Guest Reviews
- Willa (4/5): - Aircon not that cold, there’s cockroaches, microwave didn’t work, i called the caretaker but they didn’t come to fix it. They don’t clean the room and change towels only if you stay for a week, they didn’t tell you about it until you are already booked, so better book a hotel, they clean the room everyday and change the towels.
- Carlito Donor (10/5): - The area in general was great, shopping and site seeing was mostly walking distance from our condo. Public transportation was easily accessible and available when we needed them. Our host was available, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was convenient and pleasant. I will definitely come back. Thank you.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Business trip - Nice unit in Amorsolo tower. I actually extended my stay. Staffs are responsive and kind.
- shiela carreon (6/5): - Check in was not easy. Had to call and request keys when that should have been all at front desk. The room was unlocked and keys were inside. Fridge didn’t work with the electric socket so had to move to other side to get it to work.
- Roma (8/5): Amorsolo Visit - Over all a good stay, some issues with cockroaches in room, more than the odd 1 or 2. General cleanliness was ok, some signs of cosmetic damage in room and Beacon Tower Amorsolo is begining to show some signs of age and wear and tare. Staff friendly
- Guy C. (4/5): - Ac wasn’t cool enough. And no cleaning or sheet change after a week.?
- Verified traveler (8/5): Business trip - Good stay.
- corey (8/5): - We liked the view. And the pool. However there were some hazards in the unit that we had to make safe for ourselves. Also the refrigerator did not work. Cable was out several times. However we were there for a month and made do. All in all it was an ok unit. But not worth the price.
- David (8/5): - A nice place for a lay over.
- Lance Alworth (6/5): - Was ok
- MITSURU (10/5): - Good
- Jhelyn Joy (10/5): - everything is excellent , the only thing it has a lot of little cockcroaches
- Josie (10/5): - Room was double book, other than that very good stay.
- Bonn (8/5): - Can’t really beat the price. It is a fairly clean place. There were a few small bugs but considering it’s Manila Philippines and the price is super affordable, it was worth it.
- Shaina (10/5): - Accommodating staff
- Joseph Paul (10/5): - nice place
- Jess (10/5): - Accessible, affordable and courteous
- Christopher (8/5): - It is easy to access tranportation
- Arlene Marie (2/5): - No show! Took payment for 3 nights but this person never picked up nor returned calls. No one at the property knew who she was. It took awhile and a lot of grief to get the refund from Expedia. Horrible!!!!!
- Robert (10/5): - Getting to the building was a little tricky depending on which you enter, the is no proper signage to direct people to the Amorsolo lobby.
The building is secured with security guard and a front desk guard.
The
- Sean (10/5): - Quick communication, easy check in and check out. Clean and neat unit, friendly staff and the best deal in Manila!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): business trip - great stay
- Idah Liza (10/5): - The room is updated, comfortable and very clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Most accommodating POC I've met - Since 2021, we've been their avid guest. Why? Because they ensure that we are comfortable in our stay at one of their units. I also love staying at The Beacon because of the pool access. Moreover, shops and restos are everywhere. If you are to stay for a couple of days and you're on a budget for food, there's Waltermart and Super 8 to cater your grocery needs. There's also Makati Square for other stuff that you might need. Internet connection is seamless so you can stream Netflix and Youtube all you want. Unlike other hotels or vacation homes we've been to, this is where I can sleep well and for me that's very important when on staycation.
- Tonya (2/5): - If there was a negative zero available, thats what i would rate ths stay starting with zero communication from the host after you check in. There was loud construction going on when this unit was rented out. I reached out to the owner who will always remain mute after you pay for rental. This is the game in Manila. After complaining and asking for a refund, a note miraculously appears at the door 2 days into the stay but dated for the 1st day of occupancy which is deceitful. We would never stay here again nor ever deal with the crooked owners of this property. When you book a property you expect peace and not a demolition stay. Terrible and dishonest experience. Zero communication after your money is paid. Zero honesty. A disgusting and stressful stay.
- Rui (8/5): - It would be nice if there are complimentary products such as soap, and shampoo. Overall, my partner had a relaxing stay :) thank you
- Steven (8/5): - Fanatic place a small issues only with the bugs around door. Really enjoyed staying here so did my wife.
- Pep John Paul (10/5): - The care taker is nice and accomodating.
- Scott (10/5): - Wonderful place, will stay again when back there soon
- Ericka Jane (10/5): - we enjoyed our stay, the play is very cozy and clean
- Inocencio (10/5): - Its a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Communication is not that bad nor good. Wallpapers are peeling.
- bradley (10/5): - GOOD SERVICE
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was good
- Daisy (10/5): - Everything was good but it takes days before someone replies here or on their fb page. but when you arrive there, the staff assigned to you replies fast and makes sure you are comfortable
- RENE (6/5): - The property is a bit tiny and needs updating. Wallpapers are falling apart. Lighting is poor and no closets to keep your clothes. There are no toiletries included.
- John (10/5): - Was perfect for us. We have extended 4 times
- John (10/5): - Exceded all expectations
- Leonardo (6/5): - Safe, and accessible to shops and restaurants
- Verified traveler (6/5): No reception for check in! - This property is actually a condo unit thats up for nightly rent here. So they dont have a proper reception. You will need to contact the number which is in their facebook page not the number on hotels.com app or website for your check. Be patient coz the security guards of The Beacon will not allow you to go in the building right away besides you dont know which floor and room you are going anyway until you can contact christine suites' staff. I swear it made me feel like i just got scammed here. I think they better provide clear address like "AMORSOLO TOWER" coz there are 3 towers at The Beacon and provide more contact points for check in.
- Jesus (4/5): - Roaches, power repairs, soap scum
- Reymark (10/5): - Checking in was the easiest and simple check in. Staff is very friendly. Place is clean. Definitely picking this place next time.
- Chad (10/5): - Clean comfortable new building with cold aircon. Amazing view from my room and the rooftop is spectacular.
- Mariel (8/5): Good Value - Only stayed for a few days and communication was good with the property caretaker Ruby. very friendly, responsive, and easy to reach. Asked for extra garbage can and rug as there is only one of each in the unit and provided with items quickly. Unit was very clean, and will recommend as it provides best bang for your buck. Centrally located to everything (market, hospital, church, laundry, restos, malls) like EVERYTHING. Only point of improvement was the slow drains in the bathroom (sink & shower) which the building maintenance is aware of and the congested elevators during peak times (7am till 9am AND 4pm till 6pm).
- Douglas (4/5): - Wasn't impressed at all
- Christopher (4/5): - The electricity went out on the second day. The owners hadn't bothered to pay for it. Lot's of small things were broken and or/needed repair. Pool & sauna were nice. Communication was very poor, almost impossible to get help with things. Lifts in the tower were constantly "out of service". Very unimpressed overall.
- Timothy M (10/5): Beacon was a great stay! - Good apartment with access to great pool and other common facilities. Attendant lives in the same building and was very helpful in many ways!
- Lennette (4/5): - Door knobs and locks are busted. A bit scary if you are checking in alone.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The contact person is so accomodating!!! But see some little cockroaches though.
- SHINICHI (10/5): Our staycation. - I and my wife had a really wonderful stay and HAPPY to enjoyed swimming after long time of the situation of COVID 19.
We hope come back again soon the next chance.
- Asma (10/5): Cosy in a very nice area - Everything went very well feom the first communication to the check out.
The owner very friendly and accomodating with flexible time of check in.
The building is a very nice area with an amazing view on Makati. Very calm as well and all the COVID-19 measure well respected.
In addition, the staff extremely helpful and friendly.
They made my stay feels like home.
I do recommend this place
- michael (6/5): OK but has room for improvement - 1. On arrival had to prove that we had neg. medical certicates for Covid-19. This was not stated as a requirement when we made the reservation.
2. There were onky 2 towels in the room with 3 people though it was known there would be 3 people.
3. The key to one of the rooms never did work.
Otherwise, the location was good.
Finally, i made the reservation in Philippine pesos & without my permission was converted to USD whichbi know was at a sognificantly lower rate that the going exchange rate. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO DO THAT! I SHOULD DETERMINE WHAT CURRENCY I WANT MY CREDIT CARD BANK TO BE BILLED IN!!!
- Lualhati Patria (10/5): - I do love my stay @ Beacon tower.
- RB (10/5): Highly Recommended - The Beacon Makati is great for people who wants great value for their money. The rooms are compact but it has all you need for long stays like refrigerator, electric stove, auto rice cooker, cooking utensils, etc. Jeanie, the hotel manager has been very accommodating and helpful. Overall, we just love the hotel!!
- Michelle (10/5): Clean and good location! - Staff assigned to welcome was very accomodating and helpful. The suite was clean and well organized. Close by and convenient to do grocery and church service.
- B (2/5): - No staff for a proper check-in. Completely disorganized.
- Patrick (10/5): Great location in Makati district - Nice apartment hotel, centrally located in Makati district, near lots of restaurants. A little trouble confirming our reservation and waiting for the room to become available, but ended up fine and a nice stay. Nice pool, good wifi, hot water and water pressure. Would stay here again.
- Larry (10/5): I Enjoyed My 3 Day Stay at Christine Suites - I have stayed at The Beacon several times. I like the location because it is a short walk via Arnaiz Avenue to Greenbelt/Glorietta Malls. The condo has no microwave oven. I enjoyed staying at the condo. It was quiet & comfortable. The staff was professional & courteous.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We love the location, its accessibility, closeness to airport , customer service .
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The price is good and convenient location
- Chio (4/5): Bad Place - The place has cockroaches and housekeeper never showed up to clean and replenish our room. The elevetors smells and there’s always a line to get in the elevator. I dont recommend it. Bad experience for me and my family. 👎👎👎
- Verified traveler (8/5): - it was small. and had no place to put your clothes
- ANGELO (6/5): - Studio-type accommodation. Just average but clean in general. If you have a personal car with you, not recommended to stay here since there is no guaranteed parking. I had to pay penalty fee of P500 for overnight parking in the basement. I recommend that management assures the client of guaranteed free parking as park of the package
- Patrick (8/5): Good & reasonable! - A good no-frills studio apartment for a good price. Nice, clean & comfortable with a great pool. The only problems were intermittent brownouts & intermittent loss of cable.
- Kerry (10/5): Excellent stay and service - We came in at 5AM and had booked the day before, they could not find our reservation on booking.com, but gave us a room anyway! The bed was broken so Jeanie moved us to another room that was perfect! The bed, room, wifi and everything was great. Jeanie was really nice and answered all our questions. The room was new clean with everything working well, unlike most hotels in Manilla. This is the best room and service we have had in Manilla in many years. Thank You Jeanie for making our stay so nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): My family enjoyed it every single day - Amazing place very comfortable and the one who look after the place very helpfull and nice person when needed iron and microwave in 30 mins they provided it. Happy to recommend and happy to go back. Everything you need shopping, Mall, restaurant, transportation etc. is near.
- adelina (8/5): Very good, - The place and staff are very good and accommodating, but I requested for a microwave, she did not promised that she can provide although it should be there and they should contact me earlier,
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like that everything about the property. It was clean and quiet. And customer service was excellent
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like everything about the property. It was clean the service was good. Customer service was very friendly.
- chul (2/5): What you pay for is what you get (Cheap) - This is the worst experienced I ever had with HOTELS.COM . I was expexting hotel room and found out it was renting a damn condo. Service is horrible, I am staying for 5 days and I am only getting a half used toilet paper, one sampler size soap, sampler size of tooth paste, no shampoo. If I need to have room clean, I have to pay extra. Also the key to the room, its copy keys and I have to riggle and spin and turn to open. First day, I was stuck outside the room..for good 15 minutes.. Trying to open the door.. This is worst hotel or Renting a condominium.. I ever experienced..
- Kenneth (8/5): Good Place To Stay - Good place to stay, lacked in cooking utensils.
- Dale (8/5): - Nice facility. Awesome pool. Service was not good. Difficult to reach and slow response. They did refund part of the fee because of the hassle so they went from a 5 to an 8. Thank you
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location but bed needs improvement - Value for money and perfect location for a short stay as this is within the CBD area if you just want to catch the early flight to airport. Need improvement - the quality of bed and linen are not good as we we're not sleep well. The towel is only for one pax given that I have indicated that 3 pax will stay. No basic toiletries provided.
- Irene (10/5): Perfect hub for nearby hospital stay - Spacious for solo travel with kitchenette and cooking tools. Not that my daughter cooks, but very convenient for those planning to spend time in Makati Medical as a patient support or if working there. Check-in support was easy. No garbage chute but periodical thrash pick-up outside your door. Dead bolt lock was assuring. WiFi works. Quiet when inside the room due to cement walls. New furniture and fixtures. The Waltermart mall across is very convenient for grocery needs, restaurants, and Starbucks caffeine fix. The 6F has sauna and pool though we have not tried it but looks huge and inviting. Reception counter very efficient, too. A block away from Little Tokyo. Will stay again as needed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good location - Perfect place to stay. Close to shops and near to CBD. Walking distance malls.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great! - Stay was really great. Only suggestions to change the structure of bed frame.
