Tried three rooms #1 had dry leafy substance between the mattress and box spring on the floor and behind the bed #2 had dead bugs and odd dried red/orange stains on the mattress #3 strong smell of dog and long white dog hair all over. Told there was a white Pyrenees dog in the room—a month ago! There was no bed skirt and a small hole in the wall. Only positive was the woman at the front desk (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name), she was awesome. After wasting a considerable amount of time we went elsewhere. I lived here when they were building this hotel and it’s not old, but looks rundown.

jeffreystern (4/5): Property is in declining - Hotel is not that old but there are signs if significant decline. We booked two rooms. When entering the second room, a rotting food smell was apparent. We got another room assigned but discovered that the door card reader malfunctioned. We got beyond that issue and after taking a shower, my wife found that the air conditioner was not working. Requested a 3rd room. It was ok but she found debris from a previous guest under the bed. We won’t return. My observation, based only on dealing with the night crew, is that staff and manager are poorly trained and not prepared.

Cheri (4/5): Not great - I’ve stayed here many times. This property is close to the highway and the new Starbucks out front is very nice. There is a nice convenience store across the street. Room 417. Good grief. Buy a new mattress. This was the worst two nights of sleep I’ve had. Couple that with whatever the awful noise was all night. It sounded like a helicopter was landing every ten minutes. Even my whites noise machine couldn’t block it out. I never figured out what it was. Terrible room. I didn’t have the energy to ask to move rooms.

Teri (6/5): Watch your credit card charges - We visit family each year for Christmas and discovered this place last year. The hotel is new and very clean. My warning is watch your credit card charges. We travel with our pet and we’re charged 3 times for our pet fee and each charge was for a different amount. The explanation was that the front desk person was new which I can understand. My biggest complaint is that when I asked what the issue was with the credit card charges I was given the run around by the front desk, general manager until I kept pushing for an explanation. Thanks to the accounting personnel for giving an actual explanation and correcting the issue. We’ll see if we stay next year!

They said we have big dogs which is not true we have no pets!!!! We don’t have clean towels or trash can to use or tissues

Sightsee10251363613 (2/5): Worst Marriott employees I've had the misfortune of dealing with - I showed up on Monday July 17th 2023 around 8pm and the receptionist said they had accidentally deleted my reservation and they were sold out. Instead of offering to fix this they suggested I call another Marriott. The nearby Marriotts were also all sold out. At that point the check in clerk had her supervisor on the phone and he suggested I call the Holiday Inn. I have never been to a Marriott before where they admitted they were at fault for deleting the reservation and did nothing to fix it. The one time I've been at another Marriott that was oversold they had another room lined up at a different Marriott for me before I even got there. The service from this Towneplace Suites in Newburgh is not what I expect from a Marriott. These twits should all be fired.
Danny (10/5): - Breakfast is the only thing that is not spectacular. Long lines for the waffle maker because they only have one and they never had biscuits and gravy.

Andrew (4/5): - Was there for 5 days and they cleaned the room 1 time. I had to ask 3 seperate times for my room to be cleaned and that resulted in one cleaning for the week. On one occassion we were approaching our room and one of the cleaning ladies walked out. I asked if she was done and she said, "oh you need it cleaned?" I said yes please. She said she would have to come back, but of course never did. Im still unsure why she went in the room if she didnt plan on cleaning it. Everything else about the place was great, but i expect my room to be cleaned each day. Once in five days is unacceptable. Especially since i asked multiple times for it to be cleaned.

dvkremk (8/5): Brand new hotel - We stayed for one night. The front desk check-in was quick and staff was friendly. Our room was very comfortable. Bed was comfy and the room was quiet throughout the night. Cleaning staff in the hall were friendly as we walked by. They had a variety of food available for breakfast.

Cheryl (10/5): - This property was an excellent place to stay that was close to my dad's house. We were there for 12 nights so the full kitchen was absolutely a bonus. Far enough from the highway to be quiet. Staff was always very friendly and accommodating.

Surfingmama (10/5): Love this place! Will stay again! - This place was so nice, and the price point was fantastic! Loved the little kitchenette, perfect for preparing our Thanksgiving sides! Huge bathroom, everything was insanely clean! The front desk people were very nice, very accommodating! Loved the special touches, like HBO on our TV because our three year old son is obsessed with Super Pets, so that was super nice! The pool was fantastic... would have loved a hot tub, but definitely still can't complain! The breakfast was great, lots of options! Very close and convenient to everything! Sparkling clean everywhere! Also felt very safe and secure here. Absolutely nothing!

nicole (10/5): - Fairly new hotel so it was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was the typical make your own waffle, with eggs, cereals and pastry but it was better than most hotels. A hot tub would’ve been nice. Overall a good stay!
Candace (10/5): Very nice - The staff was excellent, rooms were very clean and spacious. They have two gas grills and a fire pit table on the front patio you can use at any time, a gym, and an indoor saltwater pool. Lots of restaurants and stores within 3-5 minutes in either direction, plus a nice gas/ food place right across the street.
brad (6/5): - We didn’t have a terrible stay. We could easily hear people in the room next to us and in the hallway talking and when we turned the heat on in the room it was really loud for a few minutes.
