Guest Reviews
- Bhounsule (9/5): - Well trained staff, welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful and nature lovers will definitely like it. They have kids friendly food options which is a huge plus point. Location is in the outskirts, so have to depend on resort restaurant for food which has a limited options. Cleanliness in restaurant area can be improved. Our washroom door was not closing.
- Jean (9/5): - We are travelling with bicycles and our cardboard boxes are kept in the hotel while we are touring.
Everything is as expected, and even better.
Very friendly and helpful management and staff.
🙏
- ALAN (10/5): - Friendly, attentive staff.
The manager helped organise our tour of the Jaipur forts, exchange money and provide a heater for the morning when it was chilly getting up!
Cute dining room, and a nice garden. Nothing
- Bhupinder (10/5): - The manager and staff were excellent the place was clean and away from the city which was ideal for us The road leading up to the resort which is in bad condition
- bastien (10/5): - Personnel très serviable, resto top

- Krishna (10/5): Great experience. We will visit again - Mr. Sharma and staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Mr. Sharma was available around the clock and ensure our stay and everything related from booking cab to experiences were seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a quiet but accessible place. We would visit again
- Raghav (10/5): -
- Rachel Jane (9/5): Perfect peaceful place - Such a peaceful place with lovely gardens and not far outside the city. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely pool and great local food. We especially enjoyed our trip to the local Amer village and fort with Lokesh who kindly also took us to a local heritage craft cooperative and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Hathi Mauja was a wonderful place for a few days break. Just noise from local weddings
- Mùmbà (10/5): -
- Sharma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yas&jc (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Beautiful hotel with big rooms and very nice pool. Food was tasty and staff very friendly. Only 4 sunbeds, the restaurant didn't have music and was quite expensive. Road to hotel is very very bad.
- Harendra (9/5): Superb -
- Minip5 (8/5): Beautiful, tranquil place with good food. - Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Food was amazing, tasty and delicious 😋 The shower didn't work in the first room and water wasn't hot in the second room. Also, fridge disconnected when you took the key out due to electricity switch off.
- Dash (10/5): Quiet and relaxing, you need this place. -
- Bernard (9/5): Nice quiet resort made of separate cottages and with friendly staff, just outside of Jaipur - Rather new resort with a very nice lay-out. Several cottages with 1 or 2 floors all with own balcony or terrace. We had a cottage for ourselves. It was cosy and the bed was comfortable. Very good hot water boiler with a good bathroom (but see below). The resort was a very quiet place and there was a good swimming pool. There was also an on-site restaurant serving good lunch and dinner. The continental breakfast was just ok.
The staff was very friendly (thanks to Khusiram, the cook) and always willing and quick to help out on something. There was no way that you could take a shower without making the whole bathroom floor wet. I suggested the manager to simply solve this problem by adding shower curtains which he said he would certainly do.
They had offered that a member of the staff would drive us to Jaipur along a few places to see. The driver, Lokesh, certainly had good intentions and did his best. However, he was a bit too present and too pushy in wanting us to visit things we did not want. This was a pity as it spoiled a bit our short visit to Jaipur.
- Sidharth (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was very good. Rooms were neat and clean. The food was very delicious.
- Diego (10/5): A place to come back to - Very pleaseant hotel, we had a great stay at Hathi Mauja, we enjoyed some relax time and excellent food at the restaurant. The staff has been very kind and friendly, specially Khusiram who has been very professional and detail-oriented.
Thank you ! Nothing

- Prashant (10/5): Exceptional - Nice little resort with exceptional staff that make your stay very pleasant. We travelled with two young children and we were looked after very well. The food was amazing and the chefs were able to personalise the meals for kids as requested. The access road has too many potholes.
- Sharma (9/5): Superb - I recommend hathi mauza resort for peace lovers.niceplace good food friendly staff.
- Saahil (10/5): 100% homely vibes at the heart of Jaipur! - Amazing Experience! From location, to food to service everything is awesome! This place gives you 100% homely vibes at a very reasonable cost. We are definitely going to revisit soon!! Everything is perfect!
- Mangal (9/5): Superb - I liked the overall ambience of the property. I did not like the approach road to the property.

- Choudhary (8/5): Very good -
- Sajeesh (9/5): Superb - Awesome place. Nice people. Had a very nice stay and experience
- Abhishek (10/5): Amazing stay for Family - The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was amazing and end up eating alot. The staff provided help about routes and also suggested which time to avoid driving. The property requires some minor renovation.
- Siddhant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandy (8/5): Very good - I loved the gated and open courtyard feel of the accommodation with cottages around the lawn. This gave a sense of peace and felt safe and private. The restaurant was lovely, tucked away in the corner, and serving delicious meals all day. The pool was fantastic and just what we needed after a hot day at Amber Palace and the wonderful Elefanjoy sanctuary close by. This didn't affect our stay at all but the hotel needs some work and maintenance. It looks tired and dated.
- Indhu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vinay (10/5): Exceptional - Every thing is perfect. highly appreciate the staff and manager. they all work with smile that's amazing.property is like you are in the lap of nature.
- Carolyn (8/5): Very good - Location close to Amer Fort & Elefanjoy Sanctuary. Good food. Friendly helpful staff. Hotel looking tired & in need of painting & decorating maintenance. Does not match photos on Booking.com
- Lokesh (10/5): Exceptional - One word! Fabulous. Same as it is in photos on booking.com.
- Aparajita (9/5): Quiet and peaceful oasis - Very peaceful and cozy, excellent food The beddings were not clean for one of the rooms we booked.
- Ash (8/5): Very good -
- Aleksandra (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting Jaipur - Amazing hospitality. Green and calm oasis to run away from the city.
Close to Amber Fort. But around 30minutes from city centre.
Very good restaurant in place and staff that is helpful!
- Mark (10/5): Highly recommended - Peaceful setting on the edge of the city. Large room with balcony overlooking gardens. Good pool area. Great food. Excellent staff, being attentive, informative and extremely helpful. The hotel organised a very comprehensive one day tour of all the key sites in Jaipur and Amer.
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - Resort and staff were excellent. Food was fantastic especially items recommended by lokish All was good. Hidden gem
- Mohammed (8/5): Very good - Staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Good service overall.
The rooms are spacious and finished well.
The compound is safe for families and has lots of facilities to keep everyone entertained. Food isn't the best, I'd give the food at this hotel a 6.5/10
The pool isn't heated, which is a let down.
- Pardeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Baldeep (8/5): Very good -
- Avinash (9/5): Superb -
- Priyank (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the rooms, service , location and overall experience. A definite recommendation 😀 Nothing.
- Gunjan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is perfect. The food, service and the fact that the kitchen is open from 8am to 10pm is a great convenience that is not common. The staff is very helpful, the manager Mr. Manjeet and all the support staff make sure you are comfortable throughout your stay. The property is great too, serene yet lively with the light decorations and the lawn was awesome especially at this time of the year. -
- Nicolas (10/5): Very good stay in Agra. - The food from the room service is very good! The people in the hotel are super nice and always there to help. The hotel is outside the city but still close enough from the main things to see. We had a few issues with the wifi but they got resolved quickly thanks to the proactivity of the staff.
- Alok (9/5): Very comfortable stay, and the location is awesome because of vicinity to Hathi gaon. - The breakfast buffet had many options and the staff was very hospitable. The staff made every effort to make things easy for us. Not a major deal but the bathroom needs some minor work. The flow in the shower could be increased and in the toilet flush could be decreased.
- Nupur (8/5): Very good -
- P (10/5): Great place to stay away from city - The location, staff behavior and the price tag Nothing in particular
- Anurag (9/5): Superb -
- Mohamad (9/5): Superb -
- Deepangshu (9/5): Superb -
- Prateek (9/5): Superb - It's a great place with awesome staff. It's just next to "Hathi Gaon" - Elephant village where we enjoyed elephant ride.
The resort is calm and peaceful. Jaipur city center is just 15 minutes drive away.
Special thanks to Manjeet (manager), Lokesh and Mukesh (kitchen staff) who took care of all our requests ( customized food and baby food ) .
All in all a good property 😃 Please add more some stuff for toddlers and kids -- swings like see-saw, bouncing balls, up & down so that small kids get involved for some time and parents also get a breather and me time.
- Akhil (10/5): This place is a hidden gem. The management and staff are incredibly helpful. Highly recommended. - Everything . A bit in outskirts but the ambiance is serene. Nothing to dislike

Manjeet Sharma and Lokesh took care of every requirement and provided with all the basic amenities.
Whole staff is very helpful.
Must stay place if you want home like feel. NA
- Amit (9/5): Superb -
- Shaleen (9/5): Superb -
- Himanshu (10/5): Wonderful experience - Breakfast was delicious. Very friendly staff especially GM Manjit was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. We have enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Property was exactly as described.
- Kartik (7/5): Good -
- Prince (9/5): Had a great experience. with my 7 month old baby they helped me customise food, overall amazing - breakfast was average but the did make customise options for eggs, parathas etc
- Abhishek (9/5): Superb -
- Gaurav (9/5): fabulous - location and friendly staff road leading to property is broken
- Anirudh (6/5): Overall a reasonable safe place with 2 star service - -The room size and outdoor ambiance are great.
-There is a balcony outside each cottage with chairs and beds and it's a beautiful place to relax.
-The bathroom and amenities are good.
-Staffs are responsive and helpful.
- Variety of Rajasthani and desi dishes to choose from on menu cards (including both veg and non-veg), and these are not very expensive. Food quality is excellent. The spices are moderated according to our request.
-This is one of the most convenient places to stay if visiting Amber palace, Hathi gaon, Jaigarh, and Nahargarh fort. -The restaurant is not 24 hours and closes by 10 pm. This particularly was a problem for us, despite giving the order for milk for my child they forgot to provide it, and the time we noticed it was past 10 pm and neither the staff nor the main reception responded to my call. They still billed it and I had to bring this to their attention to remove them.
-The food options for breakfast are very limited, although the food they serve is really good.
-The semi-open play area particularly table tennis, and carrom board is full of dust and hasn't been cleaned in a long while. Found this to be particularly concerning since these are the areas kids hang out a lot.
-This is a considerable distance to travel if the plan is to see Jaipur city (Jal Mahal, Hawa mahal, city palace, Bapu Bazaar, etc), however, this would be the most convenient place to stay if visiting Amber palace, Hathi gaon, Jaigarh, and Nahargarh palace.
-It takes at least an hour-long journey to the airport, and Uber/Ola might be an inconsistent cheaper alternative considering the remoteness.
- Sidharth (8/5): Very good -
- Kim (10/5): I enjoyed my stay here, everything was to my satisfaction and beyond, I highly recommend this hotel - Breakfast was good many choices and my request for eggs was great poached to perfection. Fruit was also on offer where I received my favourite watermelon thank you A menu at breakfast would enhance understanding of what’s available.
No bar or alcoholic drinks offered. Didn’t know there wasn’t any on offer but could have taken my own if known but owner did offer to get me some, I only wanted one drink and was happy to have lovely Masala tea instead, thank you for my complimentary cup.
- Dheeraj (9/5): Superb -
- Tripathi (10/5): Excellent stay and beautiful property with good amenities. - Location was excellent. Rooms were amazing. Cooperative staff.
- Gail (10/5): Highly recommend - simply stunning. we had a single storey bungalow, huge room and bathroom, comfy bed, every room has its own terrace that overlooks the central lawn area. The room has a USB port to charge your devices, and a European socket, lots of other sockets as well. Ladies, it actually has a huge mirror, with a shelf, next to a socket for hair and make up! Kettle and fridge, I’m a big coffee drinker so always take my own but their coffee sachets are delicious. Lots of choice at breakfast and the food was out of this world. We never picked a single meal ourselves, we preferred to let our waiter, Lockish, choose for us. I had one particular favourite and, on our last night, chef invited me to his kitchen to show me how to make it at home. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they will always check and see if there is anything you want or need. The property is about 10km outside Jaipur but only 2km from the forts. Taxis are easy to get and Mr Manjeet will arrange or suggest any trips you might like to take.
To be honest, when we went sightseeing we couldn’t wait to get back.
- Catherine (1/5): This was our worst stay in India. I have never had to leave a hotel at the start of my stay before. - There was nothing good about this stay and I would encourage no-one to stay here. There are much better hotels for the price with better locations then this. This place is built to be an inclusive scam. They will send you with scammer guides who try to bleed you for more money after a set price was agreed upon before leaving and with the inconvenient location it is almost impossible to get out of there or to come back without giving them the control over your drivers and your entire stay. They will then go to great lengths to continue to screw over their guest as was indicated by Booking.com when they tried to intervene and middleman. Now two weeks later we are fighting a ghost second charge which just went through last night. They made us use two different machines to pay. The first one "failed" and the second one went through. The first charged dropped off for two weeks and has now confirmed to the account and we are having to go through the hassle of fighting this now. The hotel tried to scam us multiple times. We booked their guided trips and the first one we had a set price. This location makes it so you can almost not leave without letting them have full control of the drivers and timing since it is not situated near anything and is hard to find personal rides. The hotel then let us go with their designated drivers who tried to take double the money from us after we started to drive away with them even though the price was agreed upon. The hotel assured me it would not happen again. We then went back to the hotel without participating because of how sketchy their drivers were. We decided to get laundry done with them which was one of the highest prices in the area and it came back so wet that we had to dry it overnight ourselves and it had a strong odor to some items to indicate they were not clean. We were missing items from the laundry so I confronted the front desk man. They never asked what was missing, but they went away for 15 minutes and came back with the items, without knowing what they were. My wife was very uncomfortable with having her personal items stolen. At this time we requested to leave the next day with Booking.com since the hotel was not being cooperative. After Booking.com called them they were more willing to help. They seemed to be ok with making our stay shorter but Booking reached out to us and told us they had to have multiple contacts to negotiate our early leave. We had been in the hotel about 10 hours with all this happening and if it was a better location we would have left that night but it was late so we stayed. Throughout this time they were constantly calling and knocking on our door after we told them not to and harassing us. It is unimaginable that after all they did that Booking.com had to have multiple points of contact just to negotiate our release when we were more than willing to pay for the night we stayed as long as we could leave first thing that morning. They also double charged us.
- Diana (10/5): Just perfect. We stayed for six nights and could have stayed much longer. Taxis are easy to get and even thought the res - The service, food and location is excellent. The chef, Staff and Manager were amazing. All our needs were catered for and met quickly and efficiently. We stayed in a single detached cottage and had so much room. The bed is really comfortable and facilities perfect.
The swimming pool was amazing. Breakfast is second to none!
We will definitely return soon.
Just book here, you will not regret it. X nothing
- Anita (10/5): it’s a very nice property with a great view and good services - cleanliness and very hospitable staff….specially Mr Manjeet and Mr Ramesh were very kind and helpful
- Nelson (10/5): I would love to come again n again - Good food n excellent location Food
- Dan (1/5): Bad -
- Jasbir (9/5): Very nice resort with good food and excellent staff - There are many things we liked about this resort but the one thing which stands out is the hospitality of the staff members. They were just awesome to help us meet all our requirement even at 1 am in the morning. Very nice place with good facilities and good food. Ideal place to unwind with family and friends. The approach road to the resort is not as we expected but once you are inside you forget about it and it becomes a miniscule part of the whole experience.
- Subhash (10/5): Phenomenal Awesome Must Experience! - Breakfast was an experience in itself.
Atmosphere and Environment is beyond belief.
Every single staff are phenomenal.
Amenities are both kid and adult friendly. Pool, Swing, Cricket, Table Tennis, open lawn.
Management of the property is precise! Kind of double edged sword on this review. Location is breathtaking but too far from city. But I wouldn't have it any other way.
- Britta (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing stay in this property. It was very quiet, the property is superb and the staff friendly.
- Richard (10/5): Provided great service around a relaxed environmen - Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and the owner and staff were very accommodating and provided excellent service looking after us. The location is bliss from the bustle and noise of the city.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing property. I went with my family to spend some quality relaxing time and I was not at all disappointed. Locations is great, service is fantastic, staff is great and manager Manjit is spot on. Room amenties and fixtures are good but could be better. Breakfast is also quite pleasing. We shall certainly return next time.
