I could hear people next room. - the pool opens only at 8 am. As someone who wakes up with sunrise I wish there was more flexibility - entering the sea from here is very rough. - I also had stains all over my bedding upon checking in and had to ask to have my bedding changed.

But it was really a great place to stay Mike the owner is very nice I talked to him for a while and everything that was great. We stayed in room 213 which is the best room there It has a balcony that overlooks the ocean the pool restaurant and beautiful sunrise and sunset

- geraldine (8/5): - It’s the biggest resort property I have been in siargao. Lots of open spaces to lounge in with a spectacular view of the ocean. All instagrammable. The location of the pool is perfect! It’s like being in the ocean waters. There is even a parking space available within the premises. We stayed both in the ocean view and garden view rooms. If you’re big on waking up with the view of the sea, ocean view is for you. But the garden view rooms are not bad at all since the sprawling garden is beautiful as well. Personally, I like the garden view room better as they are more spacious and more updated. Service is great too! The staff are courteous and attend to your needs well. They also have a restaurant which serves delicious and affordable food. Not to mention the view of the ocean as you dine! Will definitely stay here again!

- BRIAN (10/5): - This is the best resort to stay at it's quiet and has a great view of the waves and offshore islands, it's got an amazing garden and pool and chill out areas. Food is great too and having a generator during the current blackout on Siargao made us book this resort. Will be back for sure

Check-in was really awkward and one of the front desk staff members seems to not want to be bothered, but housekeeping, security, and the restaurant staff are all friendly and helpful. The chill area along the water has a nice breeze and really nice to hang out for sunset.

The room was recently renovated/painted during lockdown; spacious and in nice condition. Comfy bed. Outdoor balcony/verandah for the room is nice. Bathroom is a little dated in the configuration, but is large and comfortable and also newly painted etc. The main draw is the grounds and beach side location/view. The gardens are lovely and well maintained, with a large well kept lawn overlooking the water. The restaurant building is nice, open and airy. The staff were very attentive (I have seen other reviews saying the staff are not good, but during my stay there were many staff and they were all helpful, friendly and responsive). Food was good. A few minutes walk to the main surfing area. Overall: we were very happy with our stay. Many thanks Ocean 101!

The location is perfect - walking distance to the main surfing beach, restaurants, and stores. The hotel rooms and grounds are well maintained. Not even small window or exhaust fan. Never seen any toilet like that. Staff needs proper training. They are busy chatting or dancing rather than being attentive with guests/customer at the restaurant. They only work hard whenever the manager is around. The resort has a lot of potential, just need renovation and staff training.

- Fernando (8/5): - Beautifully situated by Cloud 9. The grounds are kept clean. Very quiet and has an amazing view of the water. Quite relaxing. The restaurant has an amazing patio. The food however is not the greatest as well as the service. The workers are quite young and not the most attentive. The staff are quite gossipy. Some of the staff were unaware that I understood what some of them were saying and they were talking negatively about myself and other costumers.

- Raphael Roberto (6/5): Good location, bad service. - Good - location was 3mins walk to Cloud 9, good view of the sea esp during sunrise, a little sunset view. Grounds were spacious, no street level noise. There's an in-house restaurant / bar. Bad - thin walls, I booked the sea view deluxe room. I woke up at 3am my neighbors were packing and rushing to catch a boat, I could hear every knock and even footstep they made. Staff were generally unhelpful. Nobody offered to help with my bags as I was checking in and it was raining hard. The restaurant staff were un-attentive and didn't seem to have a service mindset. A neighboring table yelled at one waitress who was clearly avoiding customers. During checkout I had a prolonged back and forth with the cashier who said he didn't have change and didn't offer any solutions... out of frustration I said that I would be the one to walk to the resto to get change - and then he admitted that he did have change all this time, he just didn't want to use it and run out. It's my third time to stay here, I come back because of the location. In the future, I'll just avoid eating in their resto and have zero expectations from their staff.

- A (4/5): - The property itself is superb. The location is perfect for those who love to surf because the surfing spot is just a minute walk. I love walking around the property because of its cleanliness. If you really want to relax, I highly recommend this place. The only disappointing about my stay - the staff in the restaurant. I stayed here on non peak days so there aren't too many guests. Some days, it's just my partner and I dining at the restaurant. I don't really mind that they are dancing to maybe kill time or singing on top of their lungs but please, prioritise your guests. They are not friendly, doesn't smile when approaching guests. They need a bit of training in customer service. One night, we decided to have dinner on the garden side of the restaurant. Suddenly it started raining so my partner and I hurriedly went inside to save our food from the rain. No one from the staff helped us. They were just watching us run back and forth to bring all our plates inside the restaurant. There were like 5-8 of them just sitting on the couch, chatting and using their phones. I have no problem with the other staff. The ones at the reception are friendly and helpful. To the management, please do some actions about this. Especially that you have guests from around the world. that kind of attitude from staff is very unsatisfactory for the overall performance/rating of the hotel.

When it comes to the rooms. The walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbor sometimes or the staff outside talking. The shower could be improved. The staff was nice although they forgot to book our van to the airport. I think they should do more efforts and be more service conscious regarding the needs of the clients. Maybe make available hair dryers for rent. Overall We would still come back. We just hope you take into account our comments. We would definitely recommend your place to our friends.

There’s no pool or jacuzzi, but you really don’t need one since you’re literally a couple steps away from the ocean. The staff is very accommodating. The rooms aren’t extravagant, but they have everything you need; a bed, shower, toilet, tv and most importantly, a good working air conditioning. I would definitely stay there again, and I would recommend this place to friends.

The restaurant and views over the beach are top notch and there's a slack line and balance board to play with. Staff were friendly but this island life is not always that reliable. I organised for airport pick up which never showed up, I called the hotel and they said just get a cab? Good location close to cloud 9 and other waves but not close to town/pubs etc

What we didn’t like is how the reception staff especially the male manager who is there most days, had average customer service skills and would rather sit on there mobile phones and play games and watch shows/movies instead of making eye contact with their customers.

The only problem is the staff. Our smoothie “bowls” remained outside our room for the entire stay. Nobody bothered to get them despite being in plain sight. No toiletries available. It would have been nice to have a pool, too!

Front desk lady we've checked in with need to be train how to receive guest, she just gave us the key to our room without explanation about place amnesties (like wifi only available in the restaurant area).

I ordered a beer and was given the menu For 25 min I waited No beer and no order taken While servers were standing around It’s not like they were busy working So I got up and went to the Aussie s bar down the road and got my beer This place needs some better supervision But overall I still liked it I won’t be back to the island

We stayed at the newer room and it was roomy. Beautiful sunset view. Transportation is readily available when needed. I will stay here again and will recommend to friends.

- pia (4/5): Nice View, Service Needs Improvement - When we first arrived, there were several staff at the front desk. We checked in and all they did was hand us our key. They did't say anything about the hotel amenities or give us information about our stay. I even had to ask her twice if we were done checking in. The hotel is about a 10 min tricycle ride from all the restaurants and stores. Some parts of the hotel looked run down although the view is amazing. Our kettle still had leftover water from the previous renters so we didn't use it for our coffee. Overall it was good enough to sleep in. We were out most of the day enjoying Siargao.

Our group got 3 rooms which were very clean with aircon and has big bathrooms. Staff were very helpful and nice... Cons: The Honeymoon suite room needs updating particularly its toilet and bath.

- Tony (4/5): Worse Cocktails and Food! - The food and drinks were horrible. We had a pina colada and gin tonic, both were the worst drinks we've ever had. For food, we tried the Mexican burrito and tacos, both horrible and disgusting, and should be taken off the menu. Also, a fruit shake cost 170PHP which is pricey since you can get a shake for 100PHP elsewhere. So I was expecting a decent Buko shake, but instead each sip contained pieces of the coconut shell..... After the first dining experience, we never wanted to eat/drink at the restaurant again. It's a shame that the food/cocktail is so bad for a resort because they do have a very nice two level deck to enjoy the ocean views. In our room there was no WiFi signal, and mobile signal is also dead. WiFi is available in the restaurant but it's so slow that it's unusable, and the restaurant closes at 9:30pm. The room itself was clean and spacious. AirCon was good, and there was hot water in the shower. Bed was comfortable and big. No complaints with the room we got. For the price, there are definitely better resorts to stay at since the food/drinks are so horrible that you will spend more time and transportation cost outside the resort.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I put my bags in the room and go out when I back al of my things was full of ants, I move to other room but it was in the back of the restaurant so the smell there was terrible.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Nice location, run down building, lingering sewage smell in the bathrooms. No traps under sinks. Do not give your room number in the restaurant. Pay right after the meal, and keep the receipt. Better yet avoid it as a plague. Less than mediocre food with very high prices.
- Shiela (10/5): - We love the ambiance of the hotel which is just overlooking the beach. However just some comments below which i think can improve their hotel facilities and services more: 1. Hotel Staff - The receptionist does not seem to be that welcoming. She informed us that they will send housekeeping everyday to clean and make up our room during our stay, However this did not happen. We have to ask to send housekeeping to sweep the floor and put out the trash. Unfortunately, our requests was not also done. 2. Beds - Its not that comfortable 3. Food - Not good. Do not order the Satay, Adobo and Lemon Chicken. 4. Maintenance - There is no 24 hours maintenance. We have to help this nice korean couple with some concerns in their room door or window (i cannot really remember). It was heavily raining that night and we looked around the area for a staff but nobody was around. Finally we went around the back and knocked on this small nipa hut and called on the guard. He admitted that during that time of the night there was no one else but him so he offered to just assist and repair whatever is broken in the poor couple’s room. 5. Staff coordination - It would be best if the owner can invest in a portable two-way radio so that the receptionist could reach our to her housekeeping, maintenance and security better for any urgent concerns. The place is big and their cellphone signal is not that good and cannot be used properly to call on their staff immediately.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Beautiful Hotel close to cloud 9 but too far from other restaurants/establishments. Our hotel room's door needs to be pulled to lock. Not so good comfort room.

- JB (8/5): - The location can’t be beat! The resort could use some TLC but it’s nice. There’s also no pool, like Expedia says there is. Was disappointed about that. The WiFi in the restaurant works 95% of the time which was nice. The sunset’s are unreal and the restaurant food was good!
