• Rachel (10/5): Great family holiday, close to boat ramp, beach and pub - Excellent location Clean, comfortable Combined bathroom/toilet for 5 adults, although we made it work 😊
• Bruwer (5/5): There is room for improvement which would make the house a special place to stay. - Location of the house is walking distance to the beach. Kangaroos hop by the house to go to the beach. Unfortunately the microwave oven was not working so no food could be heated. And the main lights in bedrooms didn't work.
• Tania (3/5): As above - It is a wonderful location The outside freezer wasnt working bedroom lights wernt working we couldnt utilize the outside area as the light flickers so badly its unuseable the yard was overgrown with prickles so bad that we couldnt walk on the grass our dogs couldnt even walk in the yard we have been going to this house for over three years it has gone down hill very badly in our expectations from our other visits.Overall very dissapointed in the upkeep an maintenance of the property
• Melinda (3/5): - Location The fridge was turned off, fish smelling water in bottom of the fridge freezer. We had to mop it up before turning it on. Outside lights in patio, one was out & other one continually flickered. The washers in the bathroom vanity need changing, if you didn’t turn it off really tight the water would keep dropping/running. The cloths line & you could only use 2 strands as the others were rusted. With the wind blowing the clothes one of my pairs of shorts ripped from wire on the cloths line. The weeds were high under the line.
• Sara (10/5): Quiet, calm with amazing beach and fishing opportunities - Clean, comfy and everything you need is there. There was no vacuum or laundry detergent.

• Meya.g (9/5): Tranquillity of Birdsong House, DIngo Beach 10/10 - It was such a cozy house, and it had good energy. It was very peaceful even with all the gorgeous birds about in the mornings and afternoons. Quite a few friendly magpies, butcher birds and crows, and other exotic birds. We all slept well. The house is close to the beaches, and it had the most panoramic views. The locals are friendly, and it was nice to experience a belonging feeling. The shop,servo, and takeout are just a few metres away on the corner with the most friendliest, warm customer service personnel. We had the best burgers ever and freshly made meat and salad rolls. A variety of takeout is limited, but seriously, grab a burger from there. It opens early morning and closes at 2pm, lunch cut off the grill is 1.15pm ish. We had a hiccup with getting in. However, it was promptly sorted, and the lady was lovely and helpful even for a person like me having PTSD. It was a "us" thing. We were loaded up of our own groceries. There are ample cooking pots, pans, utensils, and cutlery. Inside fridge/freezer of a good size and a bar fridge out the back and a bait chest freezer. We are all glad we finally made it to "Birdsong House" after many years of planning, and things happened out of our control like heavy rain, cyclones, and covid . Our experience as travellers gives the whole experience a 10/10. It was well overdue to get there, and we are already planning a longer getaway to there again soon as we can. Caught some good fish from the beach as well. That we didn't stay longer. We stayed for 3 nights, The peace and the refreshing energy felt were amazing.

• Lavinia (8/5): Very good - When we arrived, it was awfully hot, the air-conditioners were on and the house was nice & cool. Thank you, we really appreciated it. Location was excellent 👌 The only downside side was the bed size, a queen or king would have been a lot more comfortable.
• Mike (8/5): Easy walk to beach, shop and pub. - Location is the best thing about this property. Like most properties there is always room for improvement. Mattress leave a little to be desired. A piece of rough wire to hold flyscreen door open, making all windows and doors lockable is not that hard or expensive. Two of the outside chairs falling apart, I tighten the screws. Great it has a bait freezer but I wouldn't be using it as the smell nearly knocked me out when I opened it. None of this would stop me booking again but fixing the little things can make a BIG difference especially when there are many.

• Barbaral (5/5): after the bed issue the stay was very nice - The location The cleaner was excellent as the bed was disgusting, stains and lumpy, just terrible. But the cleaner supplied us with one of her own personal very thick mattress topper. Without that we would have not stayed and we would have wanted a refund.
• Fiona (6/5): To be honest I was disappointed. The location was convenient but wouldn’t rush to book again. The house is set up to cat - Location and grassed area The double bed mattress was too hard. Foxtel didn’t work. No outside taps had fixtures to turn them on. Top of fridge was very greasy!

• Dawn (8/5): Lovely location, family and pet friendly a perfect place to chill - Dingo beach was an excellent property and was central to all facilities, House was ideal and had all the amenities one could want The beds were very uncomfortable
• Cara (8/5): Relaxing family holiday, serene location. - It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked for a holiday home and a generous supply of consumables. The beach is gorgeous and the locals are very welcoming. It was very old and outdated for the price point. The TV was super tiny and had a complicated process to get it to work.
