• Judith (9/5): Would love to stay there again! - We loved the location of our rental cottage, beautiful view! Very friendly staff. Couldn't figure out how to use TV's. Also, tried several times through messaging and a couple calls to get the 25% discount on our stay from a promotion code on the web site: "26EARLY25" nobody has ever responded. Booking.com said to contact property and we did still no response, and booking.com is supposed to match anything also, would be nice to get the $430 credit back.

• Julia (5/5): - I love that it was right on the water and you can control your own temperature and it was pretty quiet I did not like the fact that there were no hangers when I got there I had ask for some and the lights were turned off and not working. so I asked the office manager to come and give me new bulbs, and my sink was backed up so they had to fix that. but other than all those issues I would love it and I would definitely stay there again making sure those things are not an issue

• Regina (5/5): The bath was terrible the mattress was worn out. - The beach area was pretty good The bathroom was terrible. When you sat on the toilet your feet were in the shower. To look in the mirror and use the sink you had to stand sideways because the sink faced one direction and the mirror was 90 degrees from the sink. The shower was really good.

Clean and friendly staff. Only down side was mattress and pillows were not comfortable. Very squeaky bed maybe from the base not sure.

Across the road a good bakery ,Decent restaurants also a few minutes walk .Fabulous very large gift shop and a great clothing store also a short walk .We were very comfortable there. Nothing
• Scott (7/5): Lack of facilities and broken furniture - Location was good. Room was clean. The pullout bed was broken, and the management said they knew it was broken but didn't replace it. We had to pull the mattress out of it so my wife could sleep on the floor every night we are there. Also, we reserved the cottage with a full kitchen with the intent to cook some meals, but the first time we used it to make breakfast, the smoke alarm went off and wouldn't stop until we opened all the windows, the door, turned in the bathroom fan and just stopped cooking. Never cooked again. We had food for the grill by the pavilion, but the grill was rusted and the propane hose was broken so the grill was no good. After 4 days we left with a lot of uncooked food and had to eat out for every meal

• Margi (4/5): When we arrived in 95 degree weather the A/C was not on. This is a mobile home in the hot sun- it was uninhabitable. - Nice spot on the bay, BBQ grill and swimming area nice. Unit wasn’t clean, there were a lot of roaches. Could not accommodate a 25 ft boat. Had to leave the boat offsite miles away.

• David (8/5): Staff lacking but facilities clean, nice. - The room/cottage was very clean. It was a little smaller than we were expecting but was okay for time we were there. The “beach” area for the property was great. We made use of the kayaks there and also got some amazing sunset pics. Nice place to relax! My wife had tried calling the office multiple times prior to the trip to ask some questions. No one ever answered the phone or returned her phone calls. Also, we asked one of the staff for hand soap for the bathroom. She said she would drop some off but never did. One other small thing is that the coffee maker in the room did not work.

• Winkler (7/5): Beautiful location if you can find it. - This location has BEAUTIFUL sunsets and a nice area to relax. We stayed in the motel on the property. Our room was not cleaned each day like a normal hotel. Our bathroom door (a sliding barn door style) wouldn't stay closed. When we tried to report this to the office, we couldn't ever find anyone around to report it to. Also, the sign and entrance to this location are very hard to find. We passed it twice before finding the entrance. It's a "one-way" entrance so if you miss it you have to go past it and turn around.
• Karissa (7/5): Taken over by people not even staying there - Clean. Dog friendly. Community kayaks. 10-15 people who weren't staying there showed up & had a party with people who were staying there. They took over the patio area with loud music and decorations. Basically, it made it impossible to enjoy the beach area. The black top was very hot on dogs' feet. The toilet was situated so that you had to put your feet in the shower. That was strange.
• Gaynor (10/5): Excellent place to stay - We loved it, such an amazing place. The cottage was brilliant, really spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location. The best part was the dock. Loads of seating overlooking the water, a mini beach with loungers, fire pits, a bbq, and a dock if you have a boat. It's one of our favourite places we've ever stayed. I can't wait to come back. The location was great for exploring the Keys. We did a day trip to Key West, and Islamorada was only a half-hour drive. A couple of restaurants within walking distance too. Only one tiny issue was the bed. the mattress was a bit springy.

Room was very small & needed detailed cleaning (specifically baseboards). Some hooks on the wall & a shelf in the bathroom would help because there was little room for luggage & personal items. Bring earplugs if staying in a room- the highway is noisy.

• Anne (2/5): Bait and switch - The beach area was clean and had plenty of chairs and lounge chairs. The room was not clean - hair all over the shower wall and on the bathroom floor. The coffee maker didn’t work and most importantly the room was not what was advertised. We believed we were renting mini cottages with small kitchen and got micro hotel rooms instead. No staff ever available to share our concerns about the dirty bathroom etc.
• S (10/5): Great value for our stay. - All went well with the stay. We stayed in one of the "motel" rooms and it was ample size for purpose of our stay. We were in town for a wedding down the street so not in room but to sleep and shower. Adrianna, one of the managers, was great in helping us get in early. Would stay again. The little beach area overlooking the water is beautiful. Wish we could have made for use for it but were only in town for a few days.
• Joe (10/5): Beautiful! - Spotlessly clean. Lovely sitting area by the water with plenty of seating, barbecue and boats access. The view is gorgeous.... especially the glorious sunsets. Nice community feel. Nothing about the place in itself. Our only complaint is we didn't stay long enough

• Laura (7/5): Good - Great location! The room was very clean and staff was friendly. The room and the bathroom was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures. It would have been helpful to have a full length mirror in the room since the bathroom mirror was in a very awkward position.
• Karen (10/5): We were very happy with our stay. - We had a motel room and it was clean and modernized. The sunsets over the water were beautiful. We should have picked a larger motel room or cabin for our 4 nights, however, that was our mistake, not the Sun Outdoors.

• Dennis (8/5): Very good - The location was convenient to the things we were doing. We rented a room which was spare but enough to work for us. Parking was slightly tight for us but fine. Others with large sums or trucks might have to work to get out if they are filled up in season

We hear everything that neighbour did next to us (each word he told to telephone, each coughing etc). There was wi-fi, but it didnt reach to our room :( I only could use this behind our door outside and it was very uncomfortable :( In our room wi-fi kicked me just out. There was possible to grill, but unfortunately no plates, forks, knives.

The community grill was awesome and available kayaks were cool too. The natural beach area made my boyfriend a little nervous and was pretty small. The ice machine was always empty, think they need less W/D and larger ice machine. The bathroom door didn’t stay closed.

Bikes were all very rusty and chains were dislodged. There were 2 bikes that were rideable and they both had barely any air in the tires. When we called staff about it, we were told there was nothing that could be done.

There is a sitting area by the water which was great to watch the sunset and just relax. The room we had was very small. The bathroom in particular was very uncomfortable. There was zero space between the toilet and shower. The mirror was not over the sink but off to the side and very uncomfortable if you wanted to use it.

Air freshener noises every 30 mins x24 hrs x 5 days. Water pressure was horrible, mirror faced the shower, toilet to close to the shower. Door look was key outdated.

• Jennifer (10/5): Would stay again if ever came back to this area - Really liked the privacy of having our own cottage, the many rooms it provided and that it had a washer/ dryer. The water access and seating at water edge was great. We didn’t use but nice to see option to barbecue and sit by the firepit. All was good, I would just say that the barn doors needed some fixing, one to bathroom was hard to open/close and was rubbing paint off so we just left open which was no problem just being the two of us.
