Yes it might feel a bit small but it feels more “homey” Views on the top floor rooms: Stunning! The only downside I could put here just to put something is that the outdoor pool is tiny compared to the photos, but the area surrounding it has plenty of room for a relaxed evening.

NO information about the hotel facilities nor positive aspects of the hotel - large room with big windows that allow road and nearby railway noise to be heard throughout the night - low lying sewage smell in bathroom - car park barrier would bot open with room key, me at driving around several blocks to get back to valet -pillow covers were too small for pillows. No pillow protectors meaning we slept on stained/ uncovered pillows - no answer from anybody at 11pm when we were requesting larger pillow covers or something to cover the pillows with - we checked out 1 day early ( having already paid for 2) as we were so grossed out by the pillows. - asked for a refund of the 1 unused parking. Requests were often shut down immediately instead of being discussed or explained. There was no sense of flexibility or problem solving. The hotel is fine for location, but the service culture does not match the rates. I would not choose this hotel again for business travel.

Most requests were met with an immediate “no”, without explanation or effort to help. It felt more like a rule enforcement mindset than a hospitality one. Interactions with the front desk were not friendly or proactive, and when questions or concerns came up, there was little interest in finding solutions. The stay felt uncomfortable and not very welcoming. The hotel itself is fine in terms of location, but the level of service does not match. If customer service matters to you, this is something to seriously consider before booking.
jorgevI6217IT (2/5): Secutiry Deposit Issue & Poor Service - I stayed at Hotel Baruk regularly and won’t be returning. The main issue is customer service. The staff’s default response is “no”. Conversations start with “no” and go from there, with little effort to help, explain, or find solutions. This was consistent across multiple stays and made the hotel feel unwelcoming. The situation that sealed the deal was the security deposit. I was clearly told it would be returned in USD. When I followed up one day after checkout, staff blamed me for asking and then returned the deposit in MXN instead of USD. I stayed here about twice a month for three nights at a time, so this wasn’t a one off visit. Losing a regular guest over basic service and deposit handling is probably meaningless to them. The hotel has a good location, but the service culture and how issues are handled do not match the price or how the hotel markets itself. Travelers should be aware before booking.

La comida del restaurante es rica. Las vistas en la habitación master son muy buenas ya que te permite ver hacia varios lados de la ciudad. Las conexiones eléctricas de la habitación tienen limitaciones, el frigobar no enfría y fue imposible cargar un iPad probando en todos los contactos, al parecer todo está relacionado con la instalación eléctrica de la habitación.

Maria del Sol (8/5): Bueno - El desayuno muy rico y la ubicación cercana a la central de autobuses Lo que no me gustó es que pidan en el check in 2, 000 pesos ya que no se realiza la devolución en el momento de la salida si el pago es con tarjeta y tardan en recuperarlo y no aclaran eso desde un inicio. Así que contempla llevar extra ese dinero si se realiza en efectivo. De ahí en más es el servicio e instalaciones son buenas.
Miriam N (10/5): Muy cómodo - La ubicación nos pareció excelente, había varios restaurantes cercas y no estaba tan lejos de centros comerciales. La verdad no hubo nada que no nos gustara. Todo estuvo súper bien.
