Blanchard (9/5): Stay for fine except for the snafu with the reservations. - Breakfast was very good. Variety of choices was good. Location off front lobby was ideal. The fact that there were two reservations under the same name. One was made by my son for him and his wife and mine was for a single. I came in a day early and paid the for extra night. When my son came in the following day and canceled his reservation I asked for a printout of my bill to make sure it had been credited to the right room. To make a long story short, my reservation was the one that had been canceled even though I prepaid through Booking.com. When I checked out on Friday I ended up paying for my son’s room that should have been canceled. Hopefully I can get this straightened out with Booking.com soon.

William (10/5): I travel to Virginia every 3 months from SC and stay either in Culpeper or Haymarket/ Gainesville! - I had a Doctors appointment in Alexandria so I was fasting and couldn’t eat breakfast this time. I was there May 4th and really enjoyed the breakfast and the lady in charge of breakfast was so nice!! Better? If I could get a discount, or coupon since I stay every 3 months!

Vic (10/5): Very enjoyable. - Breakfast was maybe the best of any "breakfast included" stay we've encountered. breakfast staff was very attuned to ensuring items were stocked and were very helpful. Very clean environment as well. Room was well appointed with comfortable bedding.

Mary (9/5): Loved the hotel and all it's amenities, but the location was a bit inconvenient. - The hotel was very clean and modern. The rooms were likewise very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities for a longer stay (microwave, fridge, etc.). The staff was very pleasant and helpful and parkign was plentiful. The only thing we didn't like was where it is located. It's CLOSE to Rt 29, but you have to make several turns to get there, and the signage is poor. More importantly, there are no places to eat nearby - fast food or otherwise. You have to drive into the town itself, 4 miles away. It was pretty inconvenient.

They are always clean and friendly and also, they not far from town and the main highway. Recently the manager (forgot her name) went out of her way to help us with something, and we were VERY appreciative! We will definitely be returning to stay when we are in the area again. Probably the best hotel in the area!

Molly (10/5): - I am big about the kind of comforters in a hotel because I get cold, and I have always loved Hampton in that area. The room was clean, and the updated bathrooms are gorgeous. The shower has all the soaps you need and plenty of extra towels, blankets, etc. were provided. We had very friendly staff encounters as well. Breakfast wasn’t over the top, but had everything you would expect: yogurt, milk/juice, danishes, muffins, hot items, pancakes, waffles, fruit, etc. It was pet friendly, so we saw 3 fur babies while we were there. Didn’t check out the pool this round. I like that they have options for conjoined rooms.

The only suggestion is to upgrade the coffee station, it only has flavor tea and strong coffee, No decaf coffee and No plain tea available. It would be nicer to upgrade the Hot beverage station considering the Brand hotel.

She had everything well stocked & was avaliable if you needed anything. We had an incident in the middle of the night& the front desk attendant was more than helpful with any extra supplies we needed. You will see us again for sure!

The breakfast place staff were great with good coffee all day! Reason for a four star- Room AC was very loud and noisy! Thermostat controls were not receptive to changes!

Jerry (6/5): - The room was good with the suggestion that a small nightlight in the bathroom would be helpful for people who may need to use the facility. The one light switch in the bathroom will definitely wake you up completely if you switch it on during the night creating a more difficult time going back to sleep. The laptop safe is great to have and is very good amenity in the room. The attendants at the desk were super and answered any questions or dealt with any issues in a professional manner. All of the staff I interacted with were very nice and helpful. The only disappointment in my 4 night visit was the “complementary” breakfast. Most of the items scrambled eggs. bacon, sausage, different types of potatoes, etc., actually had either almost no flavor or had been overcooked to the point of dryness or toughness. There really was not a very good variety of items the 3 days I tried to eat the breakfast. Additionally, the first day I tried it, the oatmeal wasn’t even fully cooked. I’ve had much better breakfast at other hotels in Culpeper that have similar pricing.

lkO3756EP (10/5): Comfortable place to stay - Recently updated hotel. Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Everything was in working order. The Fitness Room was among the best for a hotel. Equipment that I use was similar to the gym at home. They provide water, wipes and even disposable ear buds. Breakfast was standard fare but Judy puts care into preparation and customer service. Coffee was always hot and good because of her. One suggestion, hire someone for the front desk. There’s a manager on duty but they stay in the back room and come out when they see a person at the desk, using the camera to monitor. It’s just odd that there’s no one to greet guests and also a security concern. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where there wasn’t someone at the front desk. Overall, this hotel deserves high marks.

That being said, our fur children -- Ginger and Punkin Pi -- both loved the egg & cheese omelette and chicken sausage we took one bite of before deciding to share with them The hotel location was perfectly located for our trip. A few more seasons gns along the route between to highway and the hotel parking lot. Staff was excellent and friendly!

557harlans (2/5): For Me, not a comfortable stop! - This is not as I experience! Bathroom short seat, shower head out of reach, no drawers for item storage and bed hard and no cover sheet! This is my second review first is not posted. Though I did receive a response from Roberta Pacheco, stating I did not tell the desk clerk. They would have changed the room, but all rooms are the same. This is not my first stay, just my last.
