• Ruth (10/5): Great rooms in a great location - Thank you for another lovely stay. I’ve been coming here for the last 5 years, and have always been happy with everything. Stayed in Room 4 this time, one of my favourites! Really nice comfy bed, good shower and nice size bathroom. I like the toiletries provided, they smell really nice. The ladies who come in to clean the rooms are always so friendly and welcoming, it’s always good to say hi. I’ll be back again! Nothing, it’s all good.

• Glyn (8/5): No 16 , Seaham - Location and parking. The amount of space and ease of entry. Cleanliness was good and cleaning staff friendly. Decoration and furniture in good condition. The Italian restaurant around the corner was excellent and deserves a mention. Food prices in the area less than the Midlands. A plus factor. Roomfelt airless, Window mechanism faulty, management notified. Bathroom fan not working. Heating could not be adjusted.

• Jamie (8/5): Lovely hotel that is conveniently located - The room was very clean and more spacious than other hotels we’ve stayed at in the area. The beds were very clean, new and extremely comfortable. Loved the bedding. The fixtures and decor are modern and ascetically pleasing. The lock box and key pad were a bit finicky and difficult to use at times. The water in the shower didn’t stay hot for long.

• Rose (9/5): No. 16 seaham - Convenient and close to where we were visiting with ample necessities close by. Clean and well maintained property. For what we paid for it was right and was just what we needed for our short stay

• Michael (8/5): Good value and good facilities compared to other accommodation only venues. - Number 16 is accommodation only. The facilities in the room were good. The bed was very large and firm. There is adequate space all round. the plumbing is good with great flow to the outlets. The heating is very good and we were not cold at all. The TV has all channels and streaming. Good tea/coffee making facility. Nothing jumped out to give us cause for concern.

• Donna (9/5): Great little hotel - Easy on street parking right outside the property. Simple instructions by email and text to explain how to access the property - no issues at all. Clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and shops. Rooms didn't have good sound proofing so could hear the noise outside from traffic and other people moving around. However this was tolerable and would still stay here again.

A little dusty especially on the walls (possibly due to colour of paint) Would love a little fridge in the room just to keep cold drinks & possibly sandwiches .

Stairs very steep & lighting sensor needs adjustment - for me - short person- light didnt come on until 3 steps from top. Window - blind does not keep street light out - top & side gaps. Maybe black out curtains.

• Kitty (7/5): Betaalbaar basic appartement - Vooral de locatie was top! Dichtbij het strand en winkels. Het inchecken ging gemakkelijk en de host en schoonmaaksters erg vriendelijk. Prijs is ok in vergelijking met andere accomodaties in de omgeving We zaten in het appartement. De relaxruimte met bankstel was in de keuken en niet erg comfortabel. De eetruimte was in een aparte ruimte waar de buitendeur niet goed af sloot (was wel dicht maar de deur is kromgetrokken waardoor er een spleet is instaan) en er veel kou naar binnen kwam (februari). In de slaapkamers kon de verwarming niet uit waardoor het er veel te warm was ‘s nachts. Verder alles prima in orde.

• Charlotte (9/5): Another return visit - I like the self check in and unmanned aspect as I am a very private person. The rooms are all comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location is fantastic, walking distance from everything you need. The windows are a little noisy, despite being double glazed, as they are in keeping with the period of the building. Could do with the towels being bath sheets so you can sit and relax after a shower

This was our Second visit and will be booking again. Front door lock a little confusing at first,but that’s my age.sorted after second attempt.

• Paul (7/5): - The location was good for our needs, the owner was communicative and helpful, the room was clean and tidy and the price was affordable and reasonable The extremely noisy people staying in room 6 who were up and down the stairs all hours of the night durijg our stay there and woke us up banging on our door at 2.30am on the Sunday morning after they had somehow managed to lock themselves out of their room after going out to smoke weed for the 2nd time since 12.30am. The bed sagged a little as some of the slats underneath were broken off and the shower drained very slowly when in use, to the point it was often slightly flooding onto the floor outside, making the user have to turn it off and wait for it to fully drain before resuming use.

Good location I had the room by the main entrance to the building and you could constantly hear footsteps on the flooring on the other side of the wall, close to where your bed is, as well as the front door slamming. Both were annoying when I was asleep or trying to sleep
• Jenny (8/5): Lovely apartment, great location. - Fab location, good communication from host. Comfy beds. Lovely apartment and rooms. Enjoy check in at 1pm and check out at 11 but would sacrifice an hour if this if it stopped the rush with the cleaners. Tv in room 3 not working properly. Cleaners smoking outside door which then made smoke smell come into room. When checking out cleaners had piled clean towels on stairs and in hallway. My elderly parents had to walk down the stairs and avoid towels and then step over towels in the hall. Check out is 11 but you feel rushed out.
