• Karina (8/5): - Ein kleines, aber feines Hotel – genau mein Geschmack. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, es gab ausreichend Parkplätze direkt am Haus, und am Wochenende findet gleich vor der Tür ein Markt statt. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: Direkt vor unserem Fenster war die Frühstücksterrasse – deshalb wollten wir die Vorhänge lieber zu lassen. Trotzdem rundum angenehm und absolut empfehlenswert!

• Harald (8/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt in der Nähe vom Kurpark. Es ist sehr ruhig dort, da die Unterkunft am Ende einer Wohnstraße liegt. Parkplätze sind direkt am Haus.
• Florian (8/5): - Wir haben dieses Hotel für ein Wochenende in Bad Oeynhausen gebucht. Der CheckIn lieg hervorragend und wir wurden sogar bis zum Zimmer gebracht, dass sich im Nebengebäude befand. Die Umgebung war ruhig. Am Samstagmorgen fand direkt vor dem Hotel ein Wochenmarkt statt. Ein unerwartetes aber schönes Ereignis. Das Frühstücksbuffett war klein aber sehr fein. Frisches Brot sowie frische Brötchen und nicht diese Aufbackware gehörten dazu wie eben auch „echtes“ Ruhrei. Das Frühstück war definitiv ein Highlight. Das Zimmer war sauber und großzügig. Das Bad mit Dusche war ebenfalls sauber und großzügig mit einer großen ebenerdigen Dusche. Der CheckOut lief ebenson problemlos wie schon der CheckIn. Das Hotel ist vom Bahnhof angenehm zu Fuß zu erreichen (10Minuten). Die Bali-Therme ist ebenfalls nur 10 Geh-Minuten entfernen und der große Kurpark sogar nur 5 Minuten entfernt. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und hervorragendem Frühstück.

• Pilzi (10/5): Great place - Very central, close to the Kurpark and the Bali Therme. The room has a great shower and the breakfast has a great selection. Coffee was top. Also all the staff members were very friendly and professionell. Unfortunately the Restaurant was closed the day I stayed there so I could not try it, but the menu was mourh watering. The beds were also very comfortable.

• Ulrike (8/5): - Wenn man über den einen oder anderen Sanierungsstau (Treppe mit abgenutzten Bodenbelag) hinweg sieht, ist der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die Mitarbeiterinnen, die ich traf, waren alle sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und unkompliziert. Das für sich für mich spontan erforderlich machende spätere Auschecken (15Uhr) ermöglichten die sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterinnen ohne Diskussion. Das war sehr hilfreich. Ich werde das Hotel in jedem Fall weiterempfehlen. Mir ist wichtiger, dass die Mitarbeiter freundlich sind, die Dusche sauber ist und gut funktioniert, das Frühstück reichhaltig und lecker ist, als dass der Treppenbelag den letzten Chic hat.

• Malgorzata (6/5): - Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und das hat man schon beim Eintreten gerochen. Das Zimmer war groß und ziemlich sauber. Die Matratze war Ok. Aber die Kopfkissen reine Katastrophe , total verklumpt. Beim Frühstück wurde nie nachgelegt. Die Gurkenscheiben waren alt und total ausgetrocknet, der Obstsalat war auch schon ungenießbar. Der Kaffee war auch schon eher kalt (Reste in den Kaffeekanne). Und dafür 138 Euro pro Nacht, viel zu hoch!

Um spätestens 20 Uhr verabschiedet sich zudem das Personal und die Terrasse wird geräumt. Maximal sind noch Getränke aus dem Kühlschrank zu haben, die dann auf dem Zimmer zu verkonsumieren sind.

• MK4400 (2/5): No tradie / No go - March 23. Very poorly. Just a bed and bread for tradies. Room 25. the heater went off after day two. 4 tv programs all rubbish. At 6 am bacons in the air :-) because the kitchens exhaust is somewhere near so the lovely smell is all over the (place). The breakfast is good. Heaps of bacon tho.

• Lis (6/5): En skuffelse - Da vi kom fik vi at vide, at restauranten var lukket pga. et strørre privat selskab. Der er mange etniske restauranter i bymidten, så vi fandt en anden restaurant. Heldigvis var vejret fint, ellers havde det ikke været sjovt. Hotellet er gammelt - og det ses. Vores værelse var pænt stort, men meget spartansk, ret ucharmerende og meget lydt (toget kører tæt forbi - tit). Wi-fi virkede ikke på værelset. Det var umuligt at få forbindelse. Der var ingen andre steder at opholde sig. Næste morgen var restauranten stadig optaget, så vi måtte spise morgenmad i et lokale bag baren. Her var der heller ingen Wi-fi forbindelse. Selve morgenmaden var fin. De to servitricer var venlige, men det ændrer ikke på, at vi havde følelsen af kun lige at være tålt. Der var ikke meget service til os - kun til det private selskab.

• B (8/5): - Leider gibt es für den ersten Eindruck keine zweite Chance! Um zu dem einzigen Hotelzugang zu gelangen, muss man durch eine Art Wintergarten hindurch, der leider ausgerechnet als Raucherbereich genutzt wird. Wer sich das überlegt hat, hat bedauerlicherweise nicht weit gedacht oder ist wahrscheinlich selber Raucher. Das Zimmer machte einen geräumigen und sauberen Eindruck, obwohl ein, zwei Abstellmöglichkeiten mehr für Gepäck, etc. nicht schaden würden. Das Bett war einfach nur GUT! Selten habe ich in einem Hotelbett besser schlafen können. Leider waren alle Zimmer ohne Minibar ausgestattet und das Bad war wirklich kuschelig. Etwas größere oder Menschen mit nicht mehr ganz idealem BMI werden in der Dusche an ihre Grenzen stoßen. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis empfand ich für das Gebotene eher am oberen Ende der Skala. Dennoch ist das Hotel unter dem Strich für Bad Oyenhausen wohl als empfehlenswert einzustufen.

The hotel was comfortable and yet full of charm and character. Nice sheets and towels. Has a good bar and restaurant in the hotel. The staff were excellent.

• 933arisd (8/5): Asparagus fiesta - This is a nice place. Small with just enough tables to accommodate no more than 8 groups. The service was very pleasant and polite. They had an English menu for the German language illiterates too. Plenty of choices for meat and even some fish along with a separate menu sheet for the local delicacy of asparagus. A clear & obvious choice for me which payed off. Tons of side orders to accompany their precious veggies. At the table there was a plate with roasted beef and some pulled pork. Their hash-browns somehow below average. The prices just a tad under what you would easily pay for the level of comfort and quality present.
• WI_Parrot (8/5): Great Food and Service - Did not stay at the Hotel but had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. I was the guest of several individuals from the area. There was an English version and the waitress spoke English and was very willing to help with the translation. We all took their specials and all were quite pleased with the food. We finished the meal with a traditional Austrian desert. All in all very good food, great service and I will return any time I am in the area.
• RichardPhuket (10/5): Super - What a great stay! Felt right at home because of the warm welcome and very hospitable staff members. Beautiful decorated bar and restaurant, with many different areas. Food that is served is more then enough and very tasty. Rooms have heavenly beds and mine was equipped with a massive bathroom. Certainly worth the three stars and in my opinion far above! A well deserved 5 stars!

• V3045HQtimb (10/5): Stay a week and put on a stone! - Starting a new job is never good, trying to find how things work, remembering names, positions etc. Well, the company put me up here and I can't recommend it highly enough. Very freindly staff and owners, free Wi-Fi and a room with a balcony....what more do you need, oh yes, memory foam and fantastic food . Big tick in all boxes. I sit writing this review having just devoured half a veal calf coated in paprika sauce with a side of fried potatoes. Simple food done well as they say. The town is worth a walk round too, nice buildings to look at, street bars and a small mobile market selling a huge array of cheese and fresh meat. Come and see for yourself..
• danbV6281HI (8/5): Excellent value, large comfortable rooms. - This is a no frills hotel but at the prices they charge I would not expect anything else. Comfortable beds and good shower room, wifi was a bit hit and miss but apart from that I had no complaints. Good basic breakfast and the restaurant does a very good dinner and wine selection.
• 817nickib (2/5): Rude and obnoxious! - We have been staying in Bad Oeynhausen for four days and used trip advisor to find places to eat and Hotel Stickdorn was close to the top of the list and was also recommended by some of the locals. We made a booking for dinner in the restaurant but unfortunately got a little lost walking to the hotel and arrived about 30 minutes later than our booking (was a tuesday night so not the busiest night of the week?) We were swiftly escorted from the building by the maitre de who informed us in a minimum of words that our custom would not be required due to the tardiness of our arrival. He was rude and obnoxious and refused to engage and as the restaurant was barely half full we were surprised at the insulting manner he presented. The end of the evening was saved and we did consider Hotel Stickdorn had done us a favour as we ended up eating at Restaurant Paridiso across the road.. (see their review!)
• Sagthrew (8/5): Quaint but wonderful hotel - I have now stayed at the Stickdorn twice now on business trips and I can heartily recommend this hotel as a place to stay. The hotel itself is a mixture of old and new. The more traditional wood panelled restaurant, breakfast room and reception are ingrained into the architecture of the main building whilst the annex 'Shlafgut' (Sleep Well) is a more modern affair with frosted glass doors and all the modern conveniences you could wish for. The main hotel rooms are tastefully decked out with traditional pine furniture and are reasonably sized. The Shlafgut rooms are quite large in comparison. The food at the hotel is second to none! The evening menu choice, whilst not elaborate, provided a really good variety and the quality was simply superb. The food is cooked to a really high standard and is presented beautifully. I can thoroughly recommend this place purely for the food alone! The staff are all extremely attentive and friendly who are also well spoken in English (which helps immensely as I am not a fluent speaker of German!). Overall this hotel is one I would definitely come back to... I think if I could raise one ever-so slight criticism would be that there are no English speaking channels on TV - however it's not that big a deal but some people may wish to know this. Oh and don't expect a mini bar of any kind... all you get is a bottle of carbonated water and two glasses....but, again, is that a problem?
• 678barrym (8/5): Nice hotel, - Visited this place on a business trip, staff were really friendly, rooms clean. Only food I had was breakfast which was ok, Only issues I had with the hotel was the flooring in the hallways were laminate and anyone walking around late at night could be heard easily. Other issue was in the main car park their is a food marker on a Saturday which you can hear them set up the stalls from 6am - well I could as my room was facing the front of the hotel. Other than that no issues and value for money
• moonfly77 (10/5): Best restaurant in Bad Oeynhausen! - We've eaten here many times over the years and are pleased to be here yet again. This is the only restaurant for us since Scarlett closed some years ago and we have booked for every night during this week's stay. The food is consistently reliable and good value, augmented by friendly and attentive service.
• Marlene47_12 (8/5): Nice location - I recently traveled to Bad Oeynhausen without any hotel reservation and found myself referred to the Hotel Stickdorn and was disappointed to learn that they could only provide one night. Their proximity to downtown is wonderful for both foot and vehicle traffic as well as having ample parking on site and nearby. The hotel is very clean and the rooms nicely furnished with beautiful bathrooms. I stayed in the old part and was pleasantly surprised and more than satisfied as well as having a reduced rate compared to the newer rooms. Breakfast in the morning was included in the price, ample and fresh. This hotel also has a dining room on site with traditional German meals should you wish to stay put. I found the room a bit warm however, a bit noisy once I opened the window as my room was overlooking the front as well as the outdoor dining area. I would recommend staying at this location again.
• AngieB253 (10/5): Excellent Value, Efficient Service - Our stay here was based on a recommendation from someone who has been visiting the area on business for 15 years. Our first impression was not necessarily favorable but at the end of our 4 day stay we were COMPLETELY won over. The rooms are pretty basic, but they are clean and efficient. No elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up. However, what sets this place apart from other hotels (especially U.S. hotels) is the lovely breakfast, breakfast room, bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The cost of breakfast is included with the cost of the room and has yogurt, cereal, cold cuts selection, excellent cheese selection, scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh juice, coffee (espresso on request), and a beautiful array of bread and rolls. The bar area (where you may also dine) is cozy and well-stocked. The restaurant area is also cozy and the food if very, very good. The Argentinian beef rump is especially good. For a well-rounded European private hotel experience this is the place to stay. I would stay at this hotel again. And again.
• RoddyPayne (8/5): Great German family owned hotel - Was in the area for business and was recommended this hotel. Great rooms, well apportioned and sizable (in the new block) for a German hotel. We ate at the Restaurant ( don't normally like to do this as you get cut off from the town, but the town came to us!) which had a really local German food offer. Local people were also eating there as well as meeting for a drink. The breakfast was complete and tasty without being over the top. The service was good and to the point but never abrupt. And finally, a big issue for me, the Wi Fi was ample and free. A great small hotel for business or holiday.
• schtuka (6/5): Locals like it for restaurant - I think as a business traveler you find it as an average German, small city hotel. Prices are not too high and it is clean. It has a restaurant and bar which is popular with locals. They serve traditional German food which is just like home cooking. Breakfast is also standard with variety of cold cuts, breads, eggs and bacon/sausage. Rooms are nothing to write home about, but they are clean and bathrooms are clean not too small./ The only beef I have is their hallways laminated floors. Man, they produce loud noise. As a matter of fact I was getting more noise from late night guests finding their rooms than from outside. There is some parking at the back and metered parking in front. Staff is friendly and helpful.
• JBacana (8/5): Great location, nice room! - The room is very nicely decorated and pretty big! The location of the hotel is great, on a walking distance from the city center (and the kur park). Very good breakfast. Good value!
