• Janet (10/5): - The cabins that we stayed in were across the road from the pub which served excellent food. Had a delicious seafood chowder. The staff were very friendly and helpful with providing access to charging facilities for our bikes.

• Gaz (8/5): Great campsite, great facilities - Location, cabins are small, clean warm & comfortable. Great staff made check in & out easy. Showers was only just warm enough, the water was too cold for showers in winter really. Plus there is no light sensor in the shower cubicle so when the lights turn off automatically you have to get out the shower & cubicle to activate the sensor to turn back on. A pint in the beached whale restaurant was no where near a pint. More like half a pint but still cost $15/16. Our cabin car parking space had a table in it so couldn't park there!

• Jo (10/5): Gas leak, police, fire brigade, it was an adventure! Great work keeping everyone informed and safe. - Staff! Amazing! I messed up my booking and they accommodated me. There was a gas leak and the staff made sure everyone was safe on the beach I couldn’t find a hand dryer or paper towels in bathroom, but I had a towel so this is minor feedback

• lee (10/5): This was one of the most pleasant locations I have stayed in. - The location couldn't have been better. Paradise on the doorstep. All amenities clean and well maintained. It was quiet for a busy place. The prices in the shop were astromical.

• Stephanie (10/5): - Especially the premium family cabins are amazing - with everything you need right around the corner: the beach, the Abel Tasman, a Supermarkt and a wonderful restaurant for your breakfast (The Waterfront)!

• Florence (10/5): Fabulous Beachfront Stay - Loved the design of accommodation, location, cleanest & helpful staff. Have to say this was one of the best stays on our South Island tour. No oven in kitchen but we got round it with the air fries & BBQ.

Bed was a little soft and would have preferred a queen size. More toiletries would help such as soap and body wash. A hair dryer would be appreciated also.

• Kathy (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - Our ensuite cabin was ideally located, close to the beach and all facilities. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay for 2 adults The cabin was quite warm and could have had better ventilation. Keeping the blinds and curtains closed during the day helped. It was essential to have windows open at night for air flow.
• Esme (7/5): - Very clean pretty area not much to fault Don’t say you have a shared kitchen if it is just made up of hobs and an area. Supplying zero utensils pls make that clearer. Also make it obvious in the listing that you have to pay a kitchen fee for utensils and to pay for wifi.

It so could have been in the booking details somewhere but honestly it’s not something I would have even considered that I needed to check. Lucky we had someone staying that we knew that did have mugs and plates and frying pans etc

• Ethel5Balam (8/5): Cant complain as setting was fabulous. - The setting is special - beach, sea, sunset, access to cruises into Abel Tasman, nice restaurants, shared bathroom with good showers. We booked a cabin with bunk beds - was very small and no plug sockets so charging the phone was in the shared kitchen or we found socket at back of Beached Whale restaurant. We had no cups or cutlery and the equipped 'shared kitchen' had hobs, toasters, microwave but no saucepans etc - lesson learned for us. The site was very busy with camper vans as well as cabins. All in all cannot complain as slept well in our bunks (67 year old hubbie) on top bunk and loved the location.

• Rachel (8/5): Great short visit. - Good little cabin for a one night stay before hiking in Abel Tasman. Friendly vibe, clean bathrooms etc. Very well situated on the beach, with easy access to water taxis for my hike. Like lots of campsites, the pitches were quite squished in - there was a tent pitched right next to the one window in the cabin, which felt a bit too close. However, for one night it was fine.

Also some nice cafes and really handy for the Abel Tasman national park day tours :) Didn’t realise there was no free Wifi even in the office area so had to use a lot of expensive data! Also no kitchen equipment supplied or even a mug, you have to hire for $5 a day :/ Beds also weren’t made up, maybe I shouldn’t have expected it though!
• Ruud (7/5): The location, near the beach and the sunrise in the morning are beauty full . No pictures go see for your self! - It’s a cabin on a holiday park so it is like camping. So if you like the camping life it is ok. There is no water boiler in the cabin. You have to get it from the general kitchen.
• Véronique (9/5): Cabanon mignon dans un camping très chargé sans wifi - Le petit cabanon sympa conforme aux photos avec une table .. Le bateau a proximité, le commerce en face, restaurant et café tout près. Espaces communs efficaces surtout cuisine très propre avec des équipements bien pensés. La douche minutee à 6mn, donc pour des cheveux longs et sans compagnie, obligée de sortir savonnee pour appuyer sur la minuterie. Nul ! L'accueil pas très chaleureux....Pas de WiFi dans tout le village, une évidence à L'accueil, persuadé que la NZELANDE n'est pas souvent équipé, que je n'ai pas bcp parcouru le pays. N'importe quoi! Juste ici, ce souvi, même à Marahau, ils sont équipés ! Tout de même une grande proximité avec les caravanes sous votre nez....

• Wolfgang (8/5): Very small but central hut on a camp ground - The location is very central opposide the beach, right behind the camping park office. Clean sanitary rooms and kitchen. Very small room with bunk beds. The window must be opened to enjoy the next day.

• Issy (9/5): Conveniently located cabin with friendly staff - The cabin was really cute and the bathroom areas, laundry and kitchen were great. It’s under a 5 minute walk from the campsite to the beach and the reception staff were really friendly. There were two restaurants and a shop right next door. The cabin had plenty of hooks to hang things up on which was appreciated. A very minor point but the cabin was very cold so layer up. You can rent a kitchen set for $5 nzd a day but mine contained mold in the box which wasn’t very nice.

• Mow Yah (8/5): Overall, we liked our stay here. The beach is beautiful. - The beach is just across the road. The cabin is comfortable. We liked our stay here. We traveled around New Zealand and stayed at many places, and this was the first accommodation that did not provide shampoo and body wash which was very inconvenient. When we checked with the staff, she said we can get it at the shop nearby. So if you are gong to stay in the cabin, please be prepared and bring your own shampoo and body wash.

• Elena (7/5): Campingplatz mit guter Lage - Top saubere Küche! Man muss zwar für Besteck und Kochutensilien 5$ zahlen, aber dafür ist man ordentlich ausgestattet und es ist alles sauber! Top Lage direkt am Strand und Abfahrt zu diversen Buchten sowie kostenfreier Parkplatz. Leider kein Wlan, sehr kleines Zimmer mit Etagenbett statt Doppelbett

• Setephano (Steph) (10/5): #LoveKaiteriteri - Location- beachfront access 🏊. CLEANLINESS 💯 I have never stayed in a cabin that clean- sparkly, not a spec of dirt or dust anywhere! Comfy bed, warm room upon our very late/ early morning check-in of 1am. Easy communication and accommodating staff for our late arrival. Has all the basic necessities. A one-stop destination with everything for a summer vacation literally at your doorstep. Loved our stay wish it had been longer- will definitely be back! Merry Xmas 🎄

(None in this sort of cabin nor in the communal spaces) Across from a pub with very very loud music. No cutlery, pans, plates etc in the kitchen. (You could hire those)
