The coffee was expensive in the lobby, as was the restaurants on site. Then having to pay $20 a day for parking. Just all of this to nickel and dime your guests. We won't be staying here again.

judy (6/5): Horrible stay at Marriott Allen Tx - I came for business and chose your hotel because the convention was being held there. I was a Vendor with my business. The room I was In 201 so hot all the time and very miserable at night. It was so hot you could not sleep at all. It supposed to be a comfortable level to stay cool and rest well. The bed was so hard it was unable to sleep on too. Asked to be moved and told no rooms due to the convention. I charged 20.00 and tax a day for parking, when it was not a garage across the street . It was an attached garage and no where else around the hotel to park at all, but we’re still charges. That horrible in my opinion when it’s attached to your hotel. The fees that were charged seemed very gouging. 4 days at your hotel for what we got and the room were in at 1000.00 is crazy. It’s definitely. Not worth what I paid. We left today exhausted due to no rest sweating all night everyday. And was reported to Heather at the front desk. I was going to address this issue with Marriott anyway, I feel this stay should be comped immediately! Your quick response on this matter back to me is appreciated. Thank You Judy
Leslie (4/5): - Needed a handicapped accessible room; did not get that. I called the hotel they said to contact hotels.com. Did that and said I needed a handicapped room, and I changed the reservation to handicapped but I was put on the 5th floor, all the way down the end of the hall, and I had difficulty getting off the toilet and was not able to shower. Then three separate times I had to clean the piles of dust that came out of the vent. My only option was to move to a different room at 10:00 at night. I was using crutches and rely on my son for help, so I adjusted the ac to not turn on as often. At check in I was told that I would have to pay for parking and there was a $50 hold. I was not informed of this prior. For $250 for one night, I expected more.

The lounge was well equipped with water and drinks. We would stay here again if needed. The location is great if you have a car. Parking garage is behind the building.
BruceF951 (10/5): A Quick Bite To Eat Without Leaving The Hotel. - My wife was a little fatigued after a long flight from Virginia and visiting friends. We went downstairs for a quick bite to eat. We didn’t want to leave the hotel at night driving on unfamiliar roads. Jason was our server. The bar was very crowded as the hotel was hosting a sports card memorabilia show. There was live music provided by Ma’rissa Chibli. She played a guitar and sang. She was very good! My wife ordered fish and chips. I ordered a steak sandwich which came with french fries. The din of sports card collectors could be heard over the music. Jason was working multiple tables but we were not overlooked. He kept our glasses filled with water. This was my first time walking into the middle of a memorabilia show. It was quite fascinating. We completed our meal and returned to our room.
Ballard (10/5): - Caroline at the front desk was the epitome of excellent customer service, professionalism and friendliness. Kevin at the Canyon (?) bar went above and beyond with service and made me feel comfortable as an older woman coming into a bar alone. This was on Christmas day with a full house and crowded lobby. Its the best hotel experience I have had in many years. I highly recommend this establishment!

Cynthia (7/5): Not up to previous stays but our concerns were handled immediately and remainder of stay was pleasant. - Have stayed multiple times, the staff is very welcoming. This last time we had a couple of hiccups. One wash cloth for two people. We do not reuse wash clothes so 4 per day. 2 in AM 2 in PM THEN THERE WAS THE CHAIR, gross stain would NOT sit in it. Picture below I alerted front desk was taken care of by the time we returned with new chair.
Kaiser_D (10/5): Great Conference Hotel_DvB - Overall a great stay! I had few interactions with hotel staff since the judicial conference team was attentive and proactive in guiding my time on the property outside of the room. Clean, good breakfast and lunch, and walkable spot to many restaurants and bars despite being a little outside of the big city. I was a little surprised that there was no complimentary water in the room (at least the first two bottles). Also, I am mistrustful of the sliding bathroom doors, but these fully covered the view of the shower/toilet area. Otherwise, my one interaction with the front desk was with a lovely woman from Scotland and my few passes by the cleaning crew in the hallway was pleasant. The layout offered numerous conference rooms and spacious gathering spaces. The overall experience was highly positive. The rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet, but the standout aspects are the conference capacity attached.

Robert (2/5): Worst bed ever! - We were supposed to stay 2 nights but left after 1. The bed was so uncomfortable that we both had back issues the next day. We could feel lumpy springs under the bedding. The #1 thing a hotel should have is a comfortable bed. We were charged $18 for parking which seems high and the WiFi was an extra charge too which these days seems ridiculous. We would never stay there again.
MrOxford1999 (10/5): Excellant staff and hotel! - Wonderful hotel and the staff are fantastic. Second time I’ve stayed here on business this year. Laura at the front desk was superb in helping with a problems with my laptop and just being super kind and friendly. The rooms are spacious and in excellant condition, bar and all food is excellent, there is a great outdoor pool. Thanks so much for a wonderful stays in 2024, will be back in 2025.

Kelly (10/5): My favorite conference and expo location yet. The layout is great, and I appreciate the smooth floors when having to pus - It is located in a nice, quiet area. Everything is very convenient and easy to get to in the hotel and the convention center. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The drinks/ snacks in the lobby are very overpriced. $12 for a candy bar and bottle of pop.

222sridhart (10/5): Great stay! - Stayed 3 nights on a recent business trip at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center. I was upgraded to a King suite because of my Bonvoy status. Highlights: -Hotel location is fantastic. Watters Creek is right across the street and gives you access to shopping and dining options. Watters Creek is a great spot to hang out in the evenings! Many restaurants offer open air seating and it is a happening place(very lively). -The suite rooms are modern, big and very comfortable. Walk-in shower was awesome! -The lobby is huge, the oval swimming pool is big and so is the courtyard. -The hotel offers complementary snacks on the 6th floor for its Bonvoy members(soda, water bottles, coffee, cereal bars are always stocked). -Parking garage has access to every floor. -Complementary breakfast is provided for platinum members at their restaurant and with good choices. The staff at the restaurant were friendly. -Allow approximately 45mins. if you are driving from the Dallas Airport. -Hotel charges extra for parking. The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Big shout out to Eathan at the front desk. He checked me in and was fast, attentive and informative. If you like walking/running outdoors-look no further than the Watters Trail(just a 2mins. walk to one of the entrances)- offers several miles of paved trails(ask the front desk for details).You will love the trail, guaranteed! The other option is to go on Bethany drive and either turn left/right on the Alma Drive intersection. Opportunities: -Charging for parking seems excessive. It will be great if management can look into this. Overall, fantastic and will return next time. Highly recommend!

We arrived late night, and were told they couldn’t accommodate the room type we booked due to other guests checking in early! After about 5-10 minutes of explaining them that it may not work for us, the front desk asked us to wait for a few minutes so they can get our room ready. Took them 15-20 minutes and finally we were in. Glad they were able to help. Room was clean and well kept. Hotel is located in a convenient location and hotel staff is very friendly. Has a good breakfast buffet. The adult buffet price was comparable to any other place, but for kids it was very very fairly priced considering how much kids eat :-). The cleaning staff did a good job throughout the stay. We didn’t get to use all the facilities in our 2 night stay, but our overall stay was good.
