• Lisa (9/5): Spotlessly clean and comfortable hotel. - Beautifully clean, friendly and homely family run hotel. Continental breakfast was excellent quality with everything you could want. Great value for money. Idyllic alpine village setting. Bit of a hike uphill in ski boots to the ski-lift. Found that we could use the elevator in the multi-story car park to ascend 6 floors which helped massively.

• Gerrit (6/5): Etwas altmodisches Hotel in noch guter Lage zum Skilift - Gute Lage zum Skilift. Dabei handelt es sich allerdings der mittlere Skilift im Skigebiet von Châtel - bis zum "Hauptskigebiet" Richtung Avoriaz sind mehr als 5 Lifte zu nehmen. Frühstück gut (15 Euro p.P.). Personal freundlich - spricht allerdings schlecht Englisch. Dusche und Toilette separat und renoviert. Speisesaal - und eigentlich auch der Rest der Räume - etwas altmodisch aber urig eingerichtet. WLAN miserabel - quasi keine Internet-Connectivity. Umschalten auf Mobilfunk hilft aber auch nicht! Im ganzen Ort ist die Verbindung bzw. die Datenrate extrem schwach (trotz Anzeige von 5G mit drei bis vier Balken). Webseiten mit Text und Messenger funktionieren manchmal. Filme runterladen oder streamen kann man vergessen. Zimmer winzig und bestenfalls altmodisch. Keine Steckdosen am Bett. Toilette winzig! Lüftung in Toilette und Bad beide nicht funktionsfähig. Luft im Zimmer oft "schlecht" - Lüften über Bakkontür, die nicht richtig weit zu öffnen war, ohne die Betten zu verschieben und den Rest des Raumes noch weiter zu verkleinern... Skikeller ohne Schuhtrockner. Alles in allem zu teuer - das lag vielleicht auch an den franz. Winterferien. Auch die Überlastung des Mobilfunknetzes mag damit zusammenhängen. Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer und waren während der franz. Winterferien dort - die sich leider über drei Wochen im Februar strecken. Sollte man bedenken!
• Peter (7/5): OK maar ik miste wat interactie - Rustige omgeving op wandelafstand van lift, bus en mooie dorp het personeel (en bovendien eigenaars) was vriendelijk maar zeiden opvallend weinig bij de bediening of afruimen van de tafel. Ook het wifi netwerk vond ik behoorlijk zwak

The hotel is a little dated, wifi was impossible and the location requires a walk uphill to get to the Chatel centre and the ski bus. Also, there is little "service" and the "reception" was rarely attended so very difficult to get advice or assistance. There is a restaurant but we were very disappointed that it was only open to half-board guests, an option that we were not given.

• Sandrine (6/5): Bien trop brillante pour se reposer - L’emplacement qui était pas loin du centre-ville et les champs très spacieuses La gestion du parking n’était pas top, la gestion des locataires non plus il y avait trop de bruit, on ne pouvait pas dormir le matin. Manque de respect des autres et rentrer avec leurs chaussures de ski criait dans le couloir. C’est normalement les établissements de remettre l’ordre dans son établissement

• Evelyn (10/5): Liebe im Detail 😍 - Sehr schönes Hotel mit besonders tollem Frühstück. Das Hotel ist sehr verspielt eingerichtet und die Gastgeber haben es liebevoll dekoriert.

Gros + l hôtel accepte les animaux de compagnie, le buffet du petit-déjeuner très copieux avec des spécialités locales, impossible de ne pas trouver son bonheur :) Parking au pied de l hôtel. Très important auss le calme eti la proximité du centre ville.Nous y retournerons a coup sûre. Rien dire de négatif.

• CLAUDE (10/5): Super séjour à Châtel - Hôtel très bien situé, proche du centre. Parking sur place. Arrêt des bus pour les stations devant l'hôtel. Chambre confortable, propre, grande et très calme. • Marietta (7/5): Cozy Chatel stay - Triple room with adjoining double was perfect for family of 5. Cozy decor, clean, lovely balcony. Elevator available. Bathroom was small. A bit far from gondola to the ski resort.
• Tamara (3/5): Close to the village, faulty towers service - It had 80s savoie charm and was close to the village. It was the cheapest accommodation I could find in chatel at short notice. Room smelt like an old age home, the bed was on a slant and the staff were never around. They didn’t salt the entrance which made entering and leaving the property dangerous.

• Richard (10/5): - It was like walking into Christmas wonderland, we loved it. Very welcoming and homely, clean comfortable rooms and warm after a cold day on the slopes. Staff were very friendly, good communication. Easy check in and out. Good location, and near electric car charging if needed.
