Elizabeth (3/5): Not the best - The hotel was very centrally located. The bathroom looked like it hadn't actually been cleaned. There was dirt and hair in the shower, and the shower drain didn't work. I ask the front desk staff if there was a better room available (I checked online first and saw there was) and they told me there wasn't. Also, the room had a creepy vibe, the way they had the chair and rug arranged felt very off. We checked out early, there was a different person at the front desk and he was very kind and said they would refund the remaining nights we had booked.
Vicky (5/5): Nice, probably wouldn’t return. - Felt that my car was safe. We sought the place out because we wanted to feel confident in leaving our car for the night. The room was pretty big and it was close to food places and mall. The air conditioning was terrible, had trouble sleeping through the night because it was stuffy. It was an energy efficient AC so the air would only be on in small increments of time.

Melissa (10/5): - Feet very safe for a solo traveler, especially as a woman. Beautiful courtyard for morning coffee, sun, and reading. Staff greeted us upon arrival and departure every single time. Just overall very clean with nice atmosphere No complaints

I loved the little goodies at the lobby every day and on Christmas Day they also gave us a little something on our door. On the first day we noticed a lot of ants in our room but the issue was resolved pretty quickly by the hotel.

They even had the cheek to charge for parking the car in an unsecured parking lot which they initially refunded but later the charge appeared on my bank statement. It makes you wonder who is running this company and their ethos.

Andrea (4/5): - I have stayed at AC hotels before and they were much better. Not sure what happened this time around. This property needs an upgrade on the outside, as well as in the inside. The rooms were not clean. The halls stunk like mildew and throw up! The service was subpar. I would not recommend this hotel. It is definitely not a 9.2 overall that was suggested.
Travon (10/5): - I stayed for about 4 nights and the staff was amazing. I was able to check in early the front desk let me know all about the bar & breakfast options. Parking was easy & poolside was clean. However upon arrival the sheets did have a black & red stain on them. But in the hotel’s defense I did ask to check in almost 4 hours early so they didn’t have time to double check the room like they normally would. Housekeeping came in literally two minutes the young lady changed the sheets & I had no other issues. I had a great experience.!

E7798PVdanar (2/5): Defective bathroom doors, trapped my husband inside - Never again. I had a 3 nights stay with my husband coming in on the second day. We were getting ready in the morning and I heard him yelling from the bathroom. The glass sliding bathroom door was stuck and he could not get out. Thank God, I was in the room with him. I couldn’t get it open either. When the engineer came in with a ladder, he knew exactly what to do. I asked him if this happens often and he said yeah the doors are too heavy for the frames. Aside from the fact that if I had been there by myself and it happened to me, they would have my d@$d body on their hands…. I always put the do not disturb sign on the door… close the door when I shower to keep the steam in. There is no phone in the bathroom. My claustrophobia would’ve done me in very quickly. But here’s my main complaint… no apology or even real acknowledgment while we were there. At home, I wrote a letter to Marriott and did hear from someone at the location. She informed me that they met with engineering and decided that they will not be replacing the defective doors as I suggested. They instead will go around and tighten them all. I pointed out that this means that they will eventually loosen again, and this will happen to others. Not a great solution, I say. She asked if I had any other questions. lol So if you don’t want to be trapped in the bathroom for possibly days at a time, pick another place.

Y3036TVmelissah (10/5): 10-10 stars!! - I had contacted the women at the front desk for an early check-in by the name of Kris, she was extremely polite and accommodating. She exceeded all my needs. The second person named James at front desk checked me in. He was lovely to work with, very kind, asked how my day was and offered me water. He checked me into a lovely room on the 5th floor, impressive. With my stomach growling I headed over to the bar. I was greeted by JC with a warm smile. He was able to help me find a delicious meal to take to my room as I was tired. The bar was very well stocked and clean. He created a welcoming space with pleasant conversation. I highly recommend this property in terms of location, cleanliness and the wonderful employees. I look forward to coming back.

Golf putting practice mat in reception area and large games near pool were entertaining. Noisy aircon in room, hallway smelt like parmesan cheese (musty), not enough towels or water in room for number of guests noted on booking

The bartender in the lobby JC was really great. Knew how to make all the specialty drinks and was all around a good guy. Made our nights fun at the bar

M (9/5): Very pleasant for one night. - For a Marriott it was nicely appointed. The bathroom was lovely the bedroom was very comfortable and well lite. There was a nice view of a pond (unexpected for Pheonix)! My big complaint with Marriott facilities, even the higher end is why is never has enough coffee for two in a room. Only one coffee, one decaf and one tea.

Loves2Travel222 (10/5): A Nice Stay Made Better By James at the Front Desk… - We live in northern Arizona and travel to Phoenix regularly for doctor visits and big city shops we do not have in our rural area. AC Marriott on Camelback is our preferred place to stay. Nice, clean rooms with very comfortable beds. Great restaurants and shopping are nearby also. Our most recent visit (tonight) was greatly enhanced by our experience with James at the front desk. He is an excellent ambassador for the Marriott brand….professional and very personable. Our day prior to our late arrival at the hotel was quite stressful. James’s warm manner and friendly conversation was just what I needed to relax and feel at home.

maureeshad2022 (10/5): Top Notch service in the best location - I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Every single person was the epitome of hospitality. The hotel looked brand new still! I interacted with some wonderful employees by the names of Merissa, Maria, Cedric, Ricky, Crystal, Shannon, Iliana, James and Albert. I even spoke with a great associate who came from the back named Mimi! The housekeeping team must be making top dollar because my room was spotless! I cant wait to go back. I had a great toast in the AM for breakfast and it was fulfilling and tasty. The Nespresso offerings all around truly transported me to a coffee shop in Europe!

Toni (10/5): Good choice - We enjoyed our stay, it was quiet and uncrowded the few days after Christmas. Lobby was beautiful, parking was easy, food and drinks were very good. Nice outdoor lounge area with heaters and fire pit as well as a heated pool and 24 hr gym. Close to everywhere we needed to be.
Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel, it's our go-to for Christmas - Nice modern hotel. Staff is professional and courteous. Room was comfortable. The lobby is nice, bar area is nice. They have an outdoor patio with fire pits, which we didn't take advantage of. We have family close by the hotel, so it makes it very convenient. This is a repeat stay for us. The only drawbacks were the false fire alarm at 2:12 am and the huge pillows they have on the bed.

The location was in a nice area there was plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area . The room was very cozy ( the heating unit was a bit noisy ) . Thanks to Malachi for the hospitality and easy check in .

It was not clean at all, we found so many hairs throughout out the room. The shower looks like it hasn’t been cleaned properly at all. There is soap scum and you guessed it hairs! Bed was somewhat comfortable. We had to clean the room, to feel comfortable to use.

Guesttvc (8/5): Overall great stay - Great location with so many stores and restaurants nearby. Beautiful lobby. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, but the hallways were in some need of remodeling and brightening up. The vibe of the hotel is as much getting to your room as the room itself and the journey was not so great. The hallway carpet and wall paper was showing some significant wear and tear. No other complaints.
