archeology Park which was best time to visit.
- Stefani (10/5): - Amazing location! We could see the temples from our room balcony and also the rooftop terrace. Rooms were very clean with really comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent and service was top notch! The owner seven sent us recommendations for different restaurants in the area. Highly recommend staying here!
- Gustavo (10/5): - Beautiful rooms. Owners are on top of you, so make you feel safe.
BREAKFAST! DELICIUS!
Very recommdable to stay after your visit at " Valle dei Templi"
- Gabriella (10/5): - Great location and great hostess. Francesca is a warm and welcoming person who went out of her way to help us in every possible way. We would definitely come back and use this hotel again.
- Stephen (8/5): Good B&B but hard to find - The location, room and breakfast service were all 5-star. The only negative issue was lack of adequate instruction for finding the hotel. I arrived at dusk which added to the challenge. My GPS kept sending me into tight areas where I had to back out, and rerouted me 2+ miles out of the way. It took 15 minutes to find the place and in the end it was by pure accident.
- Alfonso (10/5): - The breakfast in the terrace is wonderful
- Denise (10/5): - Our bathroom in our room was a little small. The bed mattress was too hard. But the breakfast and service was amazing!
Very friendly staff and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit meeting the owner, Francesca!
- Darko (10/5): Excellent accueil - Meilleur déjeuner de notre voyage.
- Roberta (10/5): Beautiful View - Very nice well placed B&B, lovely view across the valley.
- Alice (10/5): Don't miss an opportunity to stay here! - A perfect place from which to explore the Valle dei Templi. View of temples from your very comfortable room.
The breakfast is amazing: omelette, fruit, pudding, pastry, juice, and more.
Francesca is a lovely host, and there are restaurants close by.
A gem!
- Joseph (10/5): - The staff was fantastic. So kind, helpful and provided exceptional hospitality.
- Nerrida (10/5): - This is a beautifully decorated Art Deco property a little way from town but close to the main tourist attractions.
The rooms have 5-6 sets of stairs so with bags a small challenge if you are older.
Breakfast is great with home cooked Italian food.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable
- Sanjiv (10/5): - Francesca was the best to assist us, very accommodating. Helpful and breakfast on the rooftop is amazing!!!
- Andres (10/5): - Met Francesca and her staff. Very attentive, and since we could not stay for their famous breakfast, they offered to make us sandwiches for the road.
- Corinne (10/5): Ideal gelegen für Tempelbesuch - Unkomplizierter self-check-in. Grosses sauberes Zimmer und Bad. Tolles liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstuck.
- Ekaterina (10/5): - We really liked our stay at this B&B! It was a walking distance to the Valley of Temples and we had an amazing breakfast! We got here from Catania by the carpooling ride and stayed for one night, then took a 5-minute taxi ride to a bus station to go to Palermo. If you are staying here for a couple of days, I recommend renting a car.
- Lennox (10/5): - Perfect location for Valley of the Temples, walking distance to a number of restaurants and an easy short drive to Agrigento. Rooms were bright and spacious, terrace was a nice touch. Incredible breakfast spread and Francesca and Vincenzo were friendly and welcoming hosts!
- Kathleen (10/5): - Lovely B&B in a convenient, quiet location to historic sites. Our room was spacious and new; well designed. Breakfast was wonderful with many great choices of homemade food. Christina was very kind and professional...pleasant and helpful.
- Steven (10/5): - Spacious, well appointed room. Awesome location, great staff. Highly recommend if you plan to visit the temples.
- Silvia (10/5): - The staff was incredibly kind. I accidentally dropped a small necklace on the floor. It was found in the vacuum bag and sent to me. The home made breakfast was really special. From the first modest impression, given the average decor, we changed to big satisfaction thanks to the warm hospitality.
- Rachel (10/5): - The property was very nice, tastefully decorated, comfortable, cool and good WiFi. Communication with Francesca was excellent and she was very helpful. Lovely breakfast on the terrace with very close proximity to sites (5 min car ride).
- William (10/5): - Francesca, Catia, and Christina provided us a most enjoyable stay in every aspect. The breakfast was fantastic with a wonderful view of the temples from the rooftop terrace. The room was perfect with all of our needs promptly attended to. Highly recommended and we hope to return soon.
- Lorraine (10/5): Excellent - Property situated in an excellent location, close to one of the entrances to the Valley of the Temples. Also a short drive away from the Centro Storico di Agrigento. Beautiful view from our room 'Stella' and an even better one from the rooftop terrace where we had our breakfast. The lady who was with us during breakfast (sorry forgot the name!!) was super friendly and the property owners Francesca and her husband were very welcoming and helpful too!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - nice views and balcony. very clean and comfortable and good location.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fabulous place within walking distance of the temples. Excellent communication from the owner which enabled us to arrive and settle in without any problems. Room lovely with small balcony and view of one of the temples. Really good and friendly service from the breakfast lady. Lovely stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The b&b is very comfortable and well situated. The staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful. Highly recommended.
- Lisa (10/5): A standout gem - The location of this hotel was superb.
Very close to Valley of the temples and historic old town.
Clean and modern room. Lovely roof to terrace with beautiful view of ruins and the Mediterranean.
Breakfast was great...even supplied sandwiches for our lunch.
Lovely owner offering anything to make us comfortable. Hopefully we can return soon.
- Neil (10/5): Lovely hotel in walking distance to the Greek ruin - Agregento is great. The Greek ruins are spectacular. And the guess house is within easy walking distance. The host family are welcoming and so friendly. They are locals and have good recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Denise (10/5): Comfortable Stay but difficulty Sleeping - Clean & spacious with a distant view of the Temple of Juno from the balcony. Owner was not on property, and we received her message about how to check in after the fact since we are from out of country and have limited internet service. The only other issues were the 2 local dogs that barked continually all night long. That made sleeping very difficult. If I knew the dogs would not be outside barking, I would stay again.
- Bin (8/5): Dimora dei Templi-Valley of Temple - Closes location to Valley of Temple, great rooftop view of the Valley of Temples, minutes drive away from the center of the Agrigento. Needs go get there by 7:30pm, or call the host, who would come minutes later for check-in. Would be nice to provide Guest with access code so guest could get in with worry about left out.
