• Bilal (4/5): - Smells, the hotel doesn’t smell, but the room, stains on the sheets, I opened the window just to see a wall. Staff is nice .
• Shirley (8/5): - Cold water was not working in the shower. Shower floor was not properly cleaned. A lump of hair in the floor area of the shower has been there since we arrived. It is still there even in our last day of stay. I had to use slippers when showering to make sure I’m not directly stepping on the floor during shower as I am not sure whether it has been cleaned or not. Outside of that, the stay was good.

• Rahama (6/5): - The property is definitely one star. The lobby area is nice but that’s about it. The rooms need major upgrades as well. There were some bugs in our room as well and we had notified the front desk staff. They stated that it was probably our fault because we probably ate food in the room (which we didn’t). Either way, suitable enough to just have a space to lay your head down after a day of exploring

• Cedric (10/5): Très bien pour le prix. - Les notes et la revue sont basées sur le standing de l’hôtel et surtout le prix de la chambre. Moins de 30€ avec le petit déjeuner. Nous avons pris cet hôtel pour nous reposer quelques heures après le trajet chiang mai - Bangkok, fait de nuit avec une arrivée à 6h du matin. La réservation de notre « vrai » hôtel commençant à 14h, on avait réservé une chambre dans celui-ci. Sans prétention mais propre, avec ce qu’il faut. On pourrait y rester quelques jours sans problème. Le personnel est pro est sympathique

• rodmunrom (8/5): Dry decent budget hotel - Accepting this is a budget hotel, we thought it was very good. This review should update those written pre covid as I do not recognise this hotel from those reviews I have read on Tripadvisor. Nice size room, comfortable ( maybe slightly hard) bed, clean, good aircon. The lobby is interesting in a positive way with Chinese pots, furniture etc. There is an elevator. It is located about 300 metres from the Sheraton Hotel beside which is a river pier for boat transport up and down the river. Very usefully located.

• Verified traveler (10/5): A clean, organized and professional experience - The hotel is extremely clean and accolades to the housekeeping staff, they were all so kind and hardworking. As were the front desk staff, extreme dedication and always wanting to help or listen to any request. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed watching dual language movies on MoNo 29 in the evenings, simply select English or Thai, though I loved to watch with Thai subtitles.

• Yabe (8/5): - タクシーにインタウンレジデンスと言っても通じないので、住所を見せて送ってもらいましょう。 カフェの自動ドア入るとフロントが目の前にあります。フロントの方が笑顔で癒されます(^^) チェックイン前に荷物を預けようとすると、フロントの横のテーブルに置いておくように言われます。無くなったら困るものは置かない方がいいでしょう。 デポジットを現金で渡したのですが、控えを渡されますので無くさないようにしましょう（一応、控えを渡さなくてもデポジットは返ってきました）。 朝食券を渡されるのでこちらも無くさないようにしましょう。 お部屋の入口の鍵は上下2本あります。取っ手の方の鍵は回しながら開けると開きます。 セキュリティボックスがある部屋と無い部屋があります。セキュリティボックスは鍵タイプ（凄くレトロな鍵）でした。 水2本と美味しそうなフルーツがお部屋にありました。 冷蔵庫・テレビはコンセントが抜けているので自分で差してスイッチを入れます！ テレビ、サブスクが見れそうな画面が出るのですがエラーで見れませんでした・・。 コンセントが少ないので注意です！ シャワーのお湯は、シャワーの機械の白い回す所をオンまで回すと出ます。水圧あまりですが、温水がちゃんと出て良かったです。 石鹸・リンスインシャンプー・ボディソープ・ハンガー・ハンドタオル・バスタオルあります。 歯ブラシ・ヘアブラシ・ドライヤー・バスローブなどは有りませんのでご注意ください。 私の部屋は大丈夫でしたが、もう一部屋は小さい虫が一匹出たそうです。空間防虫スプレー持って行くと良いかも。 窓からの眺望は、私の部屋は隣接建物の屋上（笑）、もう一部屋は隣のビルの狭間でした。 ベッドは問題なくよく眠れました。 壁などに遮音性はなさそうですが、泊っている方みんな静かでした。 朝食は、朝食券を1階のカフェに渡します（不愛想）。コーヒーか紅茶か聞かれて、紅茶（美味しくない）を頼んでしまったのですが、カフェなのでコーヒーを頼んだ方が良かったと後悔しました。 トーストとジャム・マーガリン、目玉焼き、サラダ、ハム・ウインナーでした。

• rtw_rising_moon (6/5): 中華街外れにありSilomや中華街中心まで歩いて約20分の宿 - 周辺には味のある昔からの建物もあり、またTalat Noiも歩いて直ぐで、下町風情で歩いて楽しい地区でした。 建物は古いものの水回り含め掃除はされていてその点は満足でしたが、カーテン等に髪の毛やゴミがついたままなのはご愛嬌。自分でトイレットペーパー使ってどけました。 冷房冷蔵庫もテレビ(タイ語)あり、寝るだけなら十分のお部屋、スタッフも親切。ただし建物が古いせいか食べ物を置いておくと蟻がやってきますし、その他の虫も目にすることがありますが、タイの一般的な建物では普通ですし高級ホテルでも発生しうること。 寝るだけで1-2泊なら自分の次の宿泊先として選択肢になりうると思っています。 Good location, friendly staffs, comfort entrance & café area. • Jennifer (2/5): - Staff were rude and not friendly at all. I booked a room for a family of 3 for 3 nights and they gave me a room with 2 twin beds (not the superior triple room that I booked). When we checked in, they informed us that they did not receive our reservation, even though I had already paid in advance and had a receipt for it. Poor customer service. Additionally, the Hotel is not 0.67 km from ICONSIAM, false advertising as it is 1 hour walking distance to the mall. We will not be staying here again. Very uncomfortable stay.

• ABE (4/5): - There is no metro station nearby. You will need a taxi to get here. Nothing in the area to sightsee. There is no safe in the room, so you cannot leave anything of value in the room. The hotel is old and dated. The refrigerator did not work. The air conditioner runs for a while but does not cool down the room and then it shuts off on its own and the room gets hot. The room never really cooled down because you cannot set it to a low temperature. The staff does not speak English. The internet is weak. Overall, not worth the price paid and will not return.

• David (4/5): - Pros: Beautiful common areas (antique?) furniture ( lobby and hallways) - Relaxing environment in hotel lobby with classical music playing in background and quiet atmosphere to enjoy a good book. Nice big glass doors and windows where you can enjoy the view outside while enjoying a drink. - friendly and helpful staff Cons: shower has moldy silicone linings in between tiles and silicone lining the shower walls. Some of the silicone has turned completely black with mold. For health and sanitation of staff and guests, this silicone needs to be replaced with new one as it is likely creating unsafe air quality (air mold spores)

I guess it’s okay if you’re going to be gone half the day but it would be nice to come back to a cool room. I don’t blame them they might not know about it.

• Richard (8/5): - Stayed there a month ago and found it to be a great bargain with a good sized room, everything worked and the staff was great. I said I'd stay there again and I just did. Still a great deal, everything worked and the staff was still great. Not 4 star, but they don't claim to be. The only downside is the location, a ways from the MRT/BTS and a 1300 step hike from the heart of Chinatown. But very convenient to the riverboats plying the Chao Phraya, with a pier right around the corner.

• Richard (8/5): - Intown residence was a pleasant surprise, given the great price. It was clean, well managed, the staff was great. I booked it because most hotels near Chinatown were full for Chinese New Year. Expecting the worst, what a pleasant surprise. Not a 4 star hotel, but a nice big room with everything i needed, everything worked and the staff was great. Good wifi, too. Only downside was the 1300 steps to get to the MRT but i found out the river boats from the pier right around the corner were more fun anyway. I'll definitely stay there again.

• Anthony (8/5): - A good place if you want a restful night's sleep. I booked a double room which had everything I needed. Bathroom was spacious and Wifi was decent. View out the window was a wall although didn't bother me. There's a coffee bar and restaurant at the front which does good food, although quite a lot of menu items weren't available throughout my stay - including sandwiches and the burger. Dining options outside are limited, I had to walk quite a bit to find anything decent. 10-15 minute walk to Saphan Taksin.
• 792candicew (2/5): What a dump - Stayed here for one night with my friend whilst in Bangkok. The lobby area is quite nice but the rooms are not. The bed is a solid rock, we may aswell have slept on the floor. It is so unbelievably hard it is impossible to have a good nights sleep. I have never experienced anything like it. The air con is so loud it keeps you up at night and the bathroom is really quite unclean. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone apart from people looking to stay up all night.
• Frederick (8/5): - Only 1 PowerPoint. No kitchenette just a jug & cups. However I was left alone & my room was only entered once, otherwise i had my Do Not Disturb sign up which was greatly appreciated. Nice in house restaurant both "American breakfast" & Thai food.....sadly all meat/animal based bar 1 dish. The staff had very poor/no English but were very nice & accommodating. Check out was 12pm which was great & they held my bag for me till my late flight. As common in SE Asia the Air Con was needed to sleep but was very loud. The room was quiet but there were few guests......maybe this says something? Was in a good location. Away from the backpacker area but this lead to people staring & laughing at me but I'm used to that. Reasonably priced at $30 a night. However they took a 500 Bhat ($AUD25) that was not announced until arrival. However i would recommend you DO NOT VISIT Thailand as it is a military junta as well as quite expensive. Unless you are a shopper for example. Don't use the tuk tuks as they rip you off as every salesman tries to. Recommend the establishment but not Thailand until democracy returns. Would tecom

• KP (8/5): - Something GOOD: The staff over the reception counter were friendly and helpful and it's actually quite clean and free of cockroaches unlike what I read from the other reviews. The best thing: It is quite near to Si Praya Pier with around 5 minutes of walking distance, and perhaps some of the railway transports (Hua Lamphong terminal, MRT and BTS) located within 1.5KM. Something THAT CAN BE IMPROVED: The facilities - The shower heater that it provided is sort of old and it could do with some replacement. Then, some of their housekeepers tend to forget to put some things when cleaning the room at times. BOTTOMLINE: If you don't mind a little walk / boat trip / Grab or taxi hailing, this place is still a great place to be, with consideration of its relatively low price. Hopefully they will keep up with it.

• jonasv766 (2/5): Do not recommend - Very small portions, dishes are of very bad quality. Pretty sure they all were microwaved, and even then it wasn't warm enough. There are other restaurants which offers better food for this price, would even prefer a McDonald's.
• Joel43_12 (6/5): Good budget hotel in a quiet location - Due to a late flight we did not arrive until after 1am with the taxi driver having difficulty finding the hotel despite giving him the hotel's taxi instructions in Thai. The room on the 5th floor was clean and comfortable with a fridge and adequate storage space. The tv was old style with terrible reception and a fairly ineffective air conditioner. Wifi worked ok in the room. The bathroom was clean but dated with a weak hot water shower, no shampoo provided. The American breakfast either included in the room rate or THB150 if not was ok 2 eggs,ham,sausage, toast, coffee and juice. Beer was cheap for Bangkok at THB 70 for a large Chang. The Hotel was close to the Si Phraya pier for the Chao Phraya Express boat THB 14 and not far from Hua Lamphong station. Harmonique restaurant was a few minutes walk and there was a good local restaurant around the corner on the way to the pier. We stayed at this hotel again when we returned to Bangkok before flying home but had to pay a THB 500 refundable deposit for the key as we booked this stay direct with the hotel rather than through a web booking agency. Staff were friendly and helpful.
• auqa_franny (2/5): Dirty Room and many cockroaches - When you come through the entrance the hotel really looks nice and new. Unfortunately that's just an optical illusion. The room was very dirty. The flor wasn't cleaned up, on the sheet were many flecks and hairs. Besides the room was all over with cockroaches. After we complained about the room we got a new one. This room was a little bit better but still the flor was dirty and we had to share the room with many cockroaches. Never again!!!
• roberty705 (10/5): A nice hotel in the quiet conner of Bangkok - I've been staying this hotel for the last 5 years every time I come to see my friends in Bangkok. It has kept the room standard well. Clean room. While the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location with quiet neighborhood. Not full service hotel but you get more than you pay. Internet-wifi is covered most of the hotel rooms and in the lobby, and it's free, Wow!!!
• RobbieEly (4/5): Not horrible but getting close - We stayed here for one night on a recent trip and weren't massively impressed. The room our two sons were staying had electrical problems (it kept going off), a poor shower, stained sheets that were uncomfortable, noisy aircon and it was generally not spotlessly clean. Our room was a bit better but not great either with a horrible weird view where your chest was level with the base of a courtyard/patio thing. The most positive thing I can say is it's close to the railway station which was the main reason we chose it. I wouldn't stay here again.
• LizaL_13 (10/5): Nice mid-range hotel - I enjoyed staying my two nights stay at the Intown Residence. Very clean, and the hotel staff is very friendly. This place is near Chinatown, and nearby restaurants and shopping malls. It's extra for wifi, but it's worth it. The hotel also has a restaurant that serves breakfast, Thai and Chinese food. I found this place after walking out of a terrible place a few blocks over, and I'm glad I did. I just wished that I stayed at this hotel, when I first arrived in Bangkok. This hotel is very clean and affordable, and would definitely stay here again, if I'm ever in Bangkok.
