• William (7/5): An economical but solid choice along Route 1 - It was nice to have a large kitchen to prepare meals. I also liked the sitting room downstairs, and my travelling group and I had dinner while chatting. The property itself was interesting, as it appears to have previously been a school. The area of the building that was no longer in use seemed somewhat dilapidated, which affects your impression of the property upon arrival. The rooms themselves were also quite plain. Perhaps some artwork could be hung to spruce things up and make it more "homey."

• KOWSKIDA (8/5): Casa modesta pero equipada - Alejado, a 10 minutos del pueblo. Estaba calefaccionado pero no en todas las habitaciones se sentia igual. La cocina estaba equipada con una cocina y un microondas, no posee horno. De todas maneras, nos sentimos a gusto y pasamos una buena noche. Puede mejorarse. El sofa cama incómodo y la diferencia de temperatura de las habitaciones. Nos hizo frio pero no tanto como puede esperarse en otras epocas. Encontramos comida abierta, suponemos de otros huéspedes.

Richiesto camera con letto matrimoniale o 2 letti singoli attaccati: ci siamo ritrovati una camera con 2 letti separati ai due estremi della camera.

• YUTING (9/5): - 採自助入住，民宿會在入住前提供大門鑰匙盒的密碼，鑰匙會放在櫃檯。房間蠻大的，有提供浴巾和毛巾，房間內有洗手槽，插座蠻多的！廚房有兩組電磁爐、洗手台，可同時多組客人使用，有提供微波爐、茶包、咖啡，沒有烤箱。共用廁所乾濕分離，沒有提供沐浴乳和洗髮精，需自備！ 離熱鬧城鎮Egilsstaðir 開車約十分鐘，可先在鎮上的Bonus或Netto超市買完食材再前往。 民宿後方是一大片草地和小小山丘，運氣好可以看到滿滿極光！10月初前往，早上8點左右也很適合看日出！

• Fábio (8/5): Boa estadia - Optima localização. Apartamento com cozinha partilhada, muito bem equipada e bons espaços comuns. É necessário subir 3 pisos de escadas para aceder ao quarto. Quando chegámos, o sofá cama não estava montado e deixaram roupa de cama não adequada para o mesmo. (Podes anexar a foto). O chuveiro tem a torneira estragada sendo difícil ligar a água. A casa de banho é extremamente pequena.

• Marek (8/5): Exterior is terrible, fortunately interior is good. - 1. Mostly clean property inside. 2. Fellow travelers 1. Exterior is neglected. 2. Too much light on outside walls of the property create so much light pollution that it can ruin northern light watching in this otherwise dark part of Iceland.

• Erich (8/5): It’s good for a short stay. - I stayed in House 8 Apt. 2. It was very quiet and it is in the countryside, away from the city. We didn’t receive the instructions on how to get to the house and the number for the key box, and had to call the host. The shower is small and the drainage inside the shower was not very good.

Odore del monolocale pungente e persistente. Non abbiamo mangiato perché il piano cottura dopo 1h, non faceva arrivare l’acqua nella pentola alla temperatura di ebollizione. Pareti sottili, sentivamo tutto.

• Nataliia (10/5): A nice place to stay in a suburban Iceland 🇮🇸👌 - It’s not far from the closest town, so it’s very convenient to shop, get fuel and check-in. The latter is simple and fast. The room is spacious with big windows facing the beautiful Icelandic scenery. The kitchen is stocked with basics. Each floor had enough showers and toilets for guests not to wait in the line.

• Dea (7/5): - Piccolina ma con tutto il necessario per una notte. Piano cottura, tavolo e stoviglie/pentole varie, bollitore e microonde. Bagno pulito e struttura calda. Non posso giudicare lo staff in quanto non l’ho visto, ma sulla prenotazione mi era stato precedentemente lasciato il codice per poter effettuare il check-in in autonomia al nostro arrivo. Posizione un po’ scomoda, dista circa 14km dalla città principale sulla Ring Road (Strada 1) ma è tutta dritta, non ci si può sbagliare.

Las zonas comunes están cerca de algunas habitaciones, no eran las nuestras pero hicieron que no quisiéramos estar en zonas comunes para no molestar.

• Selina (7/5): - Es wurde ein Babybett für uns hergerichtet und alles war sauber geputzt. Die Küche ist ausreichend. Es war alles gut bis unsere Nachbarn kamen. Es kam gegen 21 Uhr eine spanischen Reisegruppe. Es war so laut, als würden diese neben uns stehen. Es war Horror. Wir sind in den Nebenraum zum schlafen ausgewichen, um eine Wand mehr zu haben, aber bis 2 Uhr morgens haben diese Party gemacht. Uns war nicht bewusst, dass dort so viele Menschen nebenan schlafen konnten. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir diese gesehen, es waren mindestens 7 Leute. Unser Baby hat geschlafen, aber wir nicht. Man muss dazu sagen, dass mein Mann eine Hörschädigung hat und deswegen normal NIE durch Geräusche gestört wird, aber auch er konnte nicht schlafen, weil es so laut war.

• Sameed CK (8/5): A comfy stay but a little far from Egilstaadir and hence bit detour from Ring Road. - The kitchen was good. The room was also comfy with the surrounding also nice. Bathrooms were shared. Also the hosts were bit cold. Moreover they were not happy when we took around 5 more minutes to check out.
• Bettina (10/5): - Wir hatten ein 4 Personen Appartment. Das Appartment ist sehr geräumig, die Lage ruhig, in der Nähe von Egilstadir. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet.
