• france (8/5): - Emplacement, et hotel de charme. Petits déjeuners pris dans un café proche de l'hôtel composés d'un jus de fruit synthétique, une boisson chaude et un croissant. Pas à la hauteur de la qualité des chambres. Attention, l'accès aux chambres nécessite de prendre un ascenseur très petit mais d'époque !
• Francisco (10/5): Great stay! - Great location and really comfortable room. Less than 5 minutes away from the historic center of Napoli. The room was perfect and the staff super nice and helpful. Breakfast in the cafe in front of the street was also really nice. I would repeat if I'm back in Napoli

• Margaret (9/5): Clean, comfortable, well located, helpful staff - The location, the host and staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodations. Francesco and staff were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and making reservations, getting taxis, orienting us to the city and suggesting areas and sights to explore. The owner of the building has recently required payment of .50 euros to use the elevator. La Smorfia has no control over this. This requirement means that for people who have difficulty climbing to the third floor, it’s necessary to have a good supply of 50 cent pieces.

Nous disposions d’une grande chambre , sobrement décorée, avec une grande salle de bains qui disposait d’une grande cabine de douche. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Naples Les parties communes de l’hôtel sont bruyantes . Lorsque nous avons réservé il n’y avait pas de formule sans petit déjeuner , ce que nous avons regretté . Le petit déjeuner, servi dans un café de l’autre côté de la rue , est médiocre , servi dans un endroit ni agréable ni confortable. Alors que le quartier regorge de cafés et pâtisseries meilleurs et plus agréable.

• Peter (7/5): - Located in the centre close to attractions and museums. The owners of the bnb were very helpful and helped organise a trip to pompeii which we enjoyed. The breakfast is located across the street, you get a sweet pastry a coffee / small juice and water. It was a nice breakfast. Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable, had to ask for fresh towels (only changed every few days according to other reviews) and extra pillows (you get one pp upon arrival)

• Ellen (6/5): - Unfortunately one of the three rooms (three of us each with our own room) did not have working AC and it was hot so that was not great. Also, the elevator broke so we had to drag our bags down three flights of stairs. The elevator was very sketchy and you had to use coins to use it. The staff seemed nice but did not help to take bags down, was not able to fix the AC and we requested a taxi pick up and they were not able to do this successfully. It was quiet, clean and bed comfortable. I am mixed on whether I would refer anyone though.

• Susan (10/5): - The property is in a great location right at the edge of the historical centre. It's walking distance to a lot of the main sites and lots of bars/restaurants. The room was clean and quite large, generally very quiet too as the property is accessed by going through a courtyard as opposed to directly facing the street. There's a small breakfast included which is in a bar across the street.
• Ramune (10/5): Beautiful B&B in a perfect location - Antonella was very helpful and friendly even before I arrived, and she continued to be amazing throughout my stay. She also helped me arrange a taxi to the airport, which made things so much easier. The location of the B&B is perfect, close to great restaurants and many tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable, clean, and I really liked the design of both the room and the whole building. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit. Thank you! N/A

• Clea (8/5): Bien placé et confortable - Nous y avons séjourné 4 nuits, hôtel très correct avec un bon emplacement afin de tout faire à pied dans un quartier calme. « Le petit déjeuné compris » est dans un bar au coin de la rue, il est peu complet malheureusement. (1 croissant 1 café et 1 jus d’orange…) c’est assez léger pour le prix du séjour. Accueil et personnel très accueillant. Literie confortable, la clim est très apprécié ! Mini bar à disposition mais il faut payer les consommations qui sont à l’intérieur.

Right in the Historic Center of Naples, just a few steps away from the archeological Museum. Close to 2 metro stations so it was well connected. Our room was pretty big. We had to pay extra for the (very) late check in. But Antonio was super nice and the lady at the reception very helpful.

• Julia (10/5): Good localization, good quality, good times - The owner is great, very helpful and gracious. The rooms were very clean, AC in every one, nice and soft towels, shampoo and shower gel included (nice scents!), good WiFi. Localization is awesome, very close to good restaurants and some museums. Beware that the lift is very old and very small (two people max, no way to fit a wheelchair or stroller). Pretty quiet at night, especially for city centre. The only slight problem (if you can call it that) is that the description said "breakfast included" and perhaphs it should be specified that it was an "italian breakfast", so you could eat one sweet pastry and take one coffee/tea and orange juice/water. Anything else was paid extra.

Have to pay to use the very tiny elevator (rooms are on the 4th floor) and I don't remember that being mentioned in the description before booking. Old building (which is expected) had a hard time with preventing noise. Limited breakfast "provided" at a nearby cafe. Like most hotel rooms in older Italian buildings I've stayed in, there wasn't an interior lock to prevent others entering. There wasn't a Do Not Disturb sign that could be used. Housekeeping tried to enter while I was there without knocking first. I didn't feel safe that someone couldn't just come in.

• Raymond (8/5): Nice Stay - This was a very good choice. It is a very short walk to the Archeology museum as well as the metro. A short metro ride to the train station for easy access to Herculaneum and Caserta Palace. There are many cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the area. The room was clean and bright. The staff were super helpful and we were able to store our luggage on the last day before we departed for our late train to Rome. The bed and pillows were very firm and our room faced the busy, noisy street which caused us some grief when we were trying to sleep.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Super moderne und hübsche Unterkunft - Die ersten drei Tage hat mir alles an der Unterbringung super gefallen. Vor allem die Stille war enorm. Das lag wohl an den fehlenden anderen Gästen. Als die dann kamen, musste ich feststellen, dass das Kopfende meines Bettes an das Badezimmer des Nachbarzimmers grenzt und beinahe jeder Laut durchkommt. Außerdem fiel mir die ersten Tage bereits ein merkwürdiger Geruch auf. Aber erst als die Putzfrau am vierten Tag die Badezimmertür geschlossen hatte und ich sie Stunden später öffnete wurde mir die Intensität des moderiegen Geruchs wirklich bewusst. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass dieser durch das alte Gebäude ausgelöst wird und die Betreiber des B&B nichts daran ändern können. Aber jemand mit einer feinen Nase bekommt da vermutlich Probleme. Davon abgesehen war alles andere aber Spitze!

The location was perfect - very central! The Palazzo is an amazing place and the room was really comfortable. If I ever go to Napoli again, I would like to stay there again.

• Ludivine (8/5): Très bien situé - Chambre type bnb, très bon emplacement dans le centre historique mais au calme sur l'arrière cour de l'immeuble. L'ascenseur est payant 50 ct normalement. Accès par le metro Museo a 3 min à pied Chambre spacieuse et propre. Accueil de Antonella tres sympatique, qui parle tres bien français et est tres disponible, joignable et arrangeante. Seul bemol le petit déjeuner, qui doit etre pris dans le café du quartier à l'extérieur. Le choix est limite car 1 croissant 1 café et un mini verre de jus de fruit industriel. C'est dommage.

• Nicole (10/5): - This is a lovely, well-managed B&B. The staff was welcoming and informative. The rooms were clean and had all amenities you might need including a fridge and coffee setup. It’s close to a great restaurant Re Lazzarone and includes breakfast at Karmacore which was also great. It’s on the third floor of a very old building that has a lift.
• Leann (10/5): - Antonella was so helpful. They are providing euros for the (extremely small) elevator to take you and your luggage to the 3rd floor. There are also stairs for the more fit. Our room was huge and well appointed. It was very clean. You can open the windows to enjoy the noisy Napoli environment or close them and there’s hardly any noise from the street. Everything worked well in the room. Would definitely go back!

Frühstück im gegenüberliegenden Café sehr lecker und sympathisch. Man ist in wenigen Minuten im Centro Storico. Restaurants und Bars alles vor Ort. Wir wurden sehr freundlich in der Unterkunft empfangen.

She greeted us at the street and explained the map of the city. It was a popular area in the evening for bars and restaurants. The elevator cost 50 cents to use so bring change. Otherwise it will be a hassle for you. The bed was very firm. Not comfortable for me, but if you like a very firm mattress, they have it. Overall it was a good stay. I would recommend it for the neighborhood, proximity to archeological museum and lively night life. But with the caveat about the elevator and mattress.

• Chan Chang (10/5): - Convenient location with easy access to public transport and various attractions. Francesco was very helpful and friendly. He arranged time to meet us on arrival and provided us with useful local information. The property was clean and tidy. Balcony windows shut most of the noise from busy street. Overall, a pleasant experience.
• Marisa (8/5): - Great staff. Explained everything thoroughly. I did not appreciate paying 0,50 euro per elevator ride. Shower was quite small.

• Karina (10/5): Great B&B in the heart of Naples - I was very lucky, the place is spotless, well decorated, very fresh. Antonella and Francesco were very attentive and helpful. The location is perfect in the heart of town but in a quiet area, you can walk to nice restaurants and bars. The metro is also super close by.
• Catherine (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at the BnB. Antonella was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were a bit shocked of the neighbourhood after coming from the centre of Rome and were surprised by the garbage in the streets. We soon got use to our surroundings and saw the beauty of the neighbourhood. The restaurants were fabulous and the little cafe where we got our morning breakfasts was lovely, and I highly recommend the brioche. We loved the convenience of the metro as we took day trips from Naples. We really felt immersed in the culture. As non-smokers, it was difficult to get used to the amount of secondhand smoke. Those who have asthma should be aware, and choose to eat indoors to avoid it. Thank you for a true cultural experience. ❤️🇮🇹
• Ott (8/5): Our one night stay was great, very modern room with great amenities and a very gracious host. - The room was very spacious with a renovated bathroom and air conditioning. Overall the BnB was clean and very modern and we felt safe at all times. Our host was very gracious and sat us down to give us restaurant information and city transport advice. Something that could've been better was a more comfortable bed. The mattress was pretty stiff and it seems like more could be invested into a better mattress. Additionally more bedding options and comfier sheets would be a plus.
