- David (10/5): - I had a great time staying at Hollies In The Wall on my way along the Hadrian's Wall Path. The annex accomodation was spacious, comfortable and well presented. Jackie was a wonderful host, even offering to drive me and the other guests to dinner. Highly recommend!
- tina H (6/5): I feel it was very overpriced. It would be better for a family. - I thought it was way overpriced. It was clean. It was modern, but I think there were much better options. Also the grounds were not well. Kept up dead plants and garden equipment left out.
- Gordon (10/5): Excellent facilities and genial hosts! - Excellent self-contained facilities including washing machine and drier, great shower. The location is on Hadrian's Wall path and the hosts were very accommodating providing taxi services to and from other parts of the wall. Recommend staying 2 to 3 nights and using as a base. The steps up to the second storey accommodation would not suit disabled persons
- James (10/5): Great location, comfortable and a great breakfast. - Location was perfect for walking the wall. Close to the trail and close to the pub for a well deserved pint.
- Dr. (9/5): Great location to explore region for a few days stay or passing through for one night hiking Hadrians Wall - Best apartment stay, in a long time. Stayed in coverted separate apartment. Modern, comfortable and fully equipped. Very friendly owner, and breakfast brought to room on request.
Great location to stay if hiking Hadrians Wall.
Nice pubs nearby for a drink. Beware of large dog. Not dangerous, but can be intimidating on passing.
- Carey (9/5): Very nice place to stay while walking the wall. A comfortable space to relax and recover. - Lovely freshly cooked breakfast

- Becky (9/5): A wonderful B&B on the Hadrian’s Wall - The room was really big and spacious, amazing facilities with a full kitchen and armchairs. The B&B was easy to find and perfect location for those walking Hadrian’s Wall. The host Jackie was really welcoming and even drove us out to a local pub for a fantastic meal as the pub in the village is not open at the moment. Jackie provided a range of options for breakfast, portions very generous and all included in the price of the room. I would highly recommend staying here. The only minor complaint would be limited headroom in the shower as it’s built into the eaves. Other than that it really was absolutely fantastic.
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely, spacious apartment along Hadrian's Wall walking trail with amazing host. - The host booked a reservation for dinner and drove us to a restaurant since the property is not near places to eat. The apartment was very spacious, clean, well appointed, and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Nothing!
