The interior is beautifully designed, creating a peaceful and stylish atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip – fresh fruit salad, homemade cakes, delicious bread, and perfect cappuccinos every morning. The pool is stunning, with breathtaking views over the olive groves: a perfect spot to relax. The location is also ideal: peaceful yet just a short drive from the lovely town of Noto. -

• Loredana (9/5): Peaceful stay outside of Noto - A charming and quaint hotel just a few kilometres from Noto. While our room was on the smaller side, the spacious bathroom made up for it. The staff were warm and welcoming, yet gave us plenty of space to enjoy a relaxed stay. The standout was breakfast — beautifully prepared with local produce, and we’re still dreaming about the ricotta. A lovely spot for a peaceful getaway close to town.

• Darlene (9/5): One of the most beautiful Villas in the countryside - Amazing property, filled with olive trees , it was peaceful and the villa was architected the most beautiful design and decor . The pool was clean and very nice place to relax . The staff was accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was crafted with love . The property was 5 stars . I loved it!! My only issue was we didn’t have a car and the cost of the taxis was expensive. A trip into town 2 Km was 30 Euros each way. If you stay here I recommend having a car.

We ate outside in a gorgeous courtyard for every meal, surrounded by stunning views and a wonderful tranquil feeling. The pool was such a treat to swim in, the rooms were stylish but comfy, the staff were really friendly, and the food was some of the best food we ate in Sicily - absolutely delicious. • Roger (10/5): A Beautifully Converted Farm Near a City (Noto) With Incredible Baroque Architecture - This is a beautiful hotel in a small, converted farm. The conversion was beautifully done. The grounds, including the infinity pool, and the building are both very tasteful and efficient. The decor of the building is great. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast was superb - the owner also owns a restaurant in town which just got a Michelin star. This hotel can be a little tricky to find. It is also located well outside of town, so don't expect to be able to walk anywhere - this is a very rural experience (including being a bit buggy). But if you are looking for this type of hotel, it's great.
• Adrien (10/5): A true work of art - - Our stay at Battimandorlo in Noto, Sicily, was truly unforgettable. The meticulous design and stunning scenery, set amid olive and almond groves just minutes from the heart of Noto, made for a breathtaking backdrop. It’s the perfect base for exploring Noto, Syracuse/Ortigia, and many nearby attractions. Our room was extremely comfortable and spacious, featuring the softest linens and the most inviting bed and pillows. The food was exceptional—every meal expertly crafted by a professional chef using local ingredients. Breakfast was a highlight, offering fresh-squeezed juices, delicious cakes, eggs to order, and a long list of other items you could order as many of as you liked. Not wanting to leave due to the serene atmosphere, we ended up dining there most evenings, enjoying dinner on the patio accompanied by a carefully curated playlist that enhanced the magical experience. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive all around. Each morning while at breakfast they cleaned our room and made our bed, leaving behind homemade cookies as a sweet surprise. Battimandorlo was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had and we hope to return one day! Nothing, it was perfection

It was green. Although staff said it was safe to swim in, my husband said no- so he would not swim. We have pools and green water can be treated and overnight- so a bit of ongoing pool maintenance issue I think. One of the reasons we stayed there was to enjoy pool and to relax with nature. So, a bit disappointing. But, inn and staff so delightful I still gave it a 9- one point lost due to pool color.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our time there, offering many tips and suggestions for exploring the area and helping with reservations at nearby restaurants. The food was amazing, both the dinner we had on our first night (which is an additional cost) and the breakfast (which is included). The grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere perfect for a relaxing few days in the Noto region. The air conditioning in our room could have been a bit stronger but it was never uncomfortable.

The property is beautifully designed, modern Mediterranean interiors yet no shortage of that quintessentially Italian, old world charm. We loved relaxing by the pool, dining in the courtyard, and having a peaceful home base to return to after a day in Noto or swimming at Vendicari.

Rooms looked beautiful and very clean. They recently changed their menu to smaller dishes. Food was good, however extremely small portions that are served on large plates. Some of them are literally 2 bites and therefore overpriced. Breakfast was included, and despite the taste being okay, again the portions are so small. In addition the dining experience and overall, they’re missing a vibe. Multiple times no background music so you just sit there in the quiet with other guests, all sort of whispering their conversations as it makes it awkward. Recommendation to put some music on, have your property manager taking a more proactive role and suggesting things to do in area, recommend your cocktail of the day by the pool, host a cooking class etc.

The owner, Elaine, baked the sweet of the day on our last morning which was amazing and the waiter recommended wonderful items for us to try on other days. The staff was very helpful, recommending local places to visit and tips for parking (when needed). The area is very similar to Napa from 20 years ago, with lemon and olive trees all around you (but does not have the current crowds that Napa has) with a focus on wonderful food. For the cognizanti, who want a very comfortable stay and want to feel and taste the Valley di Noto, I highly recommend this venue. Nothing

The breakfast is excellent: Battimandorlo offers great quality and variety of sweet & savory options. And the best is that everything is homemade! The room has been flawlessly clean and spacious. We also had a commodious balcony with comfortable outside seating to chill in the shadow. Even if laying by the pool under the olive trees gives a hardly beatable relaxing vibes. Last but not least, the people have been extremely friendly and nice as well.

The lunch and dinner are outstanding: the sauces, fish and pasta were all perfectly executed - we had a lovely well decorated suite with a huge terrace and bathtub and were able to enjoy the pool every day. The hotel is very close to Noto (Scicli was our favorite in the area) N/A

Our room was very warm - the air con never seemed to dip below 24 degrees which felt very hot compared to other rooms we stayed in during our trip in sicily. We were also above the kitchen so woken up to the sound of crashing early every morning but not much could be done about that!

Day trips to Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Syracuse and beaches all easy by car. Breakfast was superb, continental style and you are served it rather than fetching from a buffet. Infinity pool is awesome with view over the countryside. Room and bathroom spacious and sleek with good wardrobe space. All the staff were great and very friendly. Very little but if being picky: No direct outside space/terrace for the room, even though we had our own semi-private garden down the hall it's not quite the same thing. Sound from the restaurant echoes through the property until it closes around 11pm - maybe a door between restaurant and room areas would help.

• Sebastiano (10/5): Simply perfect - Everything at Battimandorlo is so gracefully well thought out. The staff is warm and welcoming and takes care of you since the first minute, while also leaving you enough space during the stay without ever making you feeling "abandoned". The structure in general offers amazing interiors, with a combination of renovated architecture, reclaimed furniture and contemporary art pieces; the architect really struck a perfect balance. Very appreciated the number of books and the common areas where guests could linger on as they pleased. The pool was just a jewel, well-proportioned for a relais of this size, well detailed from an architectural point of view and perfectly complemented by olive trees naturally shading the sunbeds. Lastly the food experience: we had been lucky to have perfect weather to enjoy the outdoor dining for dinner and for breakfast, and the food was always top level, from the ingredient to the presentation to the care with which the staff served and guided us. If you like gourmet cuisine and good wine (and liquors) you will be delighted. I didn't spend any word yet about our room, the number 5. Simply outstanding in its simplicity: the bathtub near the window was so relaxing, and the terrace just offered an unbeatable experience of the valley around us. Amenities offered were of high quality and in good amount, great bathing products from Ortigia and exquisite interior design elements throughout. We plan to come back here time and time again.
