Guest Reviews
- Eduard (8/5): Was really fun - The playgrounds The chairs in the hut were unconfortable, and the the individual matrasses a bit thin
- Ilva (9/5): -
- Jensen (5/5): -
- Sven (6/5): Short and uncomfy beds - Great location Beds way too short. Also bed structure really bad - everyone hit their legs.
- Martine (8/5): Great location, take your own bedlinnen or pay extra to rent them. - Location was great and good value for money nearby Legoland The only thing, we had to rent bed linnen at an additional fee. It’s mentioned in the bathroom section but it’s not entirely clear in the property description.
- Catrin (8/5): - Bra pris, bra läge mycket trevlig personal. Lite hårda sängar men annars bra.
- Caroline (1/5): DON’T RECCOMEND THIS PLACE - Location The beds were bad! We all got back aches from sleeping in them! We had to put on bed sheets ourself , WTF?! The pillows were old asf, that’s disgusting! The floor was dirty!! We are not happy! And we paid a lot just for 3 nights…
- alexandre (7/5): -
- Nathalie (7/5): -
- Jette (8/5): -
- Hans (8/5): -
- Aneeqa (10/5): Legoland villiage - Everything was easily accessible.
Neuro diverse friendly.
Plenty for children of all ages to do. It was self catering however no toaster or microwave, this made it difficult to make meals so had to purchase meals instead.
- Line Trosterud (10/5): Barnevennlig - Veldig barnevennlig. Mange flotte lekeplasser. Fine omgivelser.
Huisje was schoon Het bed was heeeeeel klein. We moesten diagonaal slapen + veel spinnen.
- Ana (10/5): Simplemente extraordinario - Todo
Las instalaciones tienen muchas zonas infantiles.
Parques, colchonetas, tirolinas.
Está impecable, tranquilo.
Todo precioso El precio, Dinamarca es cara. Pero merece la pena.
- Nikita (6/5): - Location, lego decor, super market, playgrounds Hot and cold tap is not good, our child burned his fingers trying to wash up. Dirty floor in the cabin. Felt quite small and cramped. No wall sound proofing. No place to sit down and lounge in the cabin.
- Ewa (9/5): -
- Nielsen (7/5): -
- Charlotte (9/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): - The Lego village was great, our kids loved spotting the lego models and also all the playgrounds around the areas. The Wlid west cabin was clean and well enough equipped for us to make breakfast and packed lunches. The only negative was that when we asked at reception about getting around Billund no one mentioned the free shuttle bus, we only found out about it on our last day.
Men anbefales.
Finnes gratisbuss fra flyplass og byen.
- Raimonda (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (4/5): Bare bones close to Lego - Location to Lego and the theming. Good WiFi That I had to pay $60 for sheets for my bed. I knew it was “camp”y but had no idea sheets were an extra expense. Taking that into account, I could have stayed at the Lego hotel for a bit more $. Didn’t realize the accommodations were SO barebones.
- Jenny (10/5): - Allt toppen! Bra läge trevlig personal, barnen stormtrivdes med omgivning o stuga.
- Tom Erik (8/5): Fint for barna - Et godt alternativ for barnefamilier. Men ikke forvent stort. Trangt, stein harde madrasser, knøttlite toalett og bad med svørt begremset mengde varmt vann. Men ideelt for barn dersom været er bra👍
- Juha-Pekka (8/5): Wild west cabin for 2+3 - Cabin was perfect value for our family. Services, showers etc., were good an hospitality, customer services, were at great level. Children liked very much the different playground areas and mooncars. 4 stars out of five, because there is always room to improve, like garbage separation and sorting.
- Mohammed Azeem (8/5): - Very good for kids; open area, multiple playgrounds, activities in restaurant & reception. There's even a mini golf area in the corner of the site.
Cabin was a little small especially the beds. The double was just 2 single mattresses put together. Bring your own sheets or pay for Legoland own. The lighting was dim but gave us an idea of what it would be like in 'the wild west.'
Overall it was good but if we was to book again I would consider Ninjago cabins which looked much bigger.
- Modrite (8/5): Very good - Poor quality blanket and pillows.
- Amit (5/5): Location is great but rooms need good maintenance - Location is good, kids friendly Rooms were not well maintained, bathroom doors were broken when we arrived and heating was not working at some places, one needs to figure out what was wrong with them. If one is to clean out before they leave the space then there has to be enough tools to cleanup before leaving. I didn’t understand the policy to rent the sheets even after an exorbitant room rents.
- Joanna (1/5): Worst nights sleep of my life! Avoid at all cost if you like a comfortable bed - Good location, good playground and activities for kids, lovely and close to la landia The worst nights sleep I have ever had in my life! The beds were terrible and the most uncomfortable ever! A rubbish thin foam “mattress” on wooden board bed - horrendous! Avoid at all cost!
- Sharma (8/5): Very good - Peaceful, clean and family friendly.
- Amy (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - The lodge is very convenient for Legoland, just a 10-15 minute walk away. The site is great with it's own animals and plenty of play areas for kids. There is also a trail you can do to find the code and be entered into a draw to win a prize. Unfortunately we didn't win but was good to see the site. The lodge had a couple of maintenance issues. One of the smaller lights wasn't working and the shower head had been taped on with duct tape which once wet didn't work so I had to hold the shower head up whilst showering which was a pain.
- Greville (8/5): Very good -
- Pedro (8/5): Nice stay - The cabins do feel like camping, and our grandson loved it. The gardened exterior was beautiful, with activities for kids. It is very close by walk to Legoland. We never expected that we would have to pay extra for bed linen that was given to us at check-in and make the bed. The linen was only for single beds making it challenging for the larger bed. There was a kitchenette but no microwave nor dishwashing liquid.
- Bing (7/5): Good - For kids they have fun Cold and small
- Tianyu (8/5): Very good - Great location and plenty playgrounds for kids to play in the village. The Cabin is very basic.
- Ilona (8/5): Wonderfull - Everything was perfect except the size of bedrooms , especially the double bed where my slim but tall husband had problems fitting in.
- Gordon (9/5): Superb -
- Sara (10/5): Excellent stay in a comfortable and clean chalet, well situated for attractions with brilliant facilities for families - Clean, well appointed, excellent facilities for children
- Gerda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jill (8/5): Good as a base .. easy to get where we needed to go when we worked out where we where. - N/A Cabin was good.. a bit cramped for 4 adults, but ok as a base …easy walking distance to legoland / lego house, laplandia.. shuttle bus between them all. we were falling over each other a bit. Beds were big enough for adults .. actually better than being in a caravan. kitchen was basic - kettle and a hot plate.. lots of cutlery and crockery. coffee cups like expresso cups … multiple buffets available around £30 a head , but all u can eat so worth ot of u eat a lot.. kids half price . but ample for what we needed.. would we go again… could do with a club or a takeaway.. everything seems to close by 9pm ..
- Tjerkjan (3/5): Uncomfortable - Location is close enough to Legoland and the Lego House. And the playgrounds were fine. And the staff really was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was tiny, the bed extremely uncomfortable, the kitchen very basic and the bathroom also hardly acceptable. The cabins really are a terrible value for your money.
- Áskelsdóttir (9/5): Loved it! - This place is just perfect for families with kids. The staff is great and helpful and our cabin was clean and very well kept. We had a very The cooking stove could do with a renewal into a more modern type that heats up and cools down more swftly.
The breakfast and evening buffets were a bit on the to expensive side so we didn't use that option as much as we might have liked to.
- Eriks (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Everything.
- Boris (10/5): It was perfect! - Perfect!
- Evangelia (7/5): Basic - The location is really nice! Inside the woods. While we were inside the mini market, a very rude lady kicked us out because they had to close in 1 minute. We wanted to buy some basic stuff, but she was furious, so we grabbed a bottle of water and left. ....😡😠
Inside the room, there wasn't even some toilet paper.
- Biola (8/5): Small cabin - perfect for an overnight stay close to Legoland and Lalandia - Location was very close to Legoland and Lalandia, as expected, so perfect.
Beds were fine - stay just as required Wifi was very weak/ not really functional
toilet roll dispenser was not functioning well, but otherwise, everything was fine, and as expected.
- James (7/5): Good -
- Rickard (10/5): Great! - Perfect location to LEGOLAND. Free shuttle much appreciated!
- Margus (9/5): Superb -
- Jeanette (10/5): - Legoland byder alt godt til hele familien.
- David (7/5): Great location. Would go back - Nice and clean. Quiet location with lots of playgrounds.
An enjoyable stay. The cabins are smaller than expected. Double bed is a bit short (I could just about touch both walls when lying down)
Terrible pillows
- Bruce (8/5): - The cabins are, well cabins. Don't go expecting a 4-star hotel. It is camping. My family loved it. Great for kids with lots of play areas, obstacle courses, etc.
Walkable to Legoland and Landis. Park right at your cabin.
- Teodora (8/5): Very good - The camping village was well organized with a lot of facilities for the kids. I was surprised that the sheets and towers were extra charged and you have to return them to the reception office at check-out.
- Mollie (4/5): Not worth the cost - I don't think we quite understoon the "Campy" level that these accommodations were. For nearly $400 (when you include the price of renting our own linens) this felt very, very over priced. The cabin was TINY and very dimly lit. The beds were also TINY (the bunks where made for toddlers, not my teenage kids) and the room for adults was wall to wall bed. You had to climb over the other person to get in and out. The bathroom was also TINY. The "kitchen" if you could call it that, had a tiny beverage fridge, and a hot plate with a couple of pans. NO BOWLS! How are you supposed to eat breakfast with no bowls?!? We were all very happy our stay here was only one night, as I think we would have gone crazy trying to live here longer. We are not a campy family, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. The only lego features were some lego statues on our walk into the place and a very overpriced buffet we could pay for to have a meal (which we opted not to do.) If we ever come back to Billund, we will be looking else where for a place to stay.
- Maris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (7/5): Good - It is too expensive to pay that much for the sheets. Location
- Anderson (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jean (7/5): Great stay our kids loved it but not great value for money - The campsite is in great location less than 10 min walk to Legoland Park and Billund town center the park is very well maintained very clean and has great facilities. It’s just wonderful for kids has loads of playgrounds and some donkeys and goats. My kids loved the Wild West cabins it was just overall great fun. EVERYTHING is extra including bedsheets and towels which at GBP 220 a night I felt bed clothes and towels should be included. We stayed in the Wild West cabins we were provided with a dish cloth and one tea towel no dish soap but you are expected to wash the dishes we were only staying for 3 nights so having to buy dish soap was annoying. The shop is expensive they didn’t offer anything in small pack sizes like washing clothes detergent coffee or sugar or salt etc so make sure to pack your own. Billund town center is about 10-15 walk away where there is a REMA 1000 like a Lidl or Aldi so a lot cheaper. I would not recommend the pirates inn buffet it is very expensive and the food was just not good very dated and just poor quality.
- Keith (8/5): Great Place to Stay - The location was within walking distance to Legoland and Lalandia.
For American travelers, there isn't air conditioning in the cabins. Not a bad thing, just something to know and understand.
- Jennifer (7/5): We had a great stay and loved being so close to Lalandia and Legoland! - The location is supreme! Right across from Lalandia so you can go there and use those attractions. About a 10 minute walk to Legoland. If you don't have a car, you can take a taxi or walk to Lego House (about a 35 min walk). Wifi is so-so. Didn't have it in my bedroom or the kids' bedroom. The beds are comfortable enough. The place was clean-ish. You have to pay extra for linens and towels. The area is decent with some kids playing areas. Store onsite, restaurant onsite, the staff are pretty friendly. There's a free bus shuttle that goes all over that leaves right outside the store and near reception. Kids loved it. :) Wifi was not great. TV -they should offer at least one kids channel in English (all is in Danish). Not as clean as I'd like (not dirty but you could see some little places that weren't cleaned thoroughly).
- Heller (8/5): Very good -
- Mihkel (9/5): Perfect stay to visit Legoland and Lalandia. - I liked the camping style of the accommodation. It served all our 4 person family`s needs. It had all the essentials one needs. Staff was always available and extremely friendly, kind and helpful. There is an opportunity to sit on the terrace. Proximity of Legoland, Lalandia, playgrounds and shop. Many playgrounds on site. It was rather dark in the cabin. In case of very bad weather, if it not that convenient to sit outside on the balcony, it probably gets cramped in the cabin.
- Asia (3/5): Location is the only good thing about this place. - The location is great, and this is why they get away with providing the bare minimum. There are small parks on the site, trampolines, and go karts for hire. Alot of things aren't advertised when you arrive. First time in my life I've had to make up a bed and strip the beds when checking out. We paid 672 GBP for 3 nights which is expensive plus about 50 GBP for linen hire. The cabins inside reached temperatures of 35 degrees, no proper ventilation, no fans or AC. The 3 nights we stayed didnt sleep much it was boiling even with all the little windows opened. We didn't use any cutlery or dishes as dish soap isn't provided, your required to wash up before leaving. The shop had zero vegetarian sandwiches, overpriced on everything. We didn't use their resturaunt as we heard from other customers how negative it was. The cabins inside need upgrading for the cost people are paying. The pillows are unacceptable floppy bits of ancient wool, mattresses uncomfortable, creaky beds. Even the curtains have never ever been washed, they smelt dirty. Other than location, this place isn't worth it. We won't ever return.
- Lukas (2/5): Rip off. - Location, that it is close to Legoland There are no beed sheets or towels in the cabins.. If you need towels, it is 95 DKK per person. If you don’t take out trash or clean dishes - it is 400 DKK fine. Basically they are refusing their responsibilities as an accomodation (such as provide towels, bed sheets or cleaning) and charging extra hidden fees on top. So I would say beware. There is also no information about that on the booking about any of those policies or that they do not provide such basic things as bed sheets.
- Isabelle (10/5): Will surely visit again - So peaceful, very clean and so nice 😁 Everything was perfect 👍🏼
- Jim (10/5): Fantastic area well worth the visit - The variety of children's parks nearby were amazing!
My daughters loved it
Beside a water world too.
Plenty to do and see A tad bit expensive to shop in local market but it would not stop me going again.
Well worth the money
- Sanket (7/5): Good -
- Adams (9/5): Superb - The village was excellent, the cabins were comfortable and close to legoland. A few ants in the kitchen, thought the food was a bit expensive, but nice.
