• Madonna (10/5): A very kind welcome to Tbilisi - I had a wonderful stay here. The owner Andro is genuinely one of the kindest and most welcoming hosts I’ve encountered while traveling. From the moment I arrived he went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and settled in. The hospitality felt very personal and sincere, and it made my first night in Tbilisi especially pleasant and easy. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long journey. It’s rare to come across such thoughtful and attentive hosting. I would happily stay here again and can warmly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I genuinely can't think of anything other than they don't serve breakfast.

Отзывчивые хозяева, невероятный песик:) Бронировали из-за чудесного вида с террасы (прикрепляю фото), но кроме этого все было отлично — регулярная уборка, все нужные приборы, отличный интернет, телевизор с многочисленными каналами. Отдельно отмечу перегородку в душе, не везде есть, поэтому не заливает ванную комнату водой Быстро решались вопросы, не возникло никаких проблем с заселением ночью, оплатой после того, как поменяем в городе деньги, а также забыли худи, после чего хозяйка сразу написала, договорились сразу, когда можно будет забрать 🙏🏻 Обязательно вернемся!

• Camilo Andres (9/5): - We really enjoyed our stay in Ma Xata. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We felt at home. The place has a nice terrace for a relaxed time and nice views, they also have a cute dog. Nothing really to complain about the place itself. We tried to walk to the city center and it was not so easy because of the traffic and non existing sidewalks. However, taxis are very affordable and it is only 10 minutes to the city center.

• Willem (8/5): Nice views over Tbilisi from the rooftop and good working AC - We loved the view from the roof, the good AC, the clean bathroom and the reasonable price. Parking was on the street, no issues. Door was a bit hard to open and close but once you know how to it’s not that bad. Owner only takes cash which is a bit annoying as this wasn’t communicated beforehand.

• Vlad (10/5): Gorgeous view of Tbilisi - The view from this hotel is the main appeal of the location. It is a very beautiful and serene view of Tbilisi at all times of day/night. The hosts are very accommodating and happy to help. The location is slightly further from town center, but it is a reasonable ~20-25min walk or a very quick and cheap ~6 lari Bolt taxi away from the town center.
• Robert (10/5): Great view above Tbilisi - Excellent location with view over all of Tbilisi. Has a rooftop which you can use at night to enjoy the nightlights of the city. Room had lots of natural light and was clean. Very friendly hosts.
• Arjun (7/5): Great place for couples! - The view from the room and the terrace was great - both morning and night views are beautiful. The room had an iron box, electric kettle with lovely instant coffee and the usual toiletries. The owner of the property is a wonderful and helpful gentleman, who was very kind and responsive. Strange thing was there wasn't water in the room, but this seems to be a thing across Georgia - even restaurants don't serve water by default. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't available, which the owner clarified was due to drop in tourism as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war. Another minor feedback was the size of the room was a bit small for a "Suite". Everything else was fantastic!

For those, who complain about having to walk uphill to get to the hotel - a taxi from the hotel to the central park takes 5 minutes and costs pennies. Lack of availability of breakfasts.

• Zhanna (10/5): Clean and nice place in Tbilisi. - My husband, son, and I stayed at Ma Xata for one night, and it was a pleasant experience. The place was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed, including shower gel, towels, shampoo, and toothbrushes. Even though we made the booking last minute and arrived around 9:00 PM, we were welcomed warmly. The address was clear, so we found the place easily. The property features a nice yard and a relaxing rooftop area with city views. They also have a cute dog who barks at first but becomes friendly and playful. If you’re not a dog lover, it might be helpful to know that the dog is kept on the first floor, behind a small gate, so it shouldn't be a problem. One thing to note is that the stairs are spiral, so if you prefer not to navigate stairs, you might want to choose a room on the 3rd floor. Overall, we liked the place and recommend it.

• Robin (9/5): Just outside the city, perfect views - The view of the city is beautiful! Watching the sunset from the roof terrace with some wine and snacks, really nice. The room itself is also great, very spacious and comfortable and it's all nicely put together. In 15 minutes you can walk to the Sameba cathedral (or just order a taxi and you can be anywhere in the city within 10min). Can highly recommend staying here. For us it was the perfect ending of our Georgia trip It would be nice to have a light switch by the bed (or maybe just a small lamp) so you don't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights

We sat there and watched a beautiful sunset!!! We really enjoyed our stay. Great value for money!! Just a couple of things: location wasn’t the most convenient and payment was cash only. But no dramas at all.. we worked around and would stay there again :)

• Codi (10/5): Warm welcome to Tbilisi from a room with a view - The host picked us up from the airport and made us feel safe and at home straight away. The room was comfortable and clean, the view was lovely and from the rooftop it was amazing. The place is up on a hill so, there is lots of walking if you dont plan to take taxi or Bolt (which is very easy todo) but we liked the workout after eating all that delicious Georgian food.

• Lyazzat (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money. For a desirable price you’ll get a modern extra clean room with an incredible view on Tbilisi. Waking up to that view was something else. If you’re debating between staying somewhere in the city center or in Ma Xata, definitely choose Ma Xata. Taxi to the city center will cost you 3-4 lari ($1-1.5), a stay in the city center won’t offer the same amenities and comforts for the same price.

I’m not the one who set the prices. secondly I could not sleep due to being uncomfortable from the mattress I felt the steel springs in my back. last draw the owner ignore my requests when I asked for something.. The main issue for me he was not professional like I felt I’m staying for free I did pay my stay and where the price was lower only because I have genius discount which is around 10 Lari just be aware no privacy since there is no window only glass door where guests pass by if you have the same room I booked
• Olala (8/5): Very good - We liked the view on the historic landmarks. The terrace on the roof was especially cool. We appreciate that the owner met us at 3 am at the airport. The room and bathroom look modern and rennovated. The mattress and towels need replacement that is apparently planned to be done during the winter. The breakfast wasn't available on some days. On arrival you need to pay in cash in local currency that was not convenient.

• Zanari (9/5): Superb - The room was lovely and clean. The host was friendly and spoke good English. The building had a great rooftop area available with great view of Holy Trinity Cathedral. Coffee and tea available as well as a mini fridge in your room, toiletries available and modern bathroom. There isn't much privacy if you open the curtains because people can see in from outside. It's the only source of natural light but otherwise a great stay. Thank you.
