Guest Reviews
- Deidre (10/5): Beautiful - The villa was lovely. The location was nice and quiet and very restful. Main shopping area was within walking distance.

- Marisa (10/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing. - Very clean, quaint and modern. Felt like you were home. Walking distance to the city centre and very close to other nearby places. I would definitely stay here again. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property and although it was very clean and comfortable, there could be a little more attention to detail on the little things like cleaning the skylight panels and wiping the wardrobe rails they were a tiny bit unpleasant to look at. But apart from that it was perfect hence the great review.
- Karyn (9/5): -
- Rhonda (9/5): Great location, excellent linen and comfortable - Not applicable It was very dark, I prefer lots of light
- Rhonda (7/5): -
- Vickie (9/5): -
- Janice (8/5): Very comfortable and cosy. Had everything we needed. - Breakfast not provided. Villa was cosy and comfortable. Fireplace provided perfect heating. Beds were very comfortable and we both had our own ensuite. I little tricky to exit car park and avoid garden beds.
- Lisa (10/5): -
- LISA (9/5): Wonderful accommodation I would recommend it to anyone - Each bedroom had its own on suite, gas log fire, clean and comfortable. Great location The pool was out of order on our stay
- Lauren (9/5): Villa Sorelle was a lovely place to spend a couple of nights whilst in Daylesford. Location close to town was great and - Location close to town, double bathrooms, nicely appointed space. Pool only in use ‘in summer months’ (should be removed from property photos).
- Rea (10/5): - Great communication with requests, queries etc. Location... walking distance to centre of town. Generous starter pack. Great to have a variety of supplies.
- Rhonda (9/5): - For me I found the bed a bit too firm but that is just a comment not a criticism my friend was happy with her bed
- Jasmina (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay! The property was in a perfect location—peaceful yet just a few minutes’ walk from the centre and close to beautiful Wombat Hill. It was clean and very comfortable. The heating worked perfectly and made it a cosy retreat on cold winter days. Highly recommend!
- Elle (8/5): Great location and amenities. - Super close to the main drag in a gorgeous quiet complex. The spa bath was fantastic and there was a nice little spot to sit out the front and enjoy a morning coffee. I didn’t find the bed very comfortable and the townhouse itself didn’t get a lot of natural light downstairs.
- Louise (10/5): Perfect stay for a weekend get away - Great location and very comfortable unit for 2 couples.
- Pam (9/5): Relaxing - Location excellent Villa number 2 in bedroom to the right had a loud noise coming from two-way cooler/heater whether it was off or on.
Woke me up a lot quite loud.
- 0xtraveller (10/5): Exceptional -
- Val (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): A great place a two night stay in Daylesford - Very close to the centre of Daylesford, with easy parking. Facilities were excellent, including a spa bath in each bathroom. Nothing negative to report
- Julie (8/5): Lovely few nights in beautiful Daylesford - Cosy, comfortable, well equipped Nothing
- Leesa (9/5): Superb - Bathroom needed a good clean especially the shower area

- Daryl (10/5): Awesome property in a great location! - Beautiful villas in a great location. Very clean with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. Nil.
- Rea (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic having a full ensuite for each bedroom/couple. Great exercise going up and down the stairs! 😊 All was good 😊
- Qiyan (9/5): Very confortable, clean and close to everywhere! - Love the facilities especially the fireplace, providing a super cosy room for my family to stay. The bed sheet set is not soft and very noisy when you move.
- Anna (7/5): Good - The Villas were beautiful, comfortable beds and had the convenience of two ensuite bathrooms. Good location. Although the property was beautiful, we only chose to stay there as it had the advantage of an indoor pool. To our disappointment, the pool was closed for the duration of our stay.
- Lisa (9/5): Gorgeous apartment. - Great location, responsive service and lovely amenities. Didn’t receive any advance information that the heated pool would be closed, and was one of the key features I was looking for in a property.
- Vicki (10/5): The place was excellent, very clean and comfortable. We love it, it was our second time staying ther -
- Kathy (9/5): Superb - The Villa was beautiful ,very cozy Our bbq didn't work at start as power point outside deck didn't work ,after making a call we were given an extension lead .,
rather exspensive for 2 night stay .
- Parker (9/5): It was beautifully furnished with everything one could possibly need. - Really a very pleasant place to stay. Clean, comfortable, warm and very inviting. There is nothing
- Jane (10/5): Exceptional - Clean
Loved the welcome wine
Great location Nil
- James (10/5): Villa Sorelle is modern and comfortable and in a great location. The welcome bottle of wine was appreciated as well as t - It was warm and cosy . The beds were very comfortable and the shower strong . The location was excellent- a six or seven minute walk to the convent , the gardens and the Main Street / shops . Cutlery and crockery supplied . The stairs to the bedrooms wouldn’t suit everyone.
It would be helpful if glasses were supplied upstairs for cleaning one’s teeth and the shower recesses could do with anti slip on the floor.
- Thong (7/5): Good -
- Neil (9/5): Wonderful short term stay facility. - Excellent location, beautifully laid out property, 2 bedrooms each had on suites. Only criticism was we couldn't get the BBQ to work.
- Cameron (9/5): Superb - Only problem to mention - Internet connection worked when we first arrived on Friday. However for Sat, Sun, and Monday, wifi modem was working but there was no internet connection. Did a few resets, but that didn't fix it. It was only usable again on Tuesday morning when we were checking out.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhona (10/5): Exceptional - The house was amazing and just perfect for our trip to Daylesford. Location was as described so easy to explore the town. We made good use of the swimming pool. The house was really well equipped and very comfortable. We loved our visit to the Convent art gallery and botanic gardens. Thanks very much 👍🏼 There was nothing I didn't like but the a/c unit in the right hand bedroom was very noisy for some reason but I used the fan instead.
- Reeta (10/5): Wow....so clean and so beautiful - The rooms were very clean, tidy and beautiful. Everything was supplied. Very impressed. Enjoyed every minute of our stay.excellent location. Would come back again and again. To be honest...I don't have any complaints or anything that I didn't like
- Beverley (8/5): Very restful. Great shops to visit. Hepburn Springs very close by. Many Hotels and eating places. - Well located, Everything we needed.
Indoor pool.
Easy to get into . It was all very pleasant.
- Daniel (10/5): Great location, walking distance to wombat hill botanic gardens, and main strip, also nice coffee shop on Wombat St clos - Very clean and spacious with all amenities, large comfortable beds, large bathrooms, kitchenette with everything, laundry and dryer to add to it. Close to Vincent St shops, wombat hill botanic gardens. Short stroll down hill towards Lake Daylesford. Nice little coffee shop (Cliffy’ Emporium) just a short walk up for probably one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. Plenty to do but unfortunately we ran out of time.
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Comfortable beds
Clean and well presented property. No swipe card for the pool.
Very loud air conditioner in bedroom to right of stairs.
- Anonymous (9/5): Lovely clean property with comfortable beds and great shower - The beds were comfortable and location was convenient No toilet downstairs
- Claudia (9/5): Conevenient Location, Short Walk into town - Nicely decorated, enough cooking utensils and crockery. Nice fire place
- Frances (7/5): Enjoyable -
- Joanne (9/5): Great Villa close to Town - The Villa was in walking distance into town. Comfort beds with bathrooms for each bedroom. The pool was an added bonus. Recliner couches. Would be nice to put your feet up while watching TV.
- Stephen (10/5): Exactly what we wanted - Not applicable It was perfect
- Janette (9/5): Superb -
- Stephanie (10/5): Exceptional - All good All good
- Lisa (10/5): Really great, cozy little villa really enjoyed it. - Really lovely little place, the ensuite bathrooms were great allowing you to have your own bathroom and the beds were fantastic comfy and large!
The arriving with a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses on the kitchen table, heater going and music playing was an excellent extra mile touch.
location was fantastic short walk to everything making it an enjoyable no designated driver weekend I would have liked a doona cover rather than sheets over the doona, just a personal preference rather than a bad thing.
- Linda (7/5): Good - The layout It needs a good clean
The bond of $500 seems excessive and takes a while to get back
The apartment was freezing when we got in as the heaters had not been lit. However, when I requested assistance the manager came quickly to sort out the issue with heating
- Grazia (10/5): We had a great time thank you 😊 - Great location close to the Main Street of shops - you could walk there.
- Anna (9/5): Lovely stay. - Property presentation was fantastic, and included all essentials including towels, cleaning items, olive oil, salt/pepper, pots, pans, utensil etc.. It was warm and the fireplace was easy to use, house was very cosy and comfortable. The email received day before check-in advised pool was closed May-Sept which was frustrating as it's pictured in listing & one of the reason I chose this ppty. Also information from host's emails was inconsistent with that in 'House Rules' book at ppty, which was confusing. Email says no pets, but book said yes to pets. The house rules book also state guests are to empty dishwasher and bins before leaving, which wasn't in email, in addition to leaving clean benches. I didn't want to be charged an extra cleaning fee because I didn't take the kitchen bin bag out.
- Dee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annette (9/5): we felt comfortable in a home away from home - It was cosy, warm and thoughtfully fitted out.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harriett (10/5): lovely location. Gorgeous villa with excellent facilities. We will be back - The property is well laid out with everything you need. The fire makes it so cosy. The beds are really comfortable. Perfect location to walk to cafes, shops and bars. The only thing I could say is that it could use a small coffee pod machine.
- Megan (8/5): Nice location, a pleasant stay. - An excellent location, very easy to find.Comfortable beds. Advertised a heated indoor pool, it wasn’t warm enough to swim in. The plumbing is very noisy and there are no toilet facilities downstairs, you have to go into one of the bedrooms upstairs.
- Simone (10/5): Exceptional - The Villa is beautifully and tastefully decorated
The location, peacefulness and welcome extended made for a great weekend stay..
- Jayne (10/5): Beautiful villa and the hosts have thought of everything. Highly Recommend. -
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Everything other than what we were disappointed with. This was our second stay. On the first occassion the indoor swimming pool area was below normal cleanliness expectations,. On the second, it was worse, including, e.g. a broken pot planter, spilt sool centrepedes in pool water and discarded panty-liner behind the pot plant. The pool and area is a major attraction for families with children and should therefofe be well very clean and well presented.
- Nandha25 (8/5): Excellent location - Excellent Location. Clean property. N.A
- Doris (9/5): Superb - Location, comfort - wonderful For those who like to prepare meals salt, pepper and oil are staples. These were in very short supply.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Steckoll (8/5): Very good -
- Cameron (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alon (9/5): Superb -
- Trudy (9/5): The villa was comfortable, clean and central - Great central location, easy to find, easy to get around I found the bed a little too firm, but my friend was happy with their mattress
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mrdynamic (9/5): Very comfortable - We were two couples and this worked really well for 3 nights with two really large bedrooms upstairs, both with large ensuites and TVs. The downstairs amenities in the villa were also great including ample glassware, cups and cutlery etc. Two comfy couches, books, music, TV, cosy gas log fire for chilly nights. Didn't do any cooking as such, but it was all there if we wanted that option. Easy walk down to the supermarket for supplies or to the local pubs for drinks and dining. A home away from home.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good but could be better - Everything except that some cutlery, crockery and glass coasters were not perfectly clean; bathroom basins drained too slowly; and wifi did not initially work due to faulty modem that was switched on while a temporary replacement modem had been switched off.. See below listed exceptions.
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - Great location and the villa had everything we needed and the pool was a bonus
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krithika (9/5): Superb -
- Oya (7/5): Good - Location, the bedding, the spa, fireplace, house very nicely decorated, TV in every room. House is much smaller than it looks in ads. Two small Couches only for 4 of us
Indoor pool was not heated as advertised
Had issues with internet but they provided a mobile one eventually
There was no dishwasher tablets or binliners which is a it odd for the price we paid for.
We ended up buying our own so that we can throw away the rubbish and avoid handwashing the dishes.
Shower rail is broken, almost fell on our head.
No shampoo in one of the bathrooms
- Greg (8/5): - Nice unit good stay
- Leonie (8/5): - Lovely self contained unit. Enormous beds & awesome showers. Great location. Only thing that let it down was it wasn’t as clean as I would have liked.
- Kelly (2/5): Not worth it - When we booked we were told that people making noise would be evicted and we’re given a contact number. The property is in a group of 11. We had extremely loud neighbours who were up smoking, drinking and listening to loud music. We asked them to quieten and they were rude. I called the number on the listing (From 10-12) and there was no answer. Then I gave up. We didn’t get to sleep until 3:30. I asked for a refund and got a text apologising for the noise saying it wasn’t their fault. Once you check in you’re on your own and run the risk of copping loud neighbours. Too expensive for what it felt like was staying in a loud trashy caravan park.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Overall, it was a great experience. Commuincation was excellent and the kids loved the pool.
