• Yuliia (8/5): - Great hostel with a perfect location! Everything is within walking distance – the beach, restaurants, and Walking Street. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. The place is very clean, the rooms and common areas are well maintained. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, which makes it a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.

• Margaux (8/5): - l’emplacement est au top. vous êtes au milieu de l’île. les propriétaires sont très gentils et les équipements sont ok. les chambres sont semi-privative mais c’est bien expliqué avant de prendre la chambre, je n’étais pas surprise.

Väldigt lyhört. Ofta smutsiga toaletter. Dåligt tryck i kranarna i handfaten. Varmt både i badrummet och i rummen.

• Raúl (3/5): No repitiria - No volvería nunca. Mucho ruido con las puertas .pero mucho mucho. Para descansar es imposible . Son habitáculos partidos con comunicación por la parte de arriba,tipo colmena .las habitaciones son ridículas de pequeñas . La wifi algo muy importante no iba bien ,se caía o iba lento. El sistema de las puertas es con tarjeta ,si se quedaba alguna sin cerrar bien pitaba hasta que la cierres . Se liaba un ruido en horas puntas increíble . Es como si fuese habitaciones compartidas pero con algo de privacidad . No pude reservar otra cosa porque es lo que quedaba . Estoy seguro que los que estábamos por allí era por lo mismo que yo. No habían encontrado nada en otro sitio.

• Marta (8/5): - Jestem bardzo pozytywnie zaskoczona! Cichy, czysty hostel, w świetnej lokalizacji. "pokoje" to tak naprawdę łóżko i pół metra podłogi, więc z dużymi bagażami jest to niezbyt wygodne, ale na 2-3 noce ok
• Carole (8/5): Ambiance sympa et chouettes rencontres - Très bon accueil dans cette auberge tenue par un sympathique couple Thaïlandais, Nid et Aio, aux petits soins pour moi toute la semaine. Merci beaucoup ☺️ ! J’y ai fait de belles rencontres et je me suis sentie comme à la maison. Il y a de nombreux Wc et douches à disposition et la literie est confortable. Chambres sombres mais fraîches donc agréables pour se reposer. Un frigo est à la disposition de tous et c’est très pratique. On peut réserver des excursions en bateau sur place à des prix intéressants. J’ai fait l’excursion B avec la visite de 7 îles + snorckeling que je recommande vivement ! Hôtel situé à proximité des embarcadères des bateaux et de la rue principale avec commerces et restaurants. La chaleur sur la terrasse devant l’entrée est assez étouffante et un ventilateur serait appréciable. Il y a beaucoup de circulation de motos et c’est assez bruyant à l’entrée de l’hôtel. Les « semi-rooms » sont des chambres dont les murs font 2m de hauteur et ne montent pas jusqu’au plafond. Il n’y a donc pas d’intimité sonore dans les dortoirs. Prévoir des bouchons d’oreilles et un masque pour les yeux. Les voyageurs étaient plutôt calmes pendant mon séjour et j’ai globalement bien dormi.
• Marek (9/5): - Hosts are really friendly and helpful. Will go an extra mile to help with anything. Beds were big and comfortable. It's not a seaside location but 5-10m walk to any of the beaches. This hostel has a lot of showers and toilets. You'd never have to queue for any of them and they were cleaned on the regular basis. I just don't understand people complaining about this place, it's not a 5 star hotel, it's a hostel. The room's walls would finish 1 meter from the ceiling to allow aircon air to get in. Get ear plugs and prepare to share small space with other people, it's a hostel. A fan at the smoking area would be an improvement.

• Roope (4/5): Enough for quick sleep, clean shared toilets. Wouldn't stay longer stays - Bed was comfortable, offered a good night sleep. They were kind enough to check me in although they were already sleeping themselves I was about to go to sleep, when owner rushed in the room with his own key (without knocking), asking for deposit amount. While I didn't have enough for the deposit in my wallet, he came intrusively checking for any change I had. Wasn't refunded the deposit at all.

• Rob (6/5): Pleasant - Good location! A little noisy as the walls in private rooms here don’t go to the ceiling, so it’s like a bunch of double beds in a dorm with walls separating each one. Not a huge issue, but can be noisy if others go out and come back in the middle of the night. Great, kind staff, was clean.

• Jennifer (7/5): Good - A nice place to stay, just around the corner from the walking street. As it is a hostel with semi closed rooms, you will hear others, but overall it wasn't a big problem. The room itself was very small though which was a challenge with our luggage. Lots of showers and toilets which were cleaned on a regular basis. You can borrow snorkel equipment free of charge.
• Eva (9/5): Good value stay - The location was great close to everything you need and the staff were very helpful we did laundry whilst we were here which was very efficient. The rooms are very compact and as stated it is a semi private room as the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling so can be loud and feel more dorm - style than private but it is good value for money in Koh Lipe compared to other options.

Room could be cleaner (stains in linens, holes in walls). Room was also really small. Shared spaces (showers and toilets) was ok but could be also cleaner. Room was little overpriced (typical in Koh Lipe).

• Natalia (6/5): Well located, it’s ok for one or two nights but don’t expect any privacy in semi private room - The hostel is very well located only a few steps away from the main walking street. Having multiple showers and bathrooms is nice. We stayed in a “semi private room” and the bed was comfortable and AC was nice. They don’t really have any common areas to chill, it would be nice to have a designated area for this. Although there were plenty of bathrooms and showers, they were dirty and toilet paper was often missing. Trash was not taken out very often. The rooms are not really a room but more of a dorm with walls in between. We knew this before booking but we didn’t think it would be that bad. And turns out the room was extremely tiny and unfortunately for us, our neighbors were very loud and not considerate at all with the noise late at night. Which means you could have a hard time to sleep if you’re sensitive to snoring, farting or doors opening in general.

I liked the cleanliness, how central it is and how everyone respects evening time by keeping quiet. The aircon was on too high and I would wake up in the mornings with a scratchy throat

Given that these are not separate rooms, but a large room with a nursing area, where the walls are not up to the ceiling, it really depends on who lives next to you. The first night we had very noisy neighbors. We couldn't sleep much. The next nights were okay. You have to expect that you can hear absolutely everything. The rooms are tiny, but enough for a night's sleep. The whole hostel is very clean, the beds are comfortable. The owners are nice and helpful. The location off the busiest street is also pleasant. Good accommodation for two or three nights. There is no information on Booking that the rooms do not have windows. This can be stressful for some.

Really friendly staff:) door beeped if wasn’t closed properly but barley gave you chance to get In the room, quite annoying. also description on internet doesn’t really portray how the rooms actually are - there is 10 beds in one dorm, was expecting something more private/ quieter.

Doors are incredibly loud and also admit an alarm if not closed promptly. This happens regularly throughout the night. False sense of security/privacy lead to people having loud sex in dorms.
• Faisal (10/5): Beautiful and the same pictures💞 - The place is very nice. Wide beds. Good air conditioning. Each bed comes with two towels. They provide hot water and free coffee and sugar sachets. Men’s and women’s bathrooms are separate. You can hear everything happening in the surrounding rooms: snoring, phones, or even breathing and kissing.
• Alex (7/5): Good for the price you pay - Good location. Room & shared bathrooms were clean. Shower water was warm. Free drinking water. Lovely hosts who helped book our ferry on to Langkawi. Very noisy as the doors can’t shut without a bit of force otherwise a beeping noise goes off if not shut properly. Also have to whisper as you can hear everything from all rooms in the same dorm as you. Water pressure from sink taps is nonexistent.

The owners are very very friendly — and the prices for excursions was a bit cheaper when booked with them. Our room was TIGHT QUARTERS - but was just like the photos. With bags, it was tough— but doable.

Good price for excursions booked at the Hostel. Good aircon and comfortable bed. No privacy in the room due to a gap at the top of the wall.
• Schubeis (5/5): Passable - It’s like sleeping with 15 others in the same room, you even hear everyone breathing. If you can stand that this is good choice, but we didn’t realise how not private it was so was not a good experience even with the best of earplugs
• Bahar (9/5): Absolutely great value for money. - Location was great, 1 minute walking distance from walking street. Had a taxi stand right infront of the gate. Really clean shared toilets and shower. AC was ok. Convenient punch in cards. Very friendly hosts. Took a room where the walls are not attached to the ceiling, so a little noisy when someone walks in, slam doors or even talks in their cubicle. But it was okay for us as we knew that we signed up for a semi private rooms.
• John (8/5): Very good - Lovely staff, great location and reasonably priced for Koh Lipe! As they state, the rooms are "semi-private" which means you are essentially sharing a large dorm room albeit with your own private cubicle. This was fine for us for a few nights but probably not preferable for longer stays. The sinks in the bathroom weren't cleaned for the three nights we were there.

• Solobnbackpacker (8/5): Overall ok short stay but extended another week have me negative feelings from the cleaner. - Great hospitality by the owner/management hosting my stay. The cleaning lady is a little weird; she always goes in whenever I take shower or in toilet. But when I go toilet after she left, tissue roll finished not replaced and bins full not cleared. Uncertain her working hours is, she sweeps floor at 4am when I went to refill my water bottle. But the floor all still sands. Looks like she is asking for Asian attention wanting to get acquainted instead of performing her daily duty.
• Joe (8/5): Good facilities, comfortable bed, friendly staff - Property was very clean, good facilities, staff were very friendly and accommodating (Not a complaint as) I know the hostel are very clear about the size of the rooms but the ‘rooms’ are just a bit bigger than a double bed, the walls don’t go to the ceiling so you only have the illusion of privacy, you can hear everything from everyone else.
• Robert (10/5): Excellent value for money, comfortable sleep in a good location - The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were secure with door locks. The hostel was kept exceptionally clean which was nice. The hosts were very laid back and friendly. The location was excellent, within 5-10 minutes you could get to two of the beaches, a lot of great restaurants and activity organisers. Their dog was cute. This wasn't a problem for me but the hostel isn't too social.

• Rosie (7/5): Okay. - The guy was really friendly and there was free coffee in the reception. Didn’t sleep properly for our 3 nights due to the noise from other people. Although it is semi private, you can hear literally everything everyone does. The room is super claustrophobic for 2 people - we couldn’t open the door all the way. Bed pretty hard. Feel like if the rooms are this small and in such a hot country there should be an indoor common area to chill but there wasn’t so we got a bit of cabin-fever by the end.

• Frode (3/5): I Love Koh Lipe! - This is a very simpel hostel with no kitchen tv room ect. They put out a water boiler for tee coffe when I was there in the lobby. I like the bed in the small room Where the walls dont go All to the ciling, guess so you can get the benefits of the aircondition, see there pictures witch I did not before booking. I was in a rush finding a place for Songkran so put in my "request" on the app. Max Price private room and aircondition. 3 hits 2 hostel for sharing room. So I quikly without looking at pictures picked the last one Even if it was more expencive, hey Songkran righ and aircondition and private room. The aircondition is in the hallway and walls therfore? Are open on top on 3 sides. The size of the rooms are 2,4 meter x 3? Meters.
• Charles (8/5): Value for money semi-private rooms - Friendly owners, fantastic location, great value for money. Good showers in terms of space and water pressure. Cheapest laundry service we saw on the island. Perfect temperature of rooms with shared/centrally controlled air con. Would recommend this accommodation. We thought semi-private room meant shared bathroom, private room. We did not realise that the walls between the rooms did not meet the ceiling and therefore no privacy for conversations etc. Photos depict the rooms as being bigger than reality so it was a tight squeeze with two big backpacks.

• Vitor (8/5): Very good - The comments are true, you can hear every sound that they make in other rooms. But you need to consider you are paying the hostel price for a private room. So, in this sense it was a very option for me. I could just leave my things there and had a double bed for me. The space was clean and it is close to the main street. The problem of noise is actually more related to the lack of respect of others than the structure itself, because everybody knows you can hear everything.

• Jan526 (7/5): Its a dormitory!!!!!!!! - Fine, good beds. Its a dorm, not a hostel. A good dorm with walls (which do not go to the roof, its open) and a door. The problem is, people book it and dont know how to behave in a dormitory, maybe because they dont know its a dorm... . If they called it a dorm everything would be fine, but they call it hostel with your own (closed) room. its not private, the walls are open on the top. The locker of the doors is very noisy... .

The semi private rooms, of course, aren’t soundproof since they don’t have full walls, so you can hear the people in the other rooms. But it’s as advertised.

You hear everything since the wall does not go all the way up to the ceiling. Of course people are disappointed . Not what you expect of a private room. Shared facilities were not that clean. They should clean it more often. Especially emptying the bins. Toilettes always smelled bad.

• Megan (8/5): Great value for money! - Super value for money! The room was clean and comfortable with good working A/C! It’s a short 10/15 minute walk to the main strip but we didn’t mind this given the great value of the room. Would stay here again if we came to Lipe! Someone kept leaving a light on outside our room and I couldn’t find the switch anywhere to turn it off. This kept me awake some nights as it was so bright. I tried to contact the property or find some staff but no one replied/was around.
• Elliot (4/5): Disappointing - Location and staff were nice It said private room but the room wasn’t private at all. The walls of each ‘room’ didn’t even reach the ceremony meaning it felt like a dorm. You could hear every sound anyone in the room made.
