• Manon (8/5): Luxurious Homestay - Super friendly and welcoming staff. I didn't realise I booked a homestay but for me it was a plus. The room was spacious and clean and the aircon working beautifully. A shared fridge/ free filtered water is great in terms of sustainability. The scooter rental that they provide is also excellent as the surrounding streets are not pedestrian friendly and going around in a car is a waste of time because of all the traffic. Yet, the property is quiet with beautiful views to rice terraces. The mattress and pillows were too hard for my liking. However my partner didn't mind so it's personal preference. Also bear in mind that some of the facilities mentioned in Booking.com are not available like laundry service or spa. So I hope that gets updated :). Of course you can find this easily in Ubud Centre. Lastly, the pool wasn't looking that clean, so I didn't use it.

• Ursula (5/5): - Owners were friendly, location was rather calm for ubud. Location next to rice fields was nice, but during our 2 night stay the farmers constantly burned their trimmings. Horrible smell but out of control of our host of course. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Calcifications in bathroom, toilet not clean, found old qtips in bed. Shared kitchen was absolutely filthy.

• Holzer (10/5): - Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Alles war sehr sauber und die Inhaber waren ausgesprochen freundlich. Das Frühstück ist zwar im Preis nicht mit inbegriffen, kann aber täglich für 75K hinzu gebucht werden. Das Frühstück war ausgesprochen lecker und hat unsere Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Alles in Allem war diese Unterkunft wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist auch sehr angenehm, da man dem trubeligen UBUD mal entkommen kann. Was uns noch sehr gefallen hat waren die Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich, das Pool und die Gemeinschaftsküche. Wirklich zu empfehlen Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb und mit dem Auto sehr mühsam zu Rush Hour Zeiten in und aus UBUD zu fahren, mit dem Roller ist dies sicher weit aus angenehmer.
• eleonora (9/5): Oasi di serenità fuori dal caos di Ubud - La struttura è confortevole e la famiglia che la gestisce molto accogliente e disponibile per diversi servizi (tra cui l'affitto di motorini). Posizione perfetta per coloro che vogliono sfuggire, almeno per dormire, al caos del centro di Ubud. Non servono la colazione, ma in compenso c'è una cucina a disposizione degli ospiti. Purtroppo, nonostante la stanza al nostro arrivo fosse molto pulita, nei giorni della nostra permanenza non è mai stata neppure sistemata né è mai stato cambiato il cestino del bagno.
• Koen (9/5): Een prachtige rustige locatie op een korte scooter rit van Ubud centrum - Echt een top locatie, hier wat toppunten! - Een prachtige locatie met uitzicht op rijstvelden. Ook even weg van drukke weg waardoor het lekker rustig is. - Heerlijk fris zwembad (Tip, neem een kamer boven anders lopen er steeds mensen langs je ramen/deuren). - Kamer erg schoon, handdoeken en douchegel etc. geleverd. - Een watertank die je mag gebruiken, erg eco-friendy. - een volledige keuken waar je gebruik van mag maken, koelkast dus niet in kamer! - Ook kwalitatief goed ontbijt bij locatie mogelijk voor bijbetaling, goede porties én een dessert erbij! Geen dingen die echt storend waren, maar wil ze wel benoemen - De weg naar de accommodate toe is wat hobbelig - Het douche water was niet echt warm helaas - Wij bleven 5 dagen maar lakens werden helaas niet verschoond. Bij langer verblijf zal je hier om moeten vragen.

My son especially loves Ibu Ani <3 [Thank you so much!] The place is quiet, and we had a nice peaceful view of the rice paddies. Room and bedding comfortable. Pondok Uma was super fantastic value, expectations exceeded. Nothing really.

• Bas (10/5): Very nice place with very good value for money - Beautiful, clean room with very good aircon. The pool is nice and cold after a long day of touring the rice fields or temples and a very good spot to wash away the grime of Ubud centre. You can use the communal kitchen where there’s also water provided. But the stars of the show are Kadek and his wife Ani! They are so genuinely nice and helpful. Sadly I had to cut my stay short but I will surely be coming back next time I’m in Bali Absolutely nothing. 10/10

• Kashif (7/5): Good - the environment is very quiet here away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud and roads. Location also very good if you have a bike or car. Toilet door wont close and creaks like very loud. Plus there are alot of ants and we had a lizard when we went in our room. if you are on the ground floor you wont have any privacy if someone is swimming in the pool as its right outside your room. lacks facilities like washing machine and ironing but not a big deal
• Jonathan (9/5): Superb - It was a great experience staying at Pondok Uma Ubud. The room was large and very comfortable, I had great sleep. The place is located in a quiet area with rice fields view. It's outside of the noise and crazy traffic of Ubud centre, while not being too far so it was quite easy to get to the centre if needed. The hospitality of Kadek and his family was the best part of all. Always making sure everything was going well and trying to be extra caring all the time. I totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful area outside of Ubud centre. Everything was perfect during my stay.

Friendly and nice hosts. Besides, this guesthouse offers a car driver and some motorbikes to know Bali. Free filtered water and shared fridge. Tasty and healthy breakfast although expensive. We were 6 days in the room with the same bathroom towels. There is no laundry service..
• Desiree (10/5): Exceptional - I don’t have enough good words to say ano it my stay here. I was able to tap in to the Bali way of offering ceremonies here at the house led by our wonderful host Ani. Our place was so careful laid out with every detail making me feel like I was at home. Both hosts feel like family and made sure we beyond satisfied. We were also offered in room healing massages that rejuvenated my soul and spirit in ways I never new I could reach. If you are in Ubud this is the home for you.
• Richard (10/5): Fantastic Stay at a Beautiful Guesthouse - Beautiful Guesthouse and lovely family! We loved our stay here, rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The family who runs the guesthouse are very friendly and helpful and great to be around! Short scooter ride / taxi to the main town. Set out on a quiet street amongst the fields! A great stay and would certainly return! ( also provide scooter ) 10/10 -
• Celso (10/5): Relaxing and friendly place to stay - The place is clean and well maintained by the family who own the place. They were always there to assist with anything we needed. The location is great. Only 2 minutes walking from the main road where you can get transport to anywhere in Ubud. Quiet location to relax and have a good sleep. The wifi is good in case you need to work from home. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning to Pondok in the future. This is the only 10/10 place we stayed in Ubud. Nothing. Everything is amazing.

The bed was excellent, quite firm which I liked and it was a king size I believe. WiFi very good, over 150mb and fine for video calls. The family who own the guesthouse were very welcoming and allowed me to rent a scooter. We were also invited to the end of their ceremony where we had some of their lovely food. This was a nice experience that made me feel like guests are part of their family. Bathroom shower head was spraying water everywhere so it made showering quite difficult, this could be sorted by replacing the shower head. The drainage in the shower was poor so I was standing in water, so I think it needed to be unblocked. Average cleanliness in the shared kitchen area.

• Lawrence (7/5): Overall not bad for the 30-35k a night - Quiet. Air conditioner worked well, lots of hot water, free water. Gojek has no problems delivering here. Money exchange around the corner has BEST rates in Ubud. Host very friendly and speaks excellent English. Wifi was a bit spotty. Sand in my sheets when I checked in, though they were clean. Floors felt clean but they looked a bit dirty especially in the bathroom and shower.

The area is quiet, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the air-conditioning and wifi work perfectly, the pool is clean, the communal kitchen stocked with everything you need for basic cooking, and the family are so lovely and helpful. The only thing to keep in mind is the distance to and from the main town - Grab bikes are a fraction of a dollar each way though and affordable scooter rental available from the hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!

I would stay again. - Family owned, nice view on the second floor of the rice fields, quiet especially for Ubud, the bedding was comfortable, owner very nice and attentive. The kitchen for the guest needs clean accommodations: new sponge to clean dishes, the cutting board is moldy - the little things can make a huge difference.
• Leslie (10/5): Exceptional - Incredibly beautiful and peaceful homestay. Above all, it was the host Cardek, that made the stay feel very special, he even got me to ride on a scooter, and felt so safe In his care. Wish I could stay for longer! Couldn't pick out a single thing I could improve!
• Deborah (9/5): The guest house is highly recommended, and best appreciated when you have your own transport. - Ani and Kardik, who have the guest house, are very friendly, caring and helpful, and treat the guest house and visitors as a really nice extension of their home and family. The guest house rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable and had views of the rice paddy fields, the pool was clean, and the kitchen enabled basic cooking on the gas hobs. For people renting/ using motorbikes or cars the location was super. The location was challenging for me to walk as I intended (and desire), due to the heat and no side walk on much of a very busy road and distance into Ubud centre. However the owners very kindly offered me rides on the back of the motorbike each day when they were travelling to Ubud, and Grab and Gojek bike transport is also available at small cost (approx 12,000 IDR each way).
• Artem (9/5): Excelent! I highly recommend! - Kadek and his family are very kind and friendly people! They were always ready to meet on any issue and were ready to help in any situation. We even witnessed a ceremony being held at the temple on the hotel - it was very interesting. And Kadek's wife treated us to delicious food, which she cooked herself. The hotel has a pleasant communal swimming pool. The kitchen and refrigerator are shared. The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance of the market and kiosks with fruits and vegetables. It takes 10 minutes to get to the center of Ubud by bike. The speed of free wi-fi is quite low. Near the hotel there is some popular villa where noisy concerts are held every evening. This may prevent you from sleeping.

• Kristapsvilcans (8/5): Very good - The family who owns the hotel is super nice, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Their cat is so patient and sweet that even our baby could cuddle it. Room was clean, simple and I was super happy that air in the room was fresh and there were no bad smells. Bathroom shower space was huge and finally in Asia I got really hot and good high pressure shower. Also big bonus what the hotel has is its common kitchen and dining zone, where you can meet new people, who are also super friendly and glad to share their travel experience. Wi-fi worked perfectly. Overall we had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Ants everywhere, but I think that is because there isn't daily cleaning.
