Guest Reviews
- William (2/5): - After booking on your web site, where it stated that there was only one room left...we arrived to find that the property has NOT been open for months. We had to find a room, which was hard on a Friday afternoon. Also, we were worried that we would be charged for three nights in a place that was not open. The mail box was over flowing with mail, there was Xmas decorations still out. We are not happy at all.
- LARRY (10/5): - Super nice if you like the antique thing and quiet neighborhood of a small town!!
- Michael (10/5): - Had always wanted to stay here. Glad we finally did.
- Bruce (10/5): - Clean, antique ambiance. Friendly care. Needs met. Convenient location. Comfortable.
- Scott (10/5): - Excellent - best in Bellevue!
- bill (6/5): - Beautiful property, but didn’t live up to the online description. Refrigerator was broken (except for the very bottom of the freezer), so no hot breakfast available. Had a muffin and a bagel. No juice, milk, or fruit.
Front porch furniture was dusty and old. Didn’t sit down.
Lots of bagged munchies. No white wine, but there was some red in a wine cooler that was not working.
No ice machine as advertised. Had to fill up a plastic tray and put in the very bottom of the freezer. Then come back after an hour or so to break the ice cubes out.
- John (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay
- Christopher (10/5): - A trip back in time. Nicely maintained and updated. Host is very friendly and the inn offers an opportunity to experience what staying in a grand inn might be like 100 years ago.
- Kelly (10/5): - Upon arrival, Paul was very pleasant and accommodating. The Nautical Suite was adorable and with an amazing jetted tub. I didn’t want to leave. My mom-cation was perfect! I, certainly, will return for another getaway.
- Jennifer (8/5): - So I love this property and the room layouts! I’ve stayed here a few times. One of the main reasons I booked my stay here was for the breakfast in the morning, that I was able to enjoy my last two visits over the years. They had no breakfast offered to us during my stay. I always thought of this place as a bed-and-breakfast so I just always assumed that they would always have breakfast in the morning. Carolyn was a great check in host with great communication. The rate was awesome, and the Jacuzzi tub felt really nice.
- Mary (8/5): - The home was specious and lovely. Breakfast was made to order and the host was accommodating.
- Dale (8/5): - A step back in time.To a time when things were simpler.
- Diana (10/5): - It is a beautiful Victorian home filled with antiques. The property manager, Carolyn, was helpful with dinner suggestion and made a great breakfast for us.
Best wishes to her future success!
- Jack (10/5): Great B&B - Wonderful place to stay.
- Lloyd (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay.
- Robert (10/5): A Step Back in Time - We went on a short overnight getaway and decided instead of an Airbnb we would return to our original "go to" and stay in a Bed and Breakfast. After reading all reviews we decided on the Victorian Tudor Inn. The home was like stepping back in time with so many antiques and old furnishings. Richard has such an eclectic array of items he has collected over his years of travel and he has a story for all. It was so wonderful talking to and hearing about his adventures. We did not get to enjoy the amazing breakfast others had mentioned in their reviews as Richard was feeling a bit under the weather however Carolyn made us a simple yet filling breakfast and we were able to enjoy conversation during breakfast with her as well. Richard and Carolyn made our visit enjoyable and relaxing. Thank you to both.

- Kurt (10/5): Happy in Belleview - Great communication from host. Nice room in historical property. Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast to start the day! Great value for the price. Would absolutely stay here again.
- Donovan (10/5): - Loved it. Was our 1st B&B stay ever. Richard the owner and Carolyn, property manager, were so friendly and could 't do enough to make our stay outstanding. The Inn is beautifully decorated, the front porch is so nice to sit on and watch the world go by. Would definitely stay again. 5 star in my opinion!!! is very clean, homey feel, great hospitality!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our host Carolyn was gracious and accommodating. Beautiful house and furnishings.
- Helen (10/5): - Wonderful old house filled with beautiful antiques. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts. Carolyn and Richard were excellent and responsive hosts
- Sally E (6/5): - We were not given the room we reserved, but one at the very back of the house, upstairs. Not a queen bed, so it was small. There is no staff here overnight. The woman's response to everything was a giggle. And personally I found the political flags and posters around the place offensive. I don't appreciate being spoon fed political opinions.
- james (10/5): - All the charm it was like stepping back in time
- Michael (10/5): Jewel in Bellevue - This B&B is a jewel. It is an old house filled with antiques which makes a stroll through the public rooms very enjoyable. The bedrooms are all different. We stayed in the Nautica suite and loved it. A big, four-poster queen bed and a large closet, along with a very spacious bathroom graced with a large jacuzzi tub (separate shower also). This room is at the front of the house on the main street, so there is a little road noise, but it did not wake us up or bother us at all. And Richard is wonderful - so friendly and helpful, and he prepares the most amazing breakfasts!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect for a cute, romantic getaway - This was such a cute B&B! We were looking for somewhere close to Cedar Point and this was the perfect spot. Richard was a great host and very friendly. He made us breakfast (with fresh pressed coffee) and asked for any food allergies. The suite was perfect with a jacuzzi tub. Great for relaxing and a cute, romantic getaway.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner (Richard) was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so welcome and was just so friendly. He also made us a wonderful breakfast.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The owner is such a nice man I will definitely be returning here in the future
- Peter (10/5): Great place but needs a bit of de-cluttering - The proprietor is wonderful and attentive. My only suggestion is to de-clutter the interior do one feels more comfortable reading in the living room.
- Martha (10/5): - Very nice stay. Richard was an amazing host, very friendly, and helpful. Food was wonderful!
- Chris (10/5): - Nice little B & B, about 25 minute drive from CP.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful antique in a beautiful treasure of a home! Great breakfast!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was like staying overnight at a nice museum! The owner was super friendly and made a terrific breakfast!
- Kristy P. (10/5): Neverending coffee and endless charm - What a wonderful stay a very pleasant experience! The rooms were very clean. We even got a free upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi because the room we originally booked was just booked. Such charm and care put into this beautiful place. Only thing I would say is the bed was a bit firm but other than that everything was perfect!
- Dana (10/5): Beautiful and Interesting B&B stay - Beautiful home with an interesting history! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and great conversation with the owner. Highly recommend!
- Brad F. (10/5): Awesome - This was what the doctor ordered. The place was just perfect with how Richard decorated with the victorian theme. He was a perfect host, attending to our every need. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants a weekend getaway.
- Steve (10/5): Everything was perfect - Beautiful facility, very clean, pleasant host, great breakfast.
- Adam (10/5): - Cozy, Quiet, a place to unplug if you will. Richard the inn keeper was nice and didn't disturb us. Nice little breakfast in the morning. Visited Seneca Caverns and git up a local bar. Quiet town. Charming town. Nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Would recommend.
- DaveMac (10/5): - This is an amazing property. Please be sure to spend a few minutes getting to know Richard the owner. He is quite the historian and very personable. The Inn is decorated with loads of unique items and antiques. Rooms have set themes, our was Nautica, nicely decorated and very comfortable including a private bath with jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was delicious all sourced locally but best enjoyed conversing with Richard about the history of the inn and his background that brought him back to the area
- Rick (10/5): - Breakfast was marvelous. Very interesting conversation with the innkeeper.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great hospitality and conversation with owner , short drive to Lake Erie Sandusky area or Cedar Point
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The suite was roomy, the Inn is an antique buff's delight, the Innkeeper was welcoming and intetesting, and the breakfast was delicious. Felt comfortable in the common rooms.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was absolutely perfect. Richard the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met! He was extremely accommodating for my husband and I on our minimoon. The room was very clean and had a Jacuzzi tub. My husband and I were able to pick what time we wanted our breakfast the next morning and it was custom made. This was my first time staying at a B&B, but definitely not my last. I would come stay here again just for the fun of it!
- Leslie (10/5): Amazing - It was an amazing stay. Will come back again when in the area!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The home was amazing and Richard went above and beyond. The food was great and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone. What a wonderful experience.
- Jinnie (10/5): A peaceful and relaxing stay - The Inn was lovely, and Richard was a great host! We stayed in the nautical room, very comfortable with fun nautical decor. Richard made us a great breakfast, and made sure we had no food allergies or dietary restrictions first. The town is pretty sleepy, especially on a Sunday night - we were on a long weekend, so we're hoping to find a fun local pub - but we couldn't find any in this town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a beautiful B&B just a wonderful place to stay. Richard the owner was awesome very friendly and accommodating and had lots of interesting stories to share. I highly recommended staying here and we’ll be back next time we’re in the area!!!!
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Great time
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super cool and original like in build. Very old school fancy design. Lots of space, Richard takes care of everything and everyone very well!
- Alex (10/5): Romantic Victorian Getaway. - Richard is an amazing Inn Keeper. Richard is like an old friend. The whole stay was stress free, we only wish we stayed longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Spent a lot of time at Kalahari but enjoyed our stay there.
- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable - My husband and needed a relaxing weekend away and that’s exactly what we got! Richard, the inn keeper was super friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and the home was beautiful! Very historic. And breakfast was sooo yummy! My only complaint was that the windows didn’t have light blocking curtains. I woke with the sun every morning. But everything else was AMAZING!
