- Chinodon (9/5): Great staff - I like the size of the room. And the fact we had two closets. You had lots of room to store our clothes. I didn't like the sofa and the seating area. It was old, saggy and dirty. The whole room needs an update. A refurbishment, if you will. I have stayed here several times in the past and it's always been great. But the furniture is worn and dated.

- Cynthia (1/5): - Some of the staff need to be more respectful and work on their customer service. They also need to work on their communication and hotel safety. There was an issue with my reservation, and I was kicked out of my room 2 hours before check out. The lady that knocked on my door to let me know I needed to go downstairs was rude. She needs to handle herself differently, and she needs to learn how to speak to her paying customers. The whole situation needed to be handled better than it was as it was not my fault that the lady who checked me in messed up on her side. My safety could have been compromised, but luckily, I was okay. They need to be more careful about how they handle bookings. I definitely will not be going back, which sucks because the hotel itself was really nice. Talking down on customers is never okay.

I love that the room had a full size fridge, stove, sitting area, extra tv. I enjoyed myself here and really was able to relax. I loved the quiet, chill vibe here which is why I will return in the future. I don't have any complaints really.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t do it - Horrible the room was dirty and towels were Dirty as well as the bedding. I had to stay for A work trip. I also had to move rooms at 11 pm because of my room being dirty. As a Marriott member this was disappointing. Andres was rude and Carmen was rude at first but then became nice. The refrigerator had a water leak. Mold in the sink. The next room was not better because that sink did not drain. This was a hot mess and had the nerve to tell me I could not get a late check out. The cleaning staff was rude. Broken cabinets smh don’t waste your money

- W (5/5): Passable - Disappointing Front Desk Service & Poor Wi-Fi I booked my stay two weeks in advance, specifically requesting a non-smoking, quiet room on an upper floor. However, upon check-in, the front desk staff seemed to disregard my request. When I reiterated it, I was given only two options—either a room on the first floor or one on the second floor facing the highway—both the opposite of what I had requested. It felt as though my preferences were completely ignored. Additionally, my request for a late check-out was denied, despite the fact that I had just arrived from an international flight. The morning front desk staff was equally unhelpful, responding to my inquiries with a cold and impatient attitude, making it clear that either they were unhappy with their job or simply didn’t care to assist guests. By contrast, at another Marriott hotel the following day, the staff checked availability and easily accommodated my request for a 2:00 PM late check-out. The difference in service was striking. Unfortunately, the experience at this location was disappointing, both in terms of hospitality and basic amenities like Wi-Fi, which was also poor throughout my stay.

- Joshua (9/5): Solid, reliable experience, good for kid, can be pricey - We stay at this hotel every time we visit our family for Christmas. The rooms are pretty well maintained and provide a consistent experience. The outdoor area is useful with a fire pit and bbq. Haven't tried the pool but probably will if we visit in a warm season. The suites are valuable for if you have a kid and need to be able to close the door when they sleep. Depending on time of year, it can be pretty expensive, considering where we are. I was expecting Chino Hills to be cheaper, but rates hover around $125-180 a night. They usually offer a pack n play if you ask for a crib, but this time, they could only offer a very large, unwieldy metal crib. Apparently, the pack n plays wore out too quickly and they did not feel like replacing them. The new cribs are much, much worse, and if you happen to use a slumber pod, they will not fit properly. We checked out the pull out bed just to see. It was very uncomfortable and very dusty. I wouldn't recommend actually using it to try and sleep.

- Debra (2/5): - This is great property EXCEPT at New Years . . . and perhaps other time when the brewery next door has a massive blow-out rave-like party. We stayed at the hotel for new years and did NOT expect that we would be stuck awake until 1 am listen to LOUD LOUD LOUD music. We purposely left a new year's party to be back at our hotel and quietly welcome in the new year. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm and were had to endure a horrible LOUD party literally next door. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL for peace and quiet.

- E1934UVpeterk (2/5): Do not stay here. It’s a construction site! - This place is under construction. Nothing was said about this at time of reservation. I am in a room directly under the construction. Called the desk and was told that it will continue until 8pm. Paying too much to be in a construction site. My daughter is trying to study for class, has headphones with loud music playing and can still hear the hammering.
- JerryJ3424 (2/5): Stay elsewhere. - Room was very dimly lir. One bedside lamp inoperative. Asked for linens to be replaced and after texting and personal visit to front desk I still had to go 6 hours later and find a housekeeper to get them. Entry door slammed shut every time it was used and this went on all night. Go elsewhere.
- Michael (2/5): Never again make reservations through Hotels,com! - YOU cancelled our reservations therefore did not stay at your property. Since YOU CANCELLED our reservation you offered another property in Yorba Linda 13 miles away, Since we attended a Beer Fest at Luchador next door and had been drinking for 3 hours not a good idea to drive that's why we made reservations on September 20 to make sure we would have a place to stay. When we attempted to check in mid-afternoon the desk clerk told us our reservation was cancelled, she told us we received a text/email regarding the cancellation which we did not. We asked to speak to the manager and was told she (the manager) had the day off. I cannot imagine a property like The Marriot had to one to speak with besides the young women at the front desk. I expect a reply to this communication and an explanation as to why this happened and why should i ever use Hotels.com to book another reservation through you and the Marriot properties.
