• Michael (10/5): - Es war eine sehr schöne gemütliche Übernachtung, das Zimmer war sauber und sehr komfortabel. eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Kaffee und Tee waren begrenzt eingegriffen! Man konnte sich in den Wintergarten setzen und mit Kaffee das herrliche Aussicht und die Ruhe genießen. Der Betreiber Willem hat uns herzlich empfangen und ein herrliches Frühstück vorbereitet . Diese B&B können wir nur weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
• Suzanne (10/5): - Warm welkom langs de route van het Groot Frieslandpad. We hebben heerlijk gezeten in de Orangerie, ondanks het minder mooie weer een gevoel van buiten terwijl we binnen zaten. Mooie plek om even bij te komen. -

• Nancy (7/5): Matige kamer van behulpzame eigenaar in prachtige tuin. - De gastheer was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ook toen ik mijn sleutel was verloren. Verder is het een kwestie van smaak. Buiten is de tuin echt prachtig en zomers moet het een feestje zijn om daar te vertoeven. De bedden waren goed, evenals de kussens. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. De accommodatie was niet zo mooi als op de foto’s en behoeft het en der wat onderhoud. Tijdens het ontbijt was wat meer privacy wel prettig geweest. De eigenaar bleef in de open keuken aanwezig. Ik kan mij voorstellen dat dit voor andere mensen geen probleem is maar voor ons is het niet echt voor herhaling vatbaar.

Ich kann nur sagen, dass es wirklich an nichts fehlte, und dass der Aufenthalt in jeder Hinsicht außergewöhnlich angenehm war: der herzliche Empfang des Gastgebers, die geschmackvolle Ästhetik, die weitläufige Räume, der fast märchenhafte Lage am Wasser, das ganze gekrönt von einem üppigem Frühstück UND....: als Abschiedsgeschenk ein Buch, dessen Autor der Hausherr selbst war. Ich konnte erfüllt und mit einem Lächeln meine Fahrradtour fortsetzen! Da gibt es absolut nichts zu verbessern.

Located in the modern part of the village, the apartments/studios are clean, comfortable and with all facilities present. Good and comfortable beds, easy and free parking on the property, free wifi, and access to a very beautiful garden bordering on water. The place is extremely quiet (which is rare in the Netherlands). Owner is a great host, contacting you directly after making reservation and going at length making sure that your stay is comfortable. Although I was informed, cash payment was necessary upon arrival.

Het was buiten koud... maar het huisje was aangenaam bij binnenkomst! Heerlijk! Op een krijtbord stonden onze namen met een welkom! Erg leuk!

Both room are nice, but challet offers more privacy The room is generously warm, but it was a bit too warm for our likeness.

• Roy (10/5): One of the best B&B accommodations we have stayed in. - It was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts were friendly and very helpful, especially in recommending places to eat. It seems that no expense has been spared on this property, everything being to a very high class. The surrounding areas are also very pleasing with great walks available. We had travelled by coach so didn’t have our own transport, but our host very kindly drove us to a local restaurant. Nothing to dislike.
