Easy walking distance to Main Street and easy driving distance to Acadia. And Bob was a terrific host! Although we knew the size of the room, it did get to feel a bit small after the first night. Also, we are light sleepers, and could here the couple in the next room sleeping very soundly....

Owner hovered over guests at breakfast and it was difficult to plan our day.

The owner was friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond providing a level of hospitality that exceeded our expectations. It’s clear he genuinely cares about his guests. Highly recommend!

The breakfast was great and served elegantly, but it was rather rich and we think that a simpler option, perhaps a bagel, toast, or English muffin, might suit some guests. But the coffee was great!

Nice happy hour While great care was taken in preparation of the breakfast and it looked wonderful, it was too American sweet for Aussie tastes.
- Holly (10/5): Anne’s White Column Inn - This Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Crème Brûlée French toast was amazing! We will definitely stay here again next visit.

- Jeri (10/5): - This is the perfect place for couples or singles to stay while visiting Bar Harbor. The historic house has been lovingly taken care of and beautifully decorated. The host was friendly and helpful with general information about the area. We had a secluded haven in the mist of a lively and beautiful seaport town. We would love to go back some day.
- Christine (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing. It's a short walk into downtown bar harbor, and a short drive to the entrance of acadia. The breakfasts were amazing, and they were very accommodating of my special dietary needs.

- Sarah (8/5): Great location but no good with luggage - Bob was a very friendly and helpful host. It was an easy walk into town to shops and restaurants and it was a convenient base for our exploration of Arcadia. The room was up two flights of stairs which would be fine if you are just travelling with a weekend bag but not ideal for those away for a long trip with more luggage. Room was too small with luggage. Bed was uncomfortable and creaked loudly every time we turned over. No power points next to bed for phones and no plug for the bath.
- Laurier (10/5): A great time in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. - Great location in town. Beautiful facility and comfortable rooms & beds. Excellent breakfast and extremely friendly staff. Cost
- Ed (10/5): - Excellent property! Bob is a very gracious, the breakfasts are incredible, and the location is an easy walk to dining, shopping, Island transportation, and the Bar Harbor waterfront.

- Ed (8/5): First Visit - Very pleasant inn. Is in need of some repair. Our room did not have AC and the ceiling fan was noisy. Staff was excellent and you could walk to town.
