Guest Reviews
- Mark (10/5): - Excellent stop over for ubon airport. Plenty dining options in walking distance of hotel.
Excellent value for money
- Phui Yan (10/5): So worth it, clean and spacious room! - So clean! Spacious.
They cleaned the room everyday including changing sheets and towels and moping the floor. You also get 2 bottles of free water everyday.
Environmentally not that good that they changed sheets and towels everyday but there were also no signs to opt out of it.
I liked that there’s a balcony with sink and water and space to hang laundry! Also an empty fridge to store stuff.
For the price definitely worth it and would for sure stay again and recommend it to everyone who wants to go to Ubon!
- Kazuya (8/5): - I stayed during candle festival. Friendly reception staff and room is maintained cleanly. Location is perfect to access landmarks in central Ubon city. Overall, value for money. However, expect to have partition or bigger curtain to avoid spreading the water while taking shower in the restroom(there's tiny curtain splitting the toilet and shower, but it's too small).
- Mark (10/5): - Ideal for airport and only 500 baht good value .. free coffee and light breakfast in morning
- Sybille (8/5): - I liked the short way to the museum and the temples. The room was al little bit dark.

Had small issue with a broken / loose toilet seat & bathroom fan not working. Got offered change of room , which was good & welcome as stayed in that particular one before 😆

- Karen (8/5): Nice hotel - Good location, clean, and pleasant staff. This a complaint for a lot of hotels. It would be nice to create an outside seating area as you have the space.

Barer og restauranter i rimelig nærhet.
Kan absolutt anbefales!👍👍👍
Rimelig også! 💵
- Neil (10/5): Exceptional - Exceeded my expectations, very good value. Location is great, central and equidistant between bus and train stations, also close to airport. Night market and some attractions are just a short walk. Staff are very friendly and helpful and speak good English. The room was large and very well appointed. I highly recommend this hotel.
- Kean (10/5): Value for money - Great price, big room and great wi-fi.
- Jana (7/5): Good - Close to the night market. Park and river in walking distance (15-20 min) outdated

- Lisa (10/5): - The hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport which only cost 50 baht by taxi. Also it's super clean. They have a little area outside of hotel room to hand wash clothes and hang them up. The night market is about a 5 minute walk. Also plenty of places to shop and eat. My 2nd time staying here and will always use since I have family in Ubon area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Recommend. - Staff was friendly, helpful and informative. 👍 Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Location is good. For the price, staff and location I would highly recommend.

- Simonuk (9/5): Best Budget Stop in Ubon - Great value for money. Rooms are large with good facilities. Lots of cupboards, hanging, desk area etc. Good sized bathroom as well. Small balcony with sink for washing and hanging clothes.
All very clean with quality towels and bedding.
Hotel is bright and airy with a large display of art (copies) on the walls. Everything from Michelangelo to Monet.
Staff pleasant and helpful, rooms made up daily. Basic breakfast of toast and coffee. Nothing.
For the price it was great. Why pay more.

- Frank (9/5): Good value - Nice hotel, spotlessly clean, strong WiFi, comfortable bed, good shower. I enjoyed my stay.
- Rébecca (8/5): Solid choice for a layover in Ubon - This hotel is definitely good value for the price when you have a layover in Ubon. I had a huge king size bed (which I personally found very comfortable), a little balcony, a mini fridge, AC, hot and cold water. In the morning, you have complementary tea/coffee with bread, jam and patongo (Chinese doughnut). Bus 15 stops nearby if you need to go to the airport or bus station (20 THB). It’s located 10 minutes walking from the morning market and nigh market, which is very convenient for food options. WiFi works well.
- Frank (8/5): Good value Ubon hotel - A good value hotel, not far from a park. Good wifi, comfortable bed and reasonable shower which is all I need. Friendly staff.
- Zoran (9/5): Superb - Brick and clean room. Good location. Girls at the front desk helped with suggestions where to go. Pillows were hard.
- Jeab (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tara (9/5): Superb -
- Craw (10/5): Excellent hotel,staff very professional. - I didn't have the breakfast.
- Zeilinger (8/5): Immer wieder gerne! - It’s a funny place with all the copies of European art and the furniture. But seriously: I don’t know any other hotel in Thailand where you get so much value for your money! Big room, balcony, aircon, clean, what do you want more? I came back and shall again! Nice personal!
Shops and good restaurants near by. For what they charge for the room you can forget any negative things if thetr are any!
- Richard (8/5): loved staying here , as always. - I always stay here , staff are friendly and helpful. It is a very clean hotel , good value for money. my room was near the lift , I could hear it at night .
- Anthony (10/5): Hidden Gem - Great price, very nice room. Family Mart right nextdoor very convenient.5 stars Please update the description on Booking.com to include the swimming pool, it says there's not a pool ,so I didn't bring my swim trunks
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - It's the perfect hotel for me: All essentials, excellent value, perfect parking and good location! Breakfast opportunities are not so good.
- Circe (8/5): Very good -
- Jozef (9/5): Superb - Position stuff
- Paul (9/5): very good stay - it was a well run hotel, good room an staff
- Britlivingthailand (9/5): The stand-out room-only 'economy class'
hotel in Ubon - Location - within walking distance of many bars and restaurants and Tung Si Meuang (Candle Park). The River Mun, as it passes alongside the older Chinatown, is a short drive (15-20 minute walk).
The size and cleanliness of room/bathroom, the size/comfort of the 6 foot king bed and the hotel's easy parking (in addition to its location) makes this a standout high value icon amongst the budget hotels in Ubon town. I have been coming to the town and staying in hotels almost monthly for 13 years, but do try other hotels also. Phadaeng is my most regular choice.
While it does not have a regular breakfast- inclusive option, there are tables and chairs next to reception and early risers can get a 'help yourself' few small chinese donuts, bananas, toast and jam and coffee/tea. Come down later (say after 7.30 am) and the donuts and bananas typically will have gone! This is a unique free addition among the supposedly accomodation-only hotels in town. You will pay typically 200 to 300 baht more per room night for hotels with an equivalent accomodation standard and a sit down standard breakfast room.
For foreigners, reception staff speak some basic English and the owner's daughter is often around and is fluent. The hotel is regularly used by foreign tourists and Thai residing expats. Nearby (3 minutes walk) 'Wrong Way Bar Cafe' is a regular haunt for locally resident and visiting foreigners and has a good range of Thai and international food in addition to usual bar offerings of beer/spirits/wine (plus regular size pool table and sport events on TV). The ever-present lady proprietor is a fluent English speaker and good source of local information. The number of English speaking channels on the standard TV packages bought by the hotel seems to have deteriorated since Covid came along. The same is true of most other local hotels that I visit.
- Tj (9/5): Superb -
- Rirk (8/5): Very good -
- Don (9/5): Superb - Good value. Nice people.
- David (10/5): Great stay, will be back next year - Not applicable Nothing, happy with everything.
- Paal (9/5): Superb - Nice hotel, nice location, close to airport. All good
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- Renat (10/5): Exceptional - very nice and lovely place, with art and photo decor
- Joseph (6/5): Pleasant - These rooms are huge. It's quite dated and has rather old wooden furniture but all good. The bed was big comfortable and clean. The bathroom dated but clean. Some coffee, toast and fruit presented in the reception area in the morning. The room is very susceptible to noise from the next rooms because they're so big and echoing. The room next to me were loud until I had to bang on the wall at 4am.
- Roberto (10/5): Awesome - Considering how inexpensive this hotel is, the breakfast is not important. But they did have toaster, toast, jellies, and coffee.

Unfortunately we only could stay one night. All was fine.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Mouloud (8/5): Bel hôtel - Bon hôtel mais un peu éloigné du night market où ça vit le soir.
