Guest Reviews
- Hon Wai Anthony (4/5): Chaotic, Confusion at check-in - When i checked in the counter person told me i need to tell them which suite/room number i have booked. There's no suite/room no. was assigned when i received the confirmation. I have to call hotels.com customer service at the counter and the customer service told me to wait for the host to contact me. It's a family trip with 2 small kids. We have waited around 20 minutes until the person with a key show up.... It's purely not organized. I should stay in a proper hotel next time.
- John (10/5): - Fantastic location, cleanliness and service!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location. Great amenities! Super friendly property manager. Great time!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The apartment was generally ok and good standatd but on arrival bathroom floor was sticky needed a mop rusty bin, broken handle on kitchen cupboard, small things make a difference. broken setee, it was 4 days before agency took action. we requested a move as we couldn't all sit comfortably as using the setee would make it worse. we were moved to a better apartment which was cleaner and of more acceptable standard. but no main light working in one bedroom, and dirty patio door, despite these issues managed to have a great holiday. agency staff not very welcoming nor informative they need to attend a customer care course!
- Samuel (2/5): - Horrible experience ever, they don't have a recepcionist for help, so we have to wait for some body for assist us like for 1 hour, we almost miss the concert because we got our bethroom so late, they just post a piece of paper in the entrance of the eleveator saying about a cut of power ( of course some people don't put attention to this note) so they turn in some candles that active the fire alarms 3 TIMES!!! In one night, they should post a paper in every room talking about this and saying the people PLEASE DON'T TURN ON ANY CANDLE!!!...we saw two security gards at the entrance and they never even say HELLO, they should be the responsables of let now every tenant that go out or in...PLEASE DON'T TURN ON ANY CANDLE...but NO...they don't even talk. I leave the bethroom saturday at 11:00 am, is sunday now, 11:00 am and I have not get my deposit back yet. If a touristic place for stay, you guys have to make sure that cover better the needs of the people, you need a receptionist because as a travelers we don't have control anout our checking times, some people don't speak english, so you have to make sure everyone get all the important messages all the time...I really would like my money back because I wen to relax and enjoy and the friday nigth I only sleep like 4 hours, after the 3 fire alarm stop we were allow to enter back at 4 am and I have to leave the room at 11:00...TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, IF YOU CAN AVOID THIS PLACE, JUST DO IT
- Jerry (8/5): Nice and convenient - It was a nice place and convenient to downtown Toronto.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Air conditioning was not working properly. Also, at 500 dollar hold on your credit card when you check in , seems a bit much.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The property was great. The only problem is there is construction in the area but it didn't bother us. We had a few minor issues but nothing that was earth shattering. Overall, it was worth it. We especially liked that there was a grocery store in the lower floor of the building. That was quite unexpected. We also liked that it was walking distance to the lake, CN Tower, Aquarium and other major attractions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was very nice, and clean! It was like a small apartment so it had everything you needed and was right in the center of the city close to everything you could want to do or a short Uber ride away!
- Dan (10/5): - It is a very convenient location. Close to the airport as well. The building is well maintained and the elevators are fairly quick.
- Michele (8/5): - Location is perfect for NHL and NBA games, right across the street, in the heart of the entertainment district. Easy walk to CN Tower, Rogers stadium, aquariums. Also across the street from entrance to Union station if you need to get somewhere. Grocery store and liquor store in lower level of building, accessible without going outside once you know how. Building is beautiful. Our suite had a number of burnt out light bulbs and bathroom was too dark to put makeup on. We reported in morning after our first night but didn’t get changed before we left two days later.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It looked liked advertised. Very quiet, kitchen was great, well appointed.
Location was fantastic.
The blinds in the bedroom did not shut all the way though and we had trouble with the door lock.
- Clechea (10/5): - Property was in a central location. Close promoxity to all the major attractions downtown. Literally outside of the arena. Great value for location!
- Mayra (6/5): Read review before booking. - I never take the time to write a review but I wish I would have read the previous reviews to this place before booking.
Pros:
1)nice condo. Looks elegant and comfortable.
2)The people helping were very friendly
3)the location is center and close to almost everything
4) has all the amenities, we em a grocery store in building.
CONS:
1) check in was a disaster took 2hours to check in. Being tried from traveling and with fussy kids we couldn’t find the building and the person on the phone although she was nice totally sucked with giving direction.
2) the building is VERY confusing. We were at a certain lobby and the person that had to check us in couldn’t find what lobby we were in.
3) please note this is not a hotel, u can’t just check in at front desk. Someone has to go to meet you to check in.
4) also there is NO parking. We parked at the parking connected to condo and it was 30-45 a night. And when we were hungry and wanted to go out for a fast food run i had to pay $30 to take my car out. And I couldn’t walk anywhere since it was super cold and snowing.
So please take all this into consideration
The place is really nice with friendly ppl in line but too many down falls for my liking.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This property was very good. One thing that I am not satisfied about is the arrangement. My flight was delayed. And I had told them that I will be at the lobby of the property at 6:30pm. However, their staff was not there, I had sent them several mails and hadn’t got any feedback until 7:08. Their staff arrived at 7:30pm and I was waiting at the lobby for an hour.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Easy to get to, parking in same building, there was a grocery store in the bottom floor and easy to access, connects with The Path in Toronto. Suite was lovely, clean and quiet.
- Teri (4/5): Never Again - Checking in was a real problem for us, as we all came from out of town. We were told we had to pay $40.00 for an early check-in, or we could store our luggage and come back for our 4:00 check in.
There was no one available to let us in to the building, a resident let us in and told us to go the 9th floor.
No one there could help us, they would not let us leave our luggage there, we had our 82 year old aunt with us, that we wanted to take to lunch and wait for our 4 pm check in. Finally someone showed up and let us go up to our suite to put out luggage. After a 20 minute wait at the elevator to go from 9 to 11 we were able to drop off our luggage. Because of the wait for the elevator we walked downstairs to catch the elevator to get to the street. For a 80 plus, person, this was not a very good experience. When we had to send out aunt home, because she could not cope with going back to the to the room, we had to figure out the light system, we had no wifi, or TV. Calls and emails to try and resolve this problem were never responded to. It was an experience that we will probably not try again.
- Justin (2/5): - Read the fine print here. I paid nearly $400/night. Check-in was inconvenient. Their cancellation policy is draconian. And their customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced.
I booked this thinking it would be run more like a hotel. My mistake but I wasn’t the first. They sent an email with bold, highlighted text clarifying this well after their 24-hour cancellation period, so too late to do anything about it. They initially ignored my cancellation request, then refused it in a glib one-line reply telling me to take it up with Expedia. I did but they still refused. So I get ripped off and inconvenienced, and they get an unhappy guest. But even beyond this staying here was a total headache.
I was ignored on more than one occasion. One reply was just a single period a week later. They confused me with another guest. They asked me about payment information for the deposit via email. The deposit was listed as $1000 on Expedia but $500 in an email. They charged me an $85 cleaning fee for a one-night stay. I was left standing in an empty lobby waiting for 50-minutes when I arrived early. I was supposed to get a call back that never came.
It’s a typical small condo, but is furnished with cheap, uncomfortable furniture. Not even close to an acceptable standard at the rate they charged. Great location and the employee who met me was perfectly pleasant, but otherwise a nightmare experience.
Whether you’re on vacation or a work trip, this place is a headache you don’t want.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - nice clean, close to a lot of venues, is comfortable enough to even stay in for the nigh,t parking is close buy can't say anything bad about this place enjoyed my stay , thank you.
- Hannah (10/5): - A beautiful suite overlooking Toronto. Tidy on arrival with a friendly owner (and helpful!) and located within walking distance of many touristy spots. Wish we stayed more than one night.
